My daughter is 7. Her name is Madeline. I know she will be happy to hear about another 7 year old girl. She is signed up for the club with her younger brother John. I am hoping they love the club so DH and I have some free time.

My daughter is 6 AND A 1/2...as she will point out......actually she will be 7 in August. She is our 4th child and only girl and it shows! Spoiled rotten princess...as her brothers will tell you, but she is cute, funny and loves to dance. She will be very excited to meet all the girls.

Let's get my DD (6) in with the girls. She is one of my clingy-est. (If that is a word) I have a better chance of dumping her, I mean dropping her off in the club, if she knows some girls to hang with. Anyone got a boy around 7-9 years old? Now let's see what I can do with the babies. Maybe they would buy that we are meeting there long lost Aunts Fran, Darcy, Jill, Anna etc... They are really cute and they only fight with each other. Any takers? LOL. Atleast we have 10 wonderful, joyous, quiet hours of Flounders to look forward to.

Both Ron and I are still around! It will take more than a round of drinks to scare us off. We are both swamped with work which will make this cruise all the more enjoyable for us! Ron and I will talk today and try to finalize all of our plans. We will post more on our best time for a get-together as soon as we talk. We look forward to meeting everyone!

With the list getting close to 100 and no docs in sight, I was starting to think the same thing. Yesterday I got an extra check in the mail for two days of subbing I did last month. DH said it was a good thing, because I'll need it to cover the cost of that first round of drinks. Good to know he's getting into the spirit of it all!

Excursion meet- That makes sense. We all meet some place on board right before we leave on an excursion so we can go as a crowd together! At least that way we have one more chance to call a ststeroom and wake up any late sleepers! I thought it was a chance to make sure we knew who the other folks were.

I did not sleep well last night, kept dreaming of who had a lime green shirts and when to wear it and so on. My husband said he only had lime green shirts with holes in them...I wonder if that means he is going to wear that one or would be willing to wear another one.

Amy, I have two responsible girls 12 and 14 who might get so bored that they might consider babysiting for an hour or so. And if you get to your wits end and need a BREAK give me a call. I will spell you for a while until you recharge your batteries. I have a friend that rescued me two times when my sleep deprivation had hit at the same time as the house was a MESS and my patience ran out. Been there, done that, if you need a break i'll help ya.

It is so exciting that we are still meeting people. Welcome. It caught me by surprise that the group was so large and it was so interesting to see the age breakdown. Our preschool teacher breaks it down by birth order and that is very interesting in phenomenon in a preschool class.

Saturday brings chores and graduation parties AND SUN!!!

Thanks Darcy. I had to try it. Did it work?

I cannot be placed in a birth order chart--don't even try. I was the baby until I was three, the middle child between the ages of 3-6, then my older brother moved out to live with dad and I became the oldest until I was about 12. Then my little sister moved out and lived with dad, so I was the only child until I was 16, then my mom had a baby and I was big sister/sometimes caretaker of him. Which explains why I'm so confused!!

Darcy...I have heard alot of people have dreams before going on the cruise. Do you think we are over thinking the whole thing.

Amy..If you get in real trouble with your kids, we can go for a double on the Crown and Coke. But......then who would watch them while we are in Diversions?????

My girls keep asking me if they can wear tank tops to dinner. I say no. But I got to thinking tank tops are so "in" these days and they come with little rinestones and lace. I am thinking Disney wanted to eliminate those baggy over sized "gross" ones we all see all summer long. Do you think those neatly fitted one would be ok with a skirt at dinner. I have been hardline no, but some times an element of doubt slips in and then I do think they would be fine. The layer tee/tank look is so in these days, at least in California. Have any of you been dealing with this? I am making them dress up for both formal and semi-formal nights because I need pictures for my Mom as a thank you for the cruise. Which night do Mickey and Minnie get decked out?

Back to packing....

I think we are well past the 15 pairs of shoes by now!! Do you think that 4 pairs of flip flops for me is too many? Ok, ok it is.......

It is great that everyone thinks meeting before the excursions (Canopy & Randi's) is a good idea. Dave, my flag will be red, white and blue. This is the 4th of July cruise you know Look for it. Hey all.... Sorry for not being around, but between work and the fact I leave wednesday to compete in the ATA Taekwondo World Championships in Little Rock, I have REALLY had my hands full!

As far as the get together goes, Do y'all want to do a night time thing, or an afternoon thing? I'd either say Monday at 1:15pm or Some evening where we don't have a show in the theatre... Lemme know what y'all think... David and I will order up some food from Room Service (that why I made it before 1:30 when they cut off the lunch service), but it will be up to you guys to bring any wine and such...

One thought for those of you whose relations are hesitant to wear Lime Green shirts... is Lime Green Baseball caps...? On the last cruise, a lot of the ladies wore beautiful long lime green dresses... you could spot the DIS'ers from a mile away!

By the way, I hope all of you are dressing in Pirate apparel for Pirate night!! I know I will be!
