We got our documents today!! Just to let you guys now...so who's next?

Also, I think I'm leaning towards Capt Bryan's now. They will arrange for a videographer to be on the tour if they know customers are interested and I like the idea of going on a nice catamaran instead of a cabin cruiser. I'm sure all the companies are great, but Capt Marvins only has cabin cruisers.

Anyone know of a good place in Cozumel to rent ATV's? I heard Mr. Sanchos has them?

ATV $40 per hour
Tequila Seminar $42
Wave Runner $55 per half hour
Snorkel Glass Bottom Boat $40 for 2 hours
Banana Boat Rides $10 per person

They also have many packages available at reduced costs, combining 2 or more activities.

Where are our documents????? Glad to see some of you have received yours already. My sister booked through a travel agent and the agent called her today that their documents came. DCL fed-exd Friday with a 3-5 business day delivery. Hope we get our soon!

lancerguys, we live about 45 minutes away from Farmington Hills. I'm glad we can book excursions ahead of the cruise. I remember our first cruise waiting to drop our slips in the box that first day. If you know what excursion you want, you should probably book to be sure you get it. Did you book the Teen Fury cruise in Cozumel?

I think it's really a shame, especially since the people are doing in to their own city. thanks for the excursion advice. my brother and I want to do the Teen Fury cruise. I remember from last time a lot of kids met thru the party. I bet we will just book it ahead.

No documents here yet either Deb....maybe they are going - west, midwest, east..... So since the west got theirs we may get ours hopefully tomorrow or Monday and then the east coasters will get theirs after us???!!!! Good theory huh!!!

I haven't been able to visit the boards in a while, but when I took a quick peek this afternoon, I saw you all were getting your cruise docs! NO FAIR!!! I want ours! I just got off the phone with AAA (our travel agent) and they said the docs went out in today's mail, so hopefully we'll receive them soon!!!!!!

I've been so busy this summer with the summer swim team my dd's swim on that I AM READY TO CRUISE!! I need a vacation and I think this will be much better than calgon!

Congrats to all of you who have received your documents. My sister picked up hers today too from her agent. We STILL do not have our documents. I did call and get the UPS tracking number and checked the shipment at UPS. As of tonight they are in Ohio. The site says delivery to Michigan June 24th.
JUNE 24TH!! How can it take that long to get the documents from Ohio to Michigan? I could drive down this weekend and pick them up quicker!

Maybe the UPS site is over conservative and we will receive them tomorrow. At least I hope so.....

bothofus - Sorry for the delay in replying. Did you PM your kids' email addresses? If not, I would love to have them. Today was our last day of school, so now we finally have time to really savor the planning!

We lived in Wakefield for four years before moving to Andover. And we also don't feel like we've had a real summer if it doesn't include at least a week on the Cape! What a small world!

My current dilemma has to do with DS 14. I think he would love the teen Fury excursion, but wouldn't agree to go unless he knew someone ahead of time. I can't decide whether to book him on the family one with the rest of us, or just go ahead and reserve the teen one and assume that by the time we get there he'll want to go. Feedback?? Help! I'm a high school guidance counselor who can't figure out her own son to save her life!

Anyone else out there with DS14 or 15 and/or DD 12 or 13 who would PM email addresses, I'd love to hear from you!

I just sent you a PM with my dds' email addresses. I think the idea of having our kids email one another will really help them get over the hurdles/awkwardness of meeting peers while on the cruise.

Do you know yet how many bags you think you'll carry & check???

Will you be using those "cable ties" recommended somewhere on this board - to atleast tell you if anyone's been in your bag???
How do you use those confounded things??? I suppose it simply tells you if anyone's gone in your bag??? -- b/c if they have to go in, I guess they just cut the tie w/scissors ...anyone know???
BUT, then how do you get in once you're in your room - borrow scissors from your room steward? Are they really necessary if you're only driving to the port???

am i being too obsessive??? i'm ready to get packing!

CJ...I'm ready to pack too but dd has my big bag this week at camp that I am using for her and my clothes and this would have been the perfect week for me to start packing (although some of our clothes are still at the hemming lady). Heck - I'm just ready to go!!!!!

We still don't have our docs yet either...I am anxiously awaiting the call from AAA.

We have 2 very large suitcases that I'm hoping to pack most of our clothes in. Then we all have snorkle equipment, so that's another bag, and then our garment bag. I am diabetic, on an insulin pump, so I have alot of "stuff" to take that goes with that. (It usually never fails, I always have problems when we are away from home, so I will be taking all sorts of back-up items.) I'm sure that the bags will start to multiply when I start getting them together though! I've started getting some things together already too. I'm ready for July 19!

beanie - is there anything we can do while we are all on the cruise that will help you to "keep in check" so something doesn't go wrong???? I know we've never met but if there is anything that any of us can do to help you out so you don't get sick or something doesn't happen, I'm sure we'd be more than happy to!

Thanks December99 for the offer. I have had a pump for over 8 years now, I just have to pay close attention to how I feel and keep checking. It just seems that whenever we go on vacation, something goes wrong with my pump. I've had to call Tech support twice from Disney World over the years! This year I'm taking 2 old pumps as back-ups, but I hope that I don't need to use them.

We received our cruise docs on Saturday!! Now the whole family is getting excited... the summer seems to be flying by so quickly -- it will be here so soon. I just don't want our time on the cruise to breeze by as quickly!

We are finally having some sunshine here in NC. I have been trying to get the family out in the sun so that our skin won't scorch in the Caribbean! We are all so fair skinned that I would hate to ruin our trip with burns or sun poisoning
