I've made that walk of shame into the nurses office, head filled with mommy guilt... The last time, I barely pulled into the driveway from dropping her off when my phone rang...

Back from the orthodontist. Need to go back next month for 1/2 an hour to have the retainer "adjusted". Looks like another 6 months of wearing it.

Haha - poor Lauren has it worse... Dad a Doc and Mom an Nurse practitioner - if it's not bleeding and you can move it - it's ok - if you're not throwing up - it's ok - fevers - that's what Tylenol and ibuprofen are for.....LOL

Where is everyone?

Everyone in our house is SICK!
Tyler and I have horrible stuffy noses, he has a sore throat and cough.
I can't stop sneezing - I think it is sinusy things....2 kids were really sick this past weekend and we all got it.
BUT, get this, my DH has pink eye - where in the world does a grown man get pink eye?!
WAIT - I believe we have a doctor and nurse practitioner on here...
diagnosis, please
Tyler and I are avoiding 'dad' like crazy - we do NOT want pink eye - Tyler is in his last days of school, he just can't afford it. 2 more full days, 3 half days, and he is DONE!

Tomorrow night I'm hoping to meet up with Joann and her family, her daughter Jess is in a soccer playoff only 20 minutes from my house
I'm hoping her husband has a present for me from this past weekend's trip to London

It's going to be a long day - DH (John) was at the door at 4:00 this a.m. to San Antonio with the Technical Director from church. John is the video ministry coordinator and together they are interviewing a few veterans at the VA hospital for our Freedom celebration the Sunday before July 4. I can't go back to sleep.

It'll be an even longer day for him - he was up at 4:00am yesterday, too to catch a flight home from Chicago.

Document Dance!!!

After missing the UPS driver twice, frustrated and angry with the voice recognition system to reschedule for Monday, the UPS driver called at 5:15 yesterday to say "I will be at your UPS store in 2 minutes can you be there?" DH grabbed his keys and was out the door before I could even say "Yes!!!"

Not sure who I love more right now - DH or the man in brown...

DL here we come!!!

We are going to NYU tomorrow. There is a science festival and there is a seminar with an imagineer. Lucky the dinosaur is going to be there. It's been 2 years since we saw him at WDW. I can't believe Matt talked DH into going. He used the educational aspect to convince him.

Just a quick hello!!! Been real busy around here. Mom is being released from rehab next week and we're preparing for a live in aide.

Hope everyone is feeling better.

Did Lucy and JoAnn ever meet up????

YUP! Lucy (DH Bob) and JoAnnie (DH Ken) met up Friday night Her daughter played well....the "refs" didn't!
Took JoAnn a Starbucks - knew she would need one, traveling all that distance to see Jess play and then quickly had to go home again, to a retirement party (NO FEAR - she will be buying me the first 'sailaway' drink....ah, yep, Lucy will be reminding her, right Joann? )

Everyone is approving in this house, with their colds, pink eye, etc. - the rest of the stress has not been improved....enough of that!
Only three more finals for Tyler and we are DONE!

We LOVED Disneyland, was there in 2005 - when we met our Diser friends.
Stayed at the Grand Californian....GLORIOUS hotel. Loved the fact that you could walk to DL and CA. Then it was 7 days on The Magic - must say, that was a wonderful trip

Oh, NO "princes" from Joann's husband (don't 'ya just love that William and Harry! ), but a beautiful tea book.
