I knew nothing of specifics, but did hear rumors of one on the 20th. 4PM, you say, eh? It's a possibility. We're at DHS in the morning, but have 7:00 PM ADRs at Coral Reef. Depending on how DD4 is doing, maybe we'll head over and swing by. Is it kind of a "hang around a while, have a drink" type of thing, and by that I mean if we show up around 5:00, are people still going to be mingling around?

Any info would be outstanding, or point me in the right direction.....

Speaking only for myself, I have 7:40 something ADR's at Garden Grill, so I'm probably not going anywhere too quickly. If I remember about the meet. I put it on my calendar, so hopefully I remember to go.

My memory lately kind of reminds me of Dory...

TY for all the advice- talked to DH, he figured out that Disney was doing that differently now (literally minutes before I saw it on here... ) and SW didn't tell us that we were supposed to go online and do whatever to get the Magical Express booklet mailed to us.
So, he went and did it, and wrote all the info/conf numbers down, since we probably won't get it in time to leave.

These meets are nothing formal. They will last as long as anyone wants to hang out. I will tell you that most of this group is bringing a token fgift for each family representing where they are from (don't worry, I have western PA covered). Since it is late in the game, do not feel obligated at all - this is a completely optional idea. Not sure how many are doing it.

I think it would be great if you can stop by - this Board is very friendly and I would not be surprised if there aren't people still hanging out around 5pm, but no guarentees..... The gardens in England are back by where the toy shop is and where the band plays.......

Well we are down to 4 sleeps BUT our travel agents don't have our tickets yet!!!

It is my friend who is the TA and is telling me not to worry (yeah right) but every time we've been in she phones and gets told the tickets will be emailed and still no email!!!! I have to phone again today after 3pm! We are actually staying at a hotel at the airport on Saturday before our Sunday flight so leaving in 3 days really!!

Cross everything please!!!

I still can't decide what to buy for the meet! Dragged DH round dodgy Scottish shops yesterday - lol - the kind of shops you only go in if you are a tourist! Ooh there is some BAD stuff in there! How much tartan do you guys want? LOL!! I "think" I've decided what to bring but we'll see!

Oh and I broke my tooth last night!! :-( and can't get an emergency dentist appointment today, have to try again tomorrow! Oh joy! It's not painful and it's one of the back ones so I suspect it'll be coming on holiday with me broken!

Hello Everyone

Only 3 more days untill Disney. We will be leaving the house Saturday morning around 4:15 AM. One of my drivers of the company I work for will pick us up and take us to the airport.

That will be the last time I look at the name of the company I work for (Decals on the van) for 9 days. NOW!!! to make sure my clients don't call me, (HA ! HA !) I will record a vacation message on my voice mail and send out (I AM ON VACATION) message on my e-mail options.

Even though I did that last year, I still received 23 calls during my vacation from clients. The only thing I could say was SORRY! please call the office and my staff will in deed take care of you.

We are out of here!!!!!!!!!!

Our plans almost mirror yours too. We arrive on the 9th, leave on the 16th and will be in MK on the 10th and 15th and in Epcot on the 14th.

Amazing! Maybe we'll run into each other so we can say hello. I'll have a lime green mickey head on my bag. Have a great trip!

OK I am leaving Saturday morning and getting very antsy to go!!! I still need to pack for me and hubby, kids clothes are all ready... So it is just a matter of waiting and waiting and waiting.....

To make things pass quickly I will post my ADR's for fun and help commit them to memory!!

Hi! We'll be at Ohana at 5:30 on the 14th too! Finally someone with the same ADR! Just 3 more days! As far as your question, I'm sure you'll be hungry for a nice dinner on the 13th. We have ADR for lunch at Tusker House and then dinner that night at Whispering Canyon on the 11th. Have fun!

anyone concerned about the long range weather forecast for next week? I know a bunch of you will be there the same days as we will (July 12-19) and the forecast is calling for rain. Not just the usual Florida pop up thunderstorms, but steady rain. Thoughts?

I'm sure everything will go smoothly. I just had a though, somoeone correct me if I am wrong, but don't international passengers have to get their own luggage? If that is the case you wouldn't get ME tags. You can check on the transportation board about that.

Sorry about your tooth, isn't that always the way when you are leaving for vacation?

Haven't checked it yet, because I don't leave until the 19th. I wouldn't be too concerned, though.

RHMH here - What a small world, I broke a tooth during the July 4th Holiday and had to get a root canal yesterday. The tooth does not hurt anymore BUT the area around it is really painfull. My DD 11 told me to get it fixed before our vacation so I would not be GRUMPY during our vacation.

I guess I should buy more ponchos! I actually haven't been looking at the weather forecast, as I assumed it will just be hot! I usually stalk the forecast when we go in January because you never know what you will get temp wise.

This thread moves way too fast for me to keep up on! I had to search to see what the facebook group was!

I'm still in the packing process, and hope to have it all done Thursday night. We leave Friday after work, and we think we might just drive straight through. DH did ask last week, wondering what airline prices were... but then we couldn't go to Myrtle Beach. I'm actually looking forward to driving.
