Hey, thx for asking, Lucy & Bob not only came to my DD18's game, BUT THEY BLOCKED ME FROM ALOT OF CRAZY SOCCER MOMS!!

I've been in charge of a few of my youngest DDs teams this year and what a wild ride it's been!

We will come up with a DISmeet this summer, I promise! My oldest DD23 will be interning in NYC, so we are coming to the city!!

I hope, Mom's okay, Maryann? I'm sure that's been keeping you busy, when's school over? Have you talked to Sallie?

At central time noon and eastern time one on Sunday 6/8 on the travel channel there is the Disney cruise line show.

the countdown sounds GREAT!

I know Joanne is planning graduation parties, homecomings, etc. I'm so thankful the horrible heat is over for her (poor girl still in school teaching too).....we are headed for Cincinnati this weekend (visiting DISer friends we met on the 2005 cruise, along with JoAnn - poor JoAnne and Jenny - they just can't get rid of us after 3 years )
It will be an approx. 8 hr. drive, seeing two baseball games, Saturday and Sunday (Cincinnati vs. Boston)....it will be fun (just seeing the gas prices along the way! ).

At least our Disney trip is getting closer (and we are VERY thankful we made airline reservations with AirTran a LONG time ago)....our family just LOVES being at Disney and it is going to be a very FUN trip this year - going and staying at Universal for three nights, then on to the AKV for 4 nights and BWV for 5 nights. Also hoping to visit with JoAnn and family, they will be in Universal before their cruise, while we are at Disney.....Our family are TOTAL Disney freaks and have owned annual passes for years, we DID arrange our Disney trip thisyear so we could use our annual passes NEXT year before our FABULOUS cruise. ONLY FOUR MORE SEASONS.

I watched those also. I was particularly interested in the ResidenSea ship. You buy a cabin (more like a condo) and it's yours. I'll have to check out how much they want for one. LOL

I've teased my dad for years that he needs to retire on the ship so that we can visit !

how are we passing the seasons until our cruise? We're 2hrs and 3 days from DL! We're spending the week in San Diego and then meeting DIS friends from our 2006 cruise at DL. They are on the magic now!

Even though it will feel strange at first, you get used to it very quickly. One day about a month or so ago, my mom was in rehab and our son was in Boston. I looked across the dinner table at my DH and realized that it was the first time in about 30 yrs that it was just the two of us in the house. I must admit I have been enjoying our special time together. My mom is coming home today and we got a live in aide starting today so my life will be very different. Hopefully it will all work out. I'm very nervous about it, though. DS will be moving to Boston in Aug to follow his sweetie (soon to be fiance). It certainly has been a year of change....................

Thx Maryann! You have company of a different sort! The rare times that Ken and I have been alone, you do go back to your early marriage years which is weird but nice. We've running like crazy for so many years, it's just strange for us to entertain ourselves.......we'll see how it goes!

As of tomorrow, I'll have at least one daughter home for the next 3 months....................

I know you won't read this till you get back, BUT we are located very close to Lancaster - I am SO SORRY we can't meet up - as my DISer friend JoAnn will tell you, I LOVE meeting people before my cruise and getting to know everyone.
We just got back from Cincinnati last night (hanging out with another very close DISER friend we met along with JoAnn in 2005) ....what am I trying to say? it NORMALLY would be possible to 'run over' to Lancaster (about 1 hour away from our house), but since my husband just took vacation days for Cincinnati, he is back at work today.

Like i mentioned above, we just spent 3 days in cincinnati, a GREAT time was had by all - attended two Cincinnati/Boston Red Sox games (my son's favorite team is Boston - why? I don't know, I am a total Phillies fan ). We did drive to Cincinnati - 9 LONG hours on the road, it was very tiring.....we used to drive to Disney all the time, 19 hours, but NEVER, ever again at these gas prices!
My husband is totally stressed this week - he is directing a high school musical (not OUR school district this time)and the show is this weekend....best to stay away from him this week till this show is over ....

Well, that is all about Lucy, how about everyone else?
