July 18 Tortola cruise part 3

Here we go again with the EoS! while I'm sitting here eating the worst shrimp lo mein I've ever eaten!:furious::furious::furious::furious::furious:

I got a picture of the group, but it is very dark....you've gotta wait till I get down to Greg and Marcy next year so he can post it for me:lmao::lmao:

If it makes you feel any better it was really busy.

Okay, it wasn't. It was actually really empty when we went, but it got busier later in the day, I'm sure. :)

I also got several free sample chocolates at Ghiradelli... Shhh... I've got a system. :)

Plus, I flirted with the girl handing them out, and she smiled and gave me an extra one. :thumbsup2

Definitely a good day at Disney and the water parks. :)

OH NO! Was it (hopefully) disposable?!?! Not that it makes you feel any better. I had this horrible fear that I'd lose all my pictures from the trip, and I ended up making double backups of them. :)

How many pictures did you lose?

Yes, thank goodness it was a disposible camera. all 27 pictures. Now no pictures of Mickey, Minnie, fish or the sub. Can I borrow someones??

thanks

We're on day 4 of salads. That antenna topper looks so good I could eat it! :rotfl2:

Great - I read on and you're mentioning chocolate... Now, I"m really hungry. Must be a good sign, I couldn't bear to even think about food until now...

was it still the caramel or almond...i actually declined the freebie this time, oopppss, just gave away our secret to the free dessert after EoS.:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1: Why don't 'ya just tell me what you had at EoS, Greg!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

It was the almonds for the past two days (I had several yesterday, too!).

And I always have the Earl's Club. Always. There's a rule I have about eating at the EoS. You either have the Club, or you have any other sandwich AND the Club. So when you're done eating the inferior sandwich you know that you still have perfection waiting for you.

I got so tired of trying the others and telling myself that I WISHED I'd gotten the Club (and then going and buying one so I didn't leave all sad), that I just buy the Club every time, now. I HAVE tried them all, though. You kind of have to. But the Club is really all you need.

And did anyone notice the new DTD stores? They've got a make-your-own t-shirt join, now, complete with photo op. Very nifty! :)

Sorry, I'm an Original 1762 fan! OK - I just looked up the official name of the sandwich online so I didn't have to say Roast Beef. There's an EoS not too far from the studio I work at several times a month. :cool1:

we start school on August 10th.

Asking for prayers for Nicholas as he has a minor surgery on the 3rd. Surgery is minor but with his lack of endocrine system thanks to the tumor and his radiation treatments knocking out his pituitary, nothing is minor anymore.

I've been doing a study about this phenomena, and I'm trying to link it to missing taste buds. :goodvibes

My brother has one near him in Tampa, and I always say that it's not the REAL EoS, and that he's getting inferior product. He says he can't tell the difference, but I'm sure there is one. For example, its proximity to Goofy's Candy Company makes the food taste more sweet, or something...

Although, I'm sure if given the chance you would eat at another EoS, purely for research purposes of course...:rolleyes1

You've got 'em! Keep us posted!

Perhaps, but I would undoubtedly whine the entire time, and pick everything apart from the service to the package that they used. :)

Enjoyed meeting everyone.... what a great group of people everyone was... and also wanted to thank everyone for the great FE's....
still putting them all away LOL!

.... didn't Darth Vader do a great job opening up G-Force?

Brunch was a lot of fun. Terrific group of people to share the experience with in the private room. Glad we were able to do it together. I can't believe we didn't take a group picture.

Palo Brunch? I think I broke the record of how many cameras could I take pictures with... I'm sure someone will post.....

We watched the sailaway party until the confetti canons went off. I told my DS I needed to hear the horn, so up to deck 10 we went. I got to hear the horn and watch the waving Mickey hands from the Disney building. And I took the traditional sailaway picture of my DS. I still wish the party was held outside. Oh well.....next time.

Greg and Marcy....what was it like to be on the Magic for New Year's Eve?

Also any tips for the Food and Wine Festival would be terrific.

prayers to Nicholas from the Williams family:grouphug:

Macavity: thanks for being our photographer!

mickeymo: wondering how many EoS there are in this world. Truly none close to the northeast.:sad1::sad2:

Hubby coming in from Dallas tonight, maybe. Severe storms predicted here tonight. He had the trip from "you know where" going down to Dallas on Sunday. He is trying to secure two free round trip tickets from the airline, and if he does, we'll be meeting 'ya at EoS sooner than next year, Greg!:yay::yay::yay:
