Totally weird, isn't it? We get our packets on this cold and snowy day!
I thought they'd list the shore excursions....never happy, is she?! (Lucy that is) - I know everything that is in this packet, but it is still exciting to read everything again and again and again! Happy day to everyone!

I had hoped for shore excursion information, too! Looking on-line can be tough to compare excursions. I have 3 packets I have to send up to Chicago to the rest of my family. They all came to our address.

I would call member services.......my parents booked like you did but they're away in Florida right now, so I don't know if they have their packet.......love snow days!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we did less than two weeks ago and got the packet this past Saturday. I would give a few more days though.

My family (DH, DS 22, DS 17) LOVEs cruising also, and we LOVE anything Disney....been so many times can't remember the number. We are DVC members for the last 4 years and use our points each year. We met two other families on this sailing thru the DISNEY cruiseline in Mexico in 2005 and have become wonderful friends. I LOVE meeting DISers!

This will be our first cruise with just the 3 of us, no other families. I am hoping that Emily will find someone to pal with. Is that an acceptible expression? We will be staying at AKL after the cruise until Monday.

Yes, after reading the thread I see Lucy is the talker. I'm a good listener I have always loved the name Lucy. I Love Lucy, While You Were Sleeping...

Last year we went to Disneyland and did the Mexican Riviera Cruise. To tell the truth we would go anywhere on DCL.

As far as loving Disney we are so alike. I have a MM Chandelier. Need I say more?

Welcome Susan! I'm Melissa or Lissa and I'm traveling with my mom and my brother all adults.

Since i was stuck at home again I've been working on door signs and t-shirts for my family to wear at WDW. I also researched excursions when looking at Tortola I saw the dolphin swim which what we want to do but not the observer. My mom refuses to swim but wants to go and watch. Is anybody able to see where they offer the observer excursion. I guess I'm going to be calling DCL again.

Usually i have a few generic door signs about pirate night, castaway cay, and other events that I use over and over again and then I make cruise specific signs about our destinations. For t-shirts this trip I making use six each three for our pre stay and three for our post stay. Usually i only make one or two but i was bored.

I think we found someone to make ALL of our fish extenders

Susan - the funny (?) thing about the FE (hope you join us?), I've never done one on all our cruises...and jlwall put ME in charge of organizing it.

I can't sew, never could, never will.....this should be a great challenge (my husband is GREAT with stuff like this....of course I'll let him make me one!)....
we do NOT own a sewing machine, let alone a needle and thread!

Don't tell John (LOL) for the past four years I was the Music Boosters VP and Pres at Emily's school and was the one that made all the treats and surprises for all the kids (200) for spring trip. Just call me 'Mama Reed'

Would love to join you. Question: Why do you call them fish extenders? I figured it had something to do with the fish outside of each cabin. Warning! I am blond but by choice and from reading this thread I gathered they are like 'swaps' term from Girl Scouts.
