Who created the Mutiny on the Magic graphic in many of your signatures? Very nice!!

Middle School:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: are you crazy:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

JoAnn #2 - I saw that thread....I believe JoAnn #1 did something with her passports while getting a Starbucks coffee.....right JoAnn #1???:scared1:

Lissa - long time ago, when we only had ONE baby, and we used to drive to Florida, I set down my purse while putting the little one in a car seat and we drove off....down the road i remembered...the scary thing was, my husband put our cruise tickets in my purse so noone would steal them out of the car - my money WAS stolen out of my purse, the cruise tickets were still there (we were driving to Miami to pick up a ship)...will NEVER forget that!:sad2:

No, I didn't lose my passport...............a couple that was to sail on one of the Med cruises did that in 2007 while flying across the country............they were unable to proceed forward to their final flight to Barcelona so they rebooked their cruise and went home. They eventually sailed with me on our cruise in 2007....................that's a terrible story about your pocketbook! I'm glad it all worked out, how stressful........it makes me want to go find my passports right now!:guilty:

I can't remember but if you right-click it, add it to your pictures, you can add it to your signature......

There's a special place in heaven for middle school teachers! DH is one too. Those have to got to be the hardest years and DS is almost there.

definitely have extra angel wings.
your DS is ALMOST there....:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
all i can say is - I thought having a colic baby for a year was AWFUL......
that was a breeze...sorry for the news!

sorry, JoAnn #1....I just remember you telling us that story.:grouphug:

Jenny - a fly in that car.....there was hardly anything BREATHING in that car:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Thank goodness our cruise tickets were there! That happened about 20 years ago, and there were NO such things as debit cards, etc.....it was cash only. If I remember correctly, Lucy didn't get any souvenirs THAT year:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Everyone's is warning me not to take the "jump"...........we'll see, I probably won't pass the test anyway.................:confused3

Hey guys! I'm so excited - I've come up with a great FE gift! Now, I just have to keep it a secret for 4 more months....hmmmm. We'll see if that can happen! :confused3 :confused3 (I'm not really good with secrets. )

Big hugs to DH who is helping me pull it all together! :worship:

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I am in desperate need of a vacation!

Middle school huh? I can't handle 7-year olds - I'm going to be in big trouble in about 5 years! :scared:

Well, I was racking my brain to figure out what I might be able to do. I read the post on the main board about home made FE gifts and there was this guy who is cruising in July whose wife is making these really cool mickey mouse earrings for everyone! :cheer2:

Too bad they're not on our cruise! :sad1: So I thought, well maybe I could figure out how to make some cute little mickey earrings. But, while I'm crafty - inclined, I'm not always successful, and I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew.

I looked online to see about supplies - beads, glue, wire, posts, etc. Very quickly I realized that that idea required much more talent that I currently possess! :sad2:

So, then I started thinking about something that I was good at - I can scrapbook - but I don't have a lot of the materials here and it takes a ton of time - something that I don't have in abundance right now and will have even less of when we start trying to get ready to move. :headache:

Then I got it! I'm good at.............................................

HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M NOT TELLING YOU!!!!

It's going to take a lot more than begging to get me to spill the beans! :snooty:

:goodvibes

Ok, well, I haven't thought about it at all but............I think it's cool that you're planning so far ahead............I really want to start a box of stuff that I don't want to forget such as pirate stuff that's stashed all over the house (rather than buy it AGAIN).........so right after I find our passports, I'm going to start THE BOX.:thumbsup2

IF I pass, it will be a miracle..........very tough test..........however, I oddly enjoyed it..............anyway, if I did pass, I could become certified middle school math teacher which would broaden my options for job opportunities in my district should a position become available.............:confused3

Everyone's is warning me not to take the "jump"...........we'll see, I probably won't pass the test anyway.................:confused3

Why does Middle School and High School get such a bad rap?????:confused3 Actually I know why!!!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: and they deserve it, but I'd much rather teach both. It's the primary and nursery teachers who are my idols. :worship: :worship:

Mrs. G.....:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

my only comparison, with my jobs lately is:
High school cafeteria vs. elementary cafeteria:scared1: (where the hardest thing I must do with the elem. children is open their yogurts!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: )

JoAnn#2 - DON'T TELL US!:sad2: i love surprises!:cool1: I was joking!

Someone's nose is growing!!!!!!!!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

What a beautiful day outside and best of all NO SCHOOL THIS WEEK!!:woohoo:

I dropped the kids off this morning at church and headed to Starbuck's for coffee and a newspaper. I feel so much better!!!!:wizard: Now I must get that :laundy: done so I can leave on Wed. with a clear conscious!

As far as my FE gift, I saw something the other day, but can't decide yet. Do we have an estimated count??? I saw the list, but someone give me a number.....that will help me in my quest!:dance3:

I'm figuring one FE per cabin (I'll customize what's in it based on who's in the cabin) - so currently there are 19 cabins participating. I figure that number will grow as we get closer to the cruise, but shouldn't surpass 30 (I hope! - or I'll have a LOT of work to do!)

Okay, I'm definitely focusing too much on July and not enough on April! Bad Joann! :headache:

Well I think 30 should do iat this point

 Sorry JoAnn #2:hug:

For those of you in the States that have the DIY Channel, set your DVRs for an episode of "Project Xtreme" on the DIY Channel. On Sunday, March 15 at 7:00 pm EDT, they will be re-airing the episode showing the dry dock process that the Magic went through in September 2008

wait....what is a DIY channel? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

DIY = Do It Yourself

Is there a plan for a Thursday evening get-together in WDW? If not, I was looking at some options and thought I'd throw some out places if you all want to grab a bite to eat while we meet. Now, I haven't been to any of these places, but reading reviews has made me want to try them.

Over in Downtown Disney, a couple good places I've read about are ...

- Earl of Sandwich: supposed to have very good sandwiches for good value (no reservations necessary). Far east end of the Marketplace area.

- Raglan Road: Irish pub and restaurant with Celtic music entertainment (reservations recommended). Located on Pleasure Island.

Or there's the Boardwalk area...

- Spoodles: Mediterranean family-style place with good food and service, but supposed to be pretty loud inside (reservations recommended). On the Boardwalk.

- Beaches and Cream: for good hamburgers and ice cream. They say come early or late to avoid the crowds of pool goers. Actually this one is not on the Boardwalk, but at the nearby Yacht Club/Beach Club resort area.

Any other ideas and suggestions?

how about something close to Saratoga Springs (to narrow it down) since a few of our DISers are staying there

I LOVE LOVE Earl of Sandwich but it gets really, really crowded - maybe not around dinner time, or we could have an early dinner.....did I mention I LOVE Earl of Sandwich...very cheap, and excellent - people could catch the downtown Disney bus
There is also a food court and restaurant at Saratoga Springs...i've never been to the restaurant but they do have seating outdoors and serve drinks and appetizers....i checked out the menu...nice appetizers, burger runs around 11.99, have other choices - I LOVE the way they have the menus on AllEars.net (if anyone wants to look at it)....you can walk there or catch a short boat ride to Saratoga.

darn, i don't believe we get that TV channel...oh, well, my DH and I sailed on the Magic the day she came out of drydock....saw it all then.

Just in case anyone was wondering why we (DH-BigAWL & I) appear to be hijacking the thread tonight - Our internet connection is limited for some reason and the only websites we can access: google, Disboards, Facebook & Amazon.com. No phone either (sorry Mom - no Sunday phone calls!).

So what better place to hang out than with the Mouse!!!!!!!!! :cool1:
