There will probably be some signage up in Canada, and Off-Kilter or one of the other groups there will likely make a mention during a performance, but other than that ... no.
Being a bunch of rowdy and patriotic Canucks, we kept the tradition alive when we were there. All of the Canadian CM's sang the national anthem at rope drop (with Off Kilter accompanying us of course), we set up face painting booths and made all of these maple leaf necklaces for the kids. We decorated the whole pavilion before we opened. We made a big deal of it, and from what I know, they still do. I think it depends on the managers at the time...but I know Doug is still there and he likes to let the Canadians go crazy. You might want to watch out for a band of bar hopping, red and white wearing, Canadian flag toting hooligans making a mess of Lake Buena Vista that night too. Just hope it's not International CM night at PI that night...watch out Disney.
I think I was the most patriotic I've ever been while living there...maybe I'll rent a movie this Canada day...hmmm? Just sounds odd...to celebrate Canada Day properly, you have to live in Florida!
