Just in case anyone was wondering why we (DH-BigAWL & I) appear to be hijacking the thread tonight - Our internet connection is limited for some reason and the only websites we can access: google, Disboards, Facebook & Amazon.com. No phone either (sorry Mom - no Sunday phone calls!).

So what better place to hang out than with the Mouse!!!!!!!!!

Don't mind spending Sunday evening with 'ya ......planning this cruise is the highlight of my life!

Hubby just informed me we DO get that TV channel....I only know a few channels, ABC, Disney, TVLand, Food Channel and the Travel channel.

I'm 100% guilty of promoting Hanna Montana to my DDs. Hey - it's better than a lot of the other crap that's on TV these days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Of course, DH probably figured it out when the girls were out and I was still watching HM.... )

OOOOOHHHH Disney character cakes??? I'd love to see that!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, no Food channel in Burkina.

Well, it's bedtime for me - actually long passed, but took my malaria meds last night and they have a tendency to keep me up the next evening.

how about something close to Saratoga Springs (to narrow it down) since a few of our DISers are staying there

I LOVE LOVE Earl of Sandwich but it gets really, really crowded - maybe not around dinner time, or we could have an early dinner.....did I mention I LOVE Earl of Sandwich...very cheap, and excellent - people could catch the downtown Disney bus
There is also a food court and restaurant at Saratoga Springs...i've never been to the restaurant but they do have seating outdoors and serve drinks and appetizers....i checked out the menu...nice appetizers, burger runs around 11.99, have other choices - I LOVE the way they have the menus on AllEars.net (if anyone wants to look at it)....you can walk there or catch a short boat ride to Saratoga.

I'll vote for Earl of Sandwich. Maybe it would be less crowded for an early dinner time sometime between 5 and 6.

Are you at the shore today or home? What's the weather like?

I was at the shore, hence the weird post, I had to use my phone b/c the Internet was ridiculously slow there......the weather was HORRIBLE this weekend, last weekend was so beautiful.....imagine this, I sat on the beach with the Rents last week and two horses came by! In the winter, with a permit, you can ride your horses on the beach! It was so cool.......anyway, Ken and went to dinner and of course, "gamed" a little, we had fun and came back today......state testing next week...... (I'm kidding)

My one dream cruise would be to see a launch while on a cruise ship - would be worth EVERY penny of that cruise......I've only EVER seen one, while we were at the Polynesian a few years ago.....brought tears to my eyes.
We watched it from the lounge at the Poly. I had a little boy standing in front of me, didn't know who he belonged to and he was yelling, I can't see, I can't see, so I picked him up....something I'll never forget.

Watching the food network....challenge - one chef making a Snow White cake, one making Pinocchio, one making Mary Poppins and the last Alice in Wonderland......
