WOW! It was in the mid 50s today - I actually opened windows. They said it may hit 70 by Tuesday, I'm trying not to get too excited - we will probably get a foot of snow on Easter Sunday .

I've thinking all day about possible FE gifts. Have a couple of ideas.....

four hours ahead of the East coast. We don't have daylight savings time, so during the winter we are five hours ahead.

That, of course, means that I am almost late for work on a Monday morning.

Yeah, I try to check in every now and then... If its not one thing its another; Work, landscaping, vehicle maintenance, taxes, bills, cleaning, hurricane repairs, laundry, cooking.... I think I'm ready for a vacation now

If anyone is interested, STS-119 Space Shuttle Discovery launched last night. It was supposed to launch the Friday before but got postponed due to a faulty fuel line. Last night it went off without a hitch, beautiful launch right after sunset, and the only problem they've seen so far was that there was a bat living on the side of the external tank for a few days... they saw it fall off during the launch... Poor bat had no idea what it had gotten into...

Thurs. night we're going to make dinner ressies at Citricos or Narcooses, (not sure which yet) as we have to use up our dining credits. We fly in early Thurs., so maybe a quick meet Thurs. afternoon before dinner?

Don't know yet. We haven't hit the 90 day mark. We are aiming for around 6pm. I hate that they changed from 180 days to 90 days for dining.

If it keeps raining here I'm going to need a boat to get to work. This is my last week with my students in a way this morning was sad but I'm so excited for this new job.

3pm on Thursday would work for us. Anywhere is fine as we drive ourselves everywhere and do not use Disney transportation . I'm not patient enough to wait on a bus when I'm ready to go i want to go besides using the buses with a wheelchair is a nightmare.

this is what I was doing on my day off today (besides making shamrock cookies for the family) - looking at pictures of FOOD on DCL.....yes, my name is Lucy, I'm addicted to food, namely Mickey bars, Mickey waffles and the rolls they serve on the ships! scary isn't!

Tomorrow, in this university town, it is NASTY! The bars open at 6 AM and serve green beer - let me just tell you, by the time I USED to go to work at
7:30 AM - kids were already getting sick on Main Street (don't picture it, it isn't pretty!). The kids skip classes to drink this green beer! We used to have many a drunk kid in classes. I blame the bars - they encourage the kids to do this, by opening the doors in the morning.......at least I know my 22 yr. old isn't doing 'that' - he can't possibly get out of bed at that time of day!
