July 18 Tortola cruise part 3

Thanks for this.
It looks like I would have roaming in Tortola
Roaming:
Calls Placed/Received
While in British Virgin Islands AT&T Standard International Roaming $3.49
AT&T World Traveler $1.99
AT&T Canada $3.49
AT&T Mexico $3.49
But not in St. Thomas
Roaming:
Calls Placed/Received
While in U.S. Virgin Islands
Nothing is in the box?:confused3 Is that correct?

For those with Sprint.....St. Thomas is a covered call, no roaming and no different if you were calilng a neighbor. My DH worked in St. Thomas for 3 years and I also called yesterday to confirm that it still was a domestic call and it is.

Well I guess one good thing about it would be that your pirate chances on Saturday are excellent!:surfweb: What time do you plan to arrive at the cruise terminal?

I'm not sure... You'll have to ask Marcy for specifics. I'm pretty sure it's about the same time that the terminal opens, though. Marcy operates like a neurosurgeon when preparing for these things, and I'm pretty sure she could tell you what time we're going to be there within a five second window. :)

As for my pirate chances, I won't have anybody to help fluff out the post count... If you want to help, you're more than welcome to come over to my place and use my internet. :)

I kinda feel left out too. We are not leaving until Saturday am. Our flight leaves at 7:15 am, so that means we need to leave the house by 5:15, so up at no later tahn 4:14 AM :scared1:We will not be happy campers come sail away time! We need sleep! Someone pass the coffee to me as I walk on board..:rotfl:

Ouch! :surfweb: What time do you arrive?

If you take out anything "pink" I bet there will be LOTS of room :rotfl2:

The problem is, we could do it in two, but if we purchase anything, there woudl be no room in the suitcase for it.....

Do you have a really lightweight, thin dufflebag??? You could pack this flat in the top of one of the two suitcases. Then use it as a dirty clothes hamper in the cabin. Then if you buy anything (or the FEs go beyond what you brought onboard), you just check the duffle bag as a third piece on the way home.

That way you'll only have to pay the baggage fee for it one way. AND it'll already be packed and most of your dirty laundry will be in one bag to just drop in the laundry room when you get home! :thumbsup2

How's this for an arrival day schedule::scared1:

1: Wake up at 4am
2: Leave for airport at 5am (to avoid rush hour traffic peak that starts at 6!)
3: 6am arrive airport
4: 8am depart San Antonio
5: 2:15pm arrive Orlando
6: Get rental car
7: DH drops DD7, DD5, and me off at BBB at 4pm
8: Girls get dolled up for dinner with Cinderella
9: DH checks into SOG and drops luggage - purchases WDW tickets
10: DH Comes back to DTD to pick us up and get our Disney reward card
11: Take two DPrincesses to GF for dinner with Cinderella at 6:30pm
12: Collapse at Hotel (hopefully by 9pm)!

Sounds like us on Friday. We have a 7:20 AM flight. I don't know what I was thinking? It sounded like a good idea at the time. At least we shouldn't have that crazy ride to the airport during rush hour traffic. And hopefully it will be a quiet flight.:cloud9:

St. Thomas is considered US Domestic coverage if you have a National plan with AT&T.

That's what I thought at first.. But, after checking with the Travel Guide on AT&T's website it says differently, at least for my plan.

I'm jealous. With Verizon it is still roaming. I guess my DH will just have to imagine what we are doing.;)

INTERNATIONAL WIRELESS CARRIERS, COVERAGE, AND SERVICE

Network Carrier Coverage Available Services Technology & Frequency
AT&T For coverage information see domestic Coverage Viewer

# Voice
# Data
# EDGE
# 2-way text messaging
UMTS 850; GSM/GPRS 1900

* Available as part of your domestic wireless service. Rates may vary based on your domestic rate plan.

It's a confusing dialog box. The box at the bottom is for international roaming.

The best way to confirm is to call ATT - if you have a National Coverage plan then you are OK in the US Virgin Islands.

Damn...they must have a LOT of pink stuff!!!!

Define a lot...

Let’s see...

DD has a pink swimming suit

DD has pink shorts

DD has pink socks...

DD has a pink dress...

DD has a pink shirt (several)....

… and even a book that she is reading that has pink on the cover...

plus, I just noticed that her sunscreen comes in a pink container

I wonder what her obsession with pink is.

9: DH checks into SOG <snip>

DD and I LOVE the SOG..... have you been there sinnce they expanded? It's REALLY nice now.....and much bigger!

Please Note: I will not be posting on Saturday due to the fact that:

I will be on a cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you can cash a check on board. But only once and only for 100. I know because I did it at Christmas to have some cash while in Cozumel. I was awake insanely early for me this morning since it is not a work day. I just blame it on the excitement and knowing I've got to finish packing today because we leave tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

Lissa

Thanks!

It looks like I'll be getting some more Amex travelers cheques after all . . . .

Well I guess one good thing about it would be that your pirate chances on Saturday are excellent!:surfweb: What time do you plan to arrive at the cruise terminal?

We leave our house at 9 a.m., arrive at the port at 9:45, drive 7 blocks around the port until the gray-haired gentleman gives in and lets us through the gates, and arrive inside the terminal at 10:07.

:rotfl:

We know we're terribly spoiled by the ease of getting to the port, but this is one of the big reasons Disney has us hooked on their cruises. Plus, on the last Disney cruise we did, we ended up on the ship about an hour earlier than expected because they started boarding really early. I really do feel like we get a full 7 days onboard this way.

I kinda feel left out too. We are not leaving until Saturday am. Ugh. One year, I pulled an all nighter for work the night before the cruise. I finished work at 5 a.m., packed, and then got in the car for the port. I'm always a little panicked about a repeat of that one!

As for my pirate chances, I won't have anybody to help fluff out the post count... If you want to help, you're more than welcome to come over to my place and use my internet. :)

I'll always be your fluffer, dear.
