Welcome to our latest cruisers!

My dd11 is on her 2nd day of being home sick; We're in the 24hr no fever window, so hopefully, she'll be able to go back to school tomorrow. She has benchmark testing tomorrow.

I'm about to run out to see ds14's 2 mile run in the track meet. It's his first entry in the 2 mile race. He prefers the 1 mile. I hate watching the 1 mile just because I have to wait the entire meet to see him run in the 2nd to last race. I enjoy talking to the parents, but it drives me crazy to wait!!! I always liked running the 2 mile - get it done and over!!!

Nice to meet you too. Small world. On a cruise 2 years ago at the first Dis Meet, my DS said he went to school with this one girl. I knew the family lived in Harford Co. MD so I didn't think that was possible. Turns out the family was divorced and she did go to his school. There were other crossovers too on that cruise.

Finally got my packet today. We get stuff so late from our post office.

About a month before our cruise 2 years ago we found out that a family from the same school my DD went was on the same cruise and just one deck below. Wouldn't that have been funny to run into each other on the cruise?

Finally got my packet today. We get stuff so late from our post office.

We got ours last week. We were a little disappointed that the excursions weren't listed. Last cruise it was so each just to mark them off in the book and pass it from person to person to narrow the decisions down.

We finally got our packet yesterday. As we have cruised before, there really was no new info in it. They could have saved the postage. I agree, they should have put the excursion info in there instead of sending it separately.

Good grief y'all! I take one day off to try and feel better (got a horrible chest cold after I got home from Germany) and you guys take off at the speed of light! I had to read through 4 pages of posts!!!!

Welcome to the newbies! This is a fun group! But whatever you do, don't confuse JoAnne #1 with Joann #2 - they will get very angry with you!

Still waiting for the cruise packets - probably another week or so for us. Of course, without the excursion info, not sure what excitement will be included - except that it's a Disney planning doc, so we are that much closer to setting sail!
