I'm back...Last month I spent alot more then I should have. But, still had 16 out of 10 No Buys Days. I can remember only spending $100 a month for groceries not to long ago. OMGish I miss those days! Plus, we did ate out of the freezer a lot:confused3

07/01 -0-:cheer2:This should have been an expensive day. We went to the beach and stopped at the casino on the way home. We won enough money to cover all expenses today...And even had a little extra.

07/03 -0-:cheer2: Another day at home.
07/04 $27.00 groceries. Nice day by the pool with DH, DD and a couple of friends.

07/07 $52.00 Costco's. Really spent $68.00 but my office will reemberse me for $32.00

So far, so good.

Groceries: still have $180/300 left to spend.

Non-essential buys have been good spends, not "stupid stuff."
$50 birthday and a graduation gifts
$ 3 slushie for me after 5 days of company
$15 eat out with DH after 8 days of company
$ 5 new bathroom sink (saw it at a garage sale driving home from
grocery shopping-- I've hated ours for about 5 years)

And one, slightly questionable one: new towels. Spent $78 but $56 of that was covered with a gift certificate. They are very high quality and all the company we've enjoyed helped me notice how shabby ours had gotten.

I have two good pieces of budget news today.

1. I sent in the last payment for my car this morning :cool1::banana:

2. I got a call for a job interview friday morning :cool1::cool1:

Congrats Charming!!

Debbie, a fridge is a great idea. I was able to find a medium sized one off craigslist for $40!

Yesterday was a $0 day because DBF showed up to surprise me again! I also made lunch for the both of us. Today, had lunch with some of my friends, but have enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

I'll be making the US trip on the 16th....so I've decided to up my budget to $150 to include food bought over the border and anything I buy in Canada, I record as usual.

:headache: I am way ahead of pace again for this month. At least I'm doing GREAT so far with the gas budget! :rotfl:

I went and looked back at my tracking and realized I haven't bought gas since 6/21!

OK, so I MAY have some online work coming soon, and I wrote an appeal letter to Unemployment yesterday. I need to get plane tickets for DS and I to go to Arizona for my nephew's Bar Mitzvah in November, but I'm not going to get them until I have Unemployment sorted out and get my last tutoring check. Everything should be clearer two weeks from now so I just have to hang in there. Thanks for all the good wishes.

Ok so after being really good for over a week I went on a spending spree today! Bought Teva Mush flip flops for Disney (after reading so many good reviews here on the Dis), new joggin shoes (never really had a good pair, thought it'd be wise to invest at least once), and of course gas. Why do I always have to wait until the day the price goes up to fill up???

I forgot that I need a dinner today....so had ended up buying smoe food on campus. I'll be getting gas later tonight, but I just need to record this now before I forget.

I'm really hoping the weather will be nice for the weekend!

Thanks for all the support everyone. It means so mucht o know I have you all for encouragement.

The air conditioner repair guys were here today and sadly out unit has gone to that big appliance field in the sky. It will cost a good chunk of money to replace it and right now it would cause a major strain on our budget. Luckily we have figured out a good system for keeping the house cool with fans. Hopefully I will get the job tomorrow and then we could replace it faster.

Anyways today we went out and got all of our groceries for the weekend. I am not reporting it here since it comes out of the vacation budget.

We did however stop for lunch and the consignment shop. I have gone down another pant size so I needed a few new bottoms to get through the summer.
