There are times I wish I was home more. Leave Monday again for work.

The Game was fun, Cubbies lost big time. Got to see a grand slam, that was a first. The folks we are with got freebie tickets for the afternoon game today. Being a little spectator sports are really not my thing, rather be bloodied in the arena. DL ½ marathon is a few days away, feel pretty ready, will be slow but get it done.

Denver is a neat town. I gotta get my but in gear and get tickets for “Spamalot”.

I try not to be, but sometimes I've got to work so I can earn more vacation time!

Scott-don't worry about being slow on the 1/2 marathon. I'm hoping I'll be okay. I did something to my knee and ankles on the Med. cruise and I'm hoping they are just about recovered so I can get to the gym this week so I can start pacing myself again. My goal is to finish!

Busy weekend with riding and yard work. Got a big pre-ride dinner here at my house on Friday for 30 or so Arthritis Ride riders participating in a century ride on Saturday. Looking forward to it.

My 5K time was a little over a 10 min mile pace adn it felt really comfortable. SO I will be very happy with a 13 min pace in the 1/2. It will be fun for sure.

Well, so far we've booked 3 rooms at the Vagabond Inn for 9 out of the 15 of us. The other 6 are still trying to decide what they want to do.

We booked 2 rooms at the $95 Park & Sail rate and 1 room at the $67.46 Senior rate (this rate also works for AAA), since we'll only have 2 cars for the 9 of us. Save a little over booking 3 Park & Sail packages.

In an effort to keep this bumped, I'll ask my question here first.

How much does it cost (and is it possible) to change the name on a reservation?

We a couple that would like to take over the reservation of another couple that isn't going (the reservation hasn't been cancelled yet).

The cost of the cruise has increased by about $125pp, but as of last night there were still cabins available. Would it be worth it to try to just get the existing reservation changed or just book a new reservation?

My experience with DCL has been that you can make changes to any name on the reservation without charge except for the first name on the reservation. If you want to change the first name listed, the reservation has to be cancelled and a new reservation (at the current rate) must be made.

We ran into this on the 2005 PC repo cruise.

DVC charges $75 each time any name is changed on a DCL cruise.

Busy day yesterday:

Morning run was 7.5 miles with a solid 12 Min Mile pace. I am feeling good about the DL ½.

Went to the local Farmers Mkt, and picked up 4 trees, and 6 six shrubberies, ( got extra shrubberies in the event we run into a Knight that says Nik…) got those puppies planted and staked out. Ya gotta stake them with supports or they will blow away. We also got some nice produce and bread.

The Extreme Makeover crew is here in Cheyenne this week, doing a place about a mile up the road from us. They are rebuilding a house and adding a kennel, it is for a private critter rescue shelter. KEWL!!!!, If they use the opening scene they were filming at the Farmers Mkt, my pick up might be in the opening. Wonder if it is worth more, Look for the maroon ¾ ton ext cab, Dodge, with a Mickey Antenna Topper.

I was going to make Fish Tacos for diner last night but friends called and we went out for a great burger.

I have work today in Denver and Lynn can go with me so we will make a day of it, thinking about trying to get to the Denver Zoo.

Getting cooler here so it might be heading east to you all folks east of us.

Just a bump to keep this thread from getting lost. It is cooling off here today, 80 degrees instead of 90 degrees Looking forward to seeing everyone who will be around for the DL half marathon.

We had a nice weekend. Rode 102 miles on Saturday without any problems. Many folks were worried about the air quality because of the big Zaca fire near Santa Barbara, but the winds were good and smoke was never a problem.

B00ked my stay at the GC for July 20th -27th for concierge and need on Friday t0 change t0 a different r00m because they have n0 C0ncierge with a park view f0r that day

DVC said that they are n0t sure if it is a black 0ut day 0r all b00ked up thr0ugh DVC members. We c0uld get co0ncierge garden but just t00k reg standard garden view.

S0 we need t0 switch r00ms at 11am and wait till 3-5 to get int0 an0ther r00m. UGH!!!!

Well it saves us some pts anyway and last day we are all packed up anyway so guess no biggy but just nice to saty in same r00m.

I'm on my upstairs comp, the "O" is busted on my Lap top, the "L" is not to good either. Thats what I get for getting pissed off on my camping trip....I pushed it off the tabel

The keys on this keyboard work but they have been used so much that the key letters are half gone so have to keep correcting my mistakes,

Tisj is how I type without seening the keys amd doing my best to het them right Yes I could buy a new keyboard but this is my sons comp now and he knows all the keys by heart.
