Hmmmmm. Go on a field trip or teach, field trip or teach...... Honestly, I'd rather teach any day of the week. I hate field trips. You would think it should be fun, but I spent most of the day making sure everyone was accounted for (the parent guides would be chatting among themselves, while the little darlings were wandering somewhere), trying to keep everyone in one place while waiting for the bus, dealing with someone who forgot lunch or had no money, or someone who lost something they bought. Oh yes, I'd teach any day of the week.

Well, around here, our youngest DD is about to graduate.........we are definitely "winding down" even though we have about 5 weeks to go....it's so exciting, it's our 3rd graduation but what a time, I still remember what fun we had when we graduated!!........

I'll take any special event at this point in the year, the kids are done and it's so hard to keep them interested...........

Good Morning All!

I hope everyone had a good weekend - ds13 played at the University of Houston Music Festival Friday afternoon, Saturday went with the band to the water park. dd10 slept over at a friend's house on Friday and I didn't see her until dinnertime on Saturday.

Sunday, we took the kids to the pool and then celebrated Mother's Day with friends and a big pile of crawfish! yum!

It's getting close to the 1 year mark - it's time to get serious about WDW plans! We're leaving for California as soon as school is out - DL plans are set - but, still have to finalize our San Diego plans. I can't believe, I'm skipping over that to think about WDW...

this week is show choir tryouts for next year
tonight is dance auditions (thank goodness he knows the song, from being in show choir right now)
tomorrow night is a spring concert
thursday night, more rehearsals
next wednesday night another performance
and then next weekend our show choir adjudication trip to Ohio
Did someone say we have nothing to do?

Weather was horrible yesterday and beautiful today, you just never know around here in the springtime.
I'm afraid I'm still sneezing , now I'm counting the days till the first frost (NOT!)

I'm following the blogs from the Panama Canal cruise on The Magic (the one we were signed up to take, but needed to cancel), it is fun to see the pictures.
FOURTEEN months, will we make it? I was sitting looking at all the old pictures we have from Disney cruises, especially the year we met our DISer 'forever' friends

Ok, well my DD21 just left for Rome tonight and my oldest DD23 is in London right now.........my baby will graduate in 4 weeks; we have some soccer playoffs for HS coming us this week; wish the "baby" luck this week!!!
