So, who's going to DL in November? I made a reservation at the Paradise Pier for the Lilo and Stitch character breakfast on Nov. 12 at 11:30. There are 21 of us so far (Vanv family, our family, and vetswithpets from the DISBoard). If you'd like to join us, let me know or make your own PS and see if you can link it to ours--it's under my name (Anderson).

It would be fun to meet up if you can make it!

The checks were from Checks in the Mail. They were more expensive then the normal ones I get, but it was fun to do something original. Their website is citm . com and this design is called Picture this.

Hey all.... Remember me??? Things are just plain crazy around here with soccer, school, cub scouts..etc. Thought I'd take a minute and say hi!
Just to update anyone who was curious about my e-mail to DCL. I got a written letter back from DCL about a few problems I commented about regarding our REAS package and just letting them know that 3 out of 4 of my kids had strep within 24 hours of leaving the ship. (I just wanted to let them know about the illnesses so they could take extra precautions if needed) I was not so happy with the REAS though! (Our so called box of chocolates ended up being a box of Lifesavers, which I almost threw across the room when I sat down in my nice quiet room, babies asleep, older kids watching a movie, me, with my book and a nice box of chocolates...WHAT!! LIFESAVERS...You get the picture.... The second problem was with the breakfast in bed portion which our room sterward never gave us info on and by the time I realized we hadn't gotten it we only had our character breakfast and the next AM we got off the ship) They gave us a $200 voucher off a future cruise. I don't know if we can use it in conjunction with our on-board booking discount we are already receiving. The also gave us 2 $25 gift cards ($50 total) for the Disney Store. They were already used for our Princesses for Halloween. I have to say that I wasn't expecting anything and was pleasantly suprised with their response. Sorry I don't get on here very often but I keep up with your posts when I can and I'll check in when I can to say Hi!!! Gotta go rest. I was a volunteer at our AYSO picnic today and I got to do the "soccer bowling" booth so I got to chase, duck dodge and run for balls and then put the pins back up for each kicker. Never again in the bowling booth!!
I also found the perfect cure for "post cruise depression!! I changed our weekend escape to Vegas this December to a 3 night Baja cruise on Royal Caribbean with NO KIDS . It's no Disney cruise but I'll take what I can get!! Adios.. Take care all. Amy

Amy, I'm glad Disney came through for you! Congrats on booking your short December cruise! That will be a nice get-away!

Speaking of get-away's.......it sounds like ya'll have a nice time at the Nov DL get-together!

We were toying with the idea of going to San Diego this weekend (but I don't think it will happen). The boys have Monday off and Alan's taking Th, Fri and Mon off. He lost vacation days last year 'cause he wasn't able to use them and he's not going to let that happen again! Of course it was work that wouldn't let him be off, then they wouldn't extend the days. Anyway, Alan was originally supposed to go with his brother. It's "Triumphest" this weekend and Jim has 2 Triumphs (only 1 is driveable right now). Jim backed out awhile ago but Alan was thinking of still going to look at the cars.

Fran and Dave, how's the gymnastics going and Steven's Alaskan Fly Fishing?

Sherry, we're up to our eyeballs in gymnastics. Her competative season starts in JAn. Cross your fingers, since this is her first year as a USA gymnast.

Fly fishing is Alaska? BRRRRR! It's crab fishing..............but I knew what you were saying, I just felt like teasing yu a bit!

hi! everyone it's lisa! had to read for a while. have seen some of our cruise's posts on other subjects like the price increase of dcl threads ect. well the itinerary came out for dcl only till april, we still wonder {ha!} what will they do for the summer of 07? we will have to wait and see. our dd laura's band trip to wdw just got potponed from march to mem day time and now our little honeymoon idea includes our other dd alison. can't leave her home!! she actually will be studying abroad in perugia italy in jan! and my father is taking us over easter to italy!!! laura just sent in her application for early decision to gettysburg collge . pa. take care everyone talk soon lisa

Not much going on here. The rain has actually just started. We are looking at some wind and rain through the night, should not be a big deal though. They did cancel school for Monday because of the threat of high winds.

We got to meet up with Ron last night for Dinner. He was at Disney for a TKD tournement so we drove over for dinner. He had his girlfriend with him and she was really nice. We had a great time.

Hi all- I'm loving doing the substitute teacher thing! At least I'm doing my part to help pay for the next addiction (I mean the next cruise). Can't wait until we tell the kids at Christmas. I'll see some of you at DL next week (and wish we were going to see more of you).

October was the month for the Mommy Daddy Vacation away from the kids (not a cruise ) however it was great.

When we got back it was Halloween.

Now it is time to get ready for the November in Disneyland

I can't believe its November already! Where does the time go?
I can't make the breakfast, but would love to come over and say hi at some point during your trip! What other things are on your agenda?

We just booked a quick get a way to WDW for 12/4-8 with NO kids....yay!! I can't wait and have always wanted to go during the holidays!! We're staying at the Polynesion for 2 nights and Wilderness Lodge for 2 nights (we can never pick just 1 place...lol)

Yes, Betsy made the reservations. We've got a big group... your family, Betsy's family, ours, another family we know that's visiting from Arkansas, and Tim's brother Mike, Mike's wife Robin, and their son Kenny who turns 5 on the 11th. The family from AR has annual passes, so we may even be able to get an AP discount. Everyone is really looking forward to the vacation, and my sons are SO excited to stay at that "really tall hotel with a view of CA Adventure." The countdown is on... only 4 more school days until we leave!

Jill your trip sounds wonderful! We are hoping to visit WDW when we go on our next cruise.

Not much is going on here. Kelly starts her competative season in January. She and I are flying to Colorado Springs in January for the Pike's Peak invitational. Anyone from THAT area?????????

Sue...........I'll let you know about the teeth. I can hardly wait to take her for her check up next summer. Boy, will the vet be surprised!!!!!!!
