I still eat Corn Beef on St. Patrick's Day. I can't stand cabbage though... Don't like beer either...

tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. our high school band is opening up the Today Show from Dublin!!! Our band was selected as one of sixteen US bands to march in the St. Patrick's Day parade. Once they found out the Today Show was going to be there they set out to land a spot! We just got an email from the Middle School director to say that he got notice that they were to be on in the morning!!!!!

We just watched the DVR of our HS Band on the Today Show! OMG! THis is the HS fatphil goes to and I teach in the district. It was so cool! They had them come marching out of a castle grounds with their cool Edgewood Ellettsville, IN banner and all. They had another segment where they came marching to Al Roker and he interviewed the drum major. I even saw one of my colleague's daughters who was carrying the banner front and center! I am so proud of those kids! THey worked so hard to get to Ireland, and to get on the Today Show like that was so cool!

Bob and Lucy can be available any time Thursday and will work around a meeting .....we will be at the Boardwalk with a rental car, getting anywhere will be no problem.

another thought....if people could get to SSR, there is a great lobby area with lots of comfy chairs for our short meeting , since MaryAnn and Lissa and maybe Wendy too have evening plans. The only evening activity we have is hoping to meet up with JoAnn #1, somewhere.....she doesn't know it yet , but we plan on invading her resort, and her room, because that is one and only place we've never stayed...so we want to see a room!
I know some of you are meeting for the Illuminations cruise, but I wanted to say hello to many of you before the cruise because I won't be at Disney Friday night ...I'll be at the airport, meeting up with Jenny and JoAnn #1's parents at the Hyatt.

Well, it is 10:00, i better get moving and do my errands for the day - I'll be working the next three days (7 AM!!!!!! to 3:30 PM) at the high school office.
(Lucy...no complaining.....$$$$$$$$$ for cruise! , right Bob?!!!! - my DH is a big lurker on this thread...he DOES know everything going on)

The Rents have booked their airfare, they are now working on booking the hotel but they do plan to travel down with Jenny and Lucy's families Saturday morning.

My kids are plotting to bring their BFs, we'll see how that goes....I haven't confirmed my Thursday plans b/c I may change them depending on which of my kids are there and when.......more info to follow........
