Helen, there are lots of blanks on the Disigner Thread, it is fairly easy to add names on in Word. You may also find, if you look through them, names already done.

Jill, I am up for a bit of a party on the first night - perhaps we can ship the kids off to the Club (they can lie in the next day (as if!)) and have a bit of a 'knees up'!! Do they have any tastings on the first day?, perhaps we can arrange our own impromptu one at the bar!

Hi Suzanne

Corsica is a lovely island, but you need to get out of Ajjaccio really to appreciate it. However, there is a good market (lots of fruit, veg, cheeses, wine and honey), just a stroll from the ship in the morning. There are a number of monuments to Napolean and some shopping areas which are interesting.

We did an open top bus ride along the coast, then back to the town late morning, when the shops shut for lunch, we walked to the little beach just out of town. There are some nicer beaches further along and you can get a bus No. 5 to these, which run there and back every 20 mins. Or a cab for 15 euros or so. Some of the beaches have pedalos, with little slides on them. The water is so clear and ideal for snorkeling.

To be honest, after so many busy stops, it was great to just chill out a bit.

Europe really is an easy place to navigate, we always do our own thing, either by cab or train and never have any problems.

hi Kate, digging back in history here...Can you take an open air bus to a beach? Do you recall where the nicer beaches a little further out were? The taxi sounds reasonable, this is sounding nice to me.

Not long to go now Had a bit of a shopping weekend - dd now almost sorted, dh never a problem there and I was successful in my quest to find something new for formal evening!

Just wanted to put out there to be careful using credit cards at the Ports (especially in Rome). We just went there this past April (the week before Easter week) and found out after we got back home that someone there got hold of our bank card number and charged close to 400 Euro at a hotel/bar by the Colosseum. We didn't even go to this hotel (much less know where it even is). We stayed across town down the road from the Vatican City. Thankfully our bank refunded us the money with no problems and sent my husband a new card. Since this happened to us, we are now just using Euro wherever we go.

Just putting out the info to be careful (and yes I know this could happen anywhere). Apparently after talking with others we know, this happens alot in Rome.

I read somewhere (and now can't find it again) that if we provide a pillowcase and different color sharpies, we can drop it off somewhere on the ship and the character's will sign them. Does anyone know where we drop them off?
