JULY 19 Cruisers- Less than 3 WEEKS now Yipee!

We made it down to Orlando,spent yesterday at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure,and we caught the finale of the fireworks show riding Dueling Dragons roller coaster,great start to our vacation!

thanks for all the excursion help. we did decide to do the stingray city excursion in grand cayman that goes to the turtle farm. that sounds like a lot of fun. now, my dad has the idea to do the 7 hour ruins tour in cozumel. do you think it is worth it? it sounds a little long to me.

BTW, now that it is down roughly 6 days, is it still the plan for everyone to meet at the goofy pool at 3:30?

Weren't you signed up to do the "Teen Fury Catamaran" excursion too (if I remember correctly)? We did the "Fury Catamaran" excursion last summer and my DS13 was too exhausted to go on the "Teen Fury" excursion when we got back.

If you are signed up for the "Teen Fury" excursion, you might want make sure you'll be back in time to rest from a long excursion like the "ruins" tour.

Well, our summer of swimming has ended -- whew! We are all ready to go on this cruise -- we NEED it!

Has it been settled as to whether there will be a meeting of all the posters? when? where?

It will be the 5 of us: Rob- dad & husband, Bobbi-(me mom & wife, Haley - dd a few days shy of 15, Meghan - dd 13, and Chandler - ds 5.

I will be the woman with the black eye! I was hit in the eye with a team flag last night at our city championship meet! Of all things to happen before we are getting ready to cruise! My doctor laughed when I told him! He said he'd take my place! NO WAY!!! I'm going whether my eye is purple, red, brown, yellow or green It's shades for me...

BTW, my teens are doing the Teen Fury cruise after we do the family tour (ruins and beach)...

We are doing the ruins/beach thing also (the one that is the 7 hour) and dd is doing the teen catamaran. I believe dh asked when he booked that we would be back in time for the teen cruise or he wouldn't have booked it. So I am guessing we will be back.

And we are leaving in 2 days.......getting excited. Spend most of weekend ironing clothes and packing them (those stupid ziplock bag trick better work or I'm gonna be ticked!!!!).

I was also wondering if there will still be a meet at 3:30 at the Goofy pool. Hadn't seen anymore about it. We'll try to make it if we can.

Since we are down in Orlando and vacation has begun,I haven't been on the computer much-if any other families are up for it we will still try to meet on deck 10,overlooking the goofy pool at about 3:30,I know that day will be hectic,just don't know of any time that we won't all be running off in one direction or another with so much fun to be had by all!

YYYYEEEAAAAAA!!!!!!!!! Just a few more days to wait!!!!! This is gonna be the longest car trip I think we've had to Florida so far - just because of the anticipation!!!!!!

We live Thursday morning. In fact, about 48 hours from now we will be on the plane!!

I can't believe it -- we're leaving tomorrow! We're taking a scenic car route down to Florida. We're going to do some site seeing visiting places along the way...

I'm busy trying to get laundry/ironing done and we're packing tonight. Our puppy is going to the 'doggy hotel' in the morning and we'll be on the road by 2 PM. (hopefully )

We will try to meet up with you all 3:30 - deck 10 - overlooking Goofy pool -- can't make any promises.

We're staying at the Radisson at the Port on Friday. Maybe we'll see some of you by the pool!

Is anyone going to be wearing Lime Green ribbons or anything? I will have mine on my fanny pack and will have that with me most of the time I would assume.

Forgive my naiivity...but what are the green ribbons for????

Lime green, especially lime green ribbons, are used to identify DISer's either at a resort or park, or in other places where one might be looking for them. It actually works quite well.

We will be leaving tomorrow afternoon and driving straight through. We should arrive in Orlando first thing Thursday morning. We are planning on meeting you guys at the Goofy pool at 330. We will be wearing our "Pooh Gang" Shirts that have "The Farley Family Disney Cruise 2003" on them. (of course that is only if we haven't already shed them and hit the pool!)

I am so excited!!! The van is mostly packed. Just need to through in some last minute items tomorrow before we take off.

also, is the meet going to be at the goofy pool or above the goofy pool?

The meeting is suppose to be on the <b>10th</b> deck which is above the Goofy pool. The question is .... which side????

Maybe we should try to meet on the side that's facing the DCL bldg.? That might help narrow down a meeting spot, unless everyone will be wearing a lime green ribbon.

I'll also try to remember to pack some lime-green ribbon, along with the other bazillion things I need to pack!
