That's who I've read about on other websites.

Who wants to contact this company with ideas so we aren't all doing it?

Ok, I just wrote an email requesting rates for our group. If everyone agrees, I asked for the Baths in the morning and then visits to Great and White Bay in Jost Van ****. There are fun places to visit on both islands (Foxy's in Great Bay and Soggy Dollar in White Bay.) If there's anywhere else people want to go, let me know. I've also snorkeled at the Indians and I've heard there are pirate caves, you can check out in that same area. We need a head count............my group is 8.......who else is interested?

i don't think this would work for us.
Bob will take Tyler (17 yr. old) to the Baths in the morning, don't know how yet, and then HE wants to go to the Soggy Dollar, maybe with the older son, but after bringing tyler back to the ship.

I just signed up for a tour of Torola, by myself, I want to see the island.:cool1:Please let me know if anyone else is going along.:confused3 It is the "Island Drive and Beach Break ($39) and leaves in the morning, returning at 12:30. I'd be back on the ship for Tyler and then Bob would like to go to the Soggy Dollar.

Wait till you hear this one, DISers.....Disney LOST our PALO dinner ressies - we wanted to take our 22 yr. old (his request - he has never been old enough on the other cruises) to PALO, and when my DH looked at our ressies today, they weren't on our confirmation. He called. Nothing they could do....:sad1::sad1::sad1::sad:

Oh, and JoAnn #2 - I also cleaned out clothing this weekend - 4 HUGE garbage bags going to Goodwill, but, in MY case, I can't wear the clothing anymore.....they somehow shrunk in the closet in the last few years:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Thanks JoAnn for setting up the email and for all your suggestions.

Since we are the only cruise ship in port that day, we might get better rates and options. I like they they pick you up at your ship in their boat a lot of the times.

If it's possible to for the charter to come back to the ship for the PM portion, I'd love to join for the soggy dollar and any other beach in the afternoon. I think I could convince DH to let me go if this is a possibility. Gracie will be down for a nap and when she gets up, I'm sure they'll all head out to the Mickey pool.

My goal was 20 lbs. I'm only at 15, but many of my pants are really baggy, so I've been ordering one size smaller as I see sales, but still wearing the old ones because I don't want to take them home anyway and I don't want to wear out the new ones. After three years here, most of my old clothes have really taken a beating.

Of course, DH isn't helping my cause! :headache: He just brought me a dish of homemade ice cream with fresh mangos!!!!!

BUT...He said if I'm good for the next several weeks, that I can go to the soggy dollar if the PM charter option is workable. :thumbsup2

Speaking of Palo's.... (Sorry Lucy! :sad1:) Make a beeline to the ressie desk when you get on. I'm planning to be there early, but don't think they'd let me make a reservation for you. :sad2:

Have we heard about the group brunches yet? When should we get confirmation from DCL??? :confused3

We've heard they got our request, but we won't know until 30 days out if they will give us a time for the room. Someone said to also check for the room once on board because they often have openings for the room. (I read they hold back the space for officers and other special people.:confused3)

But we're special people.

Good Morning All!

Maggie's swimming portion of her birthday party was a rain out :sad2: We tried, but there just wasn't enough of a window of time between storms. I took the girls for ice cream and then they played around on Maggie's present, a Wii fit.

John and another dad put the crawfish pots to boil under an umbrella;dinner was still on schedule. The clouds and rain moved off just about when the adults and brothers were to arrive for dinner. In the end, the rest of her party was fun.

Hello all.

This is going to be our sign for our meet. What I would also like is everyone to give me their stateroom numbers, so that I can "slip" these under your stateroom doors on saturday night for info on sunday morning. This info on this sign is approx, but can change if Dorothy doesn't get us Studio Sea or 10am. So, please over these next few months, post your stateroom numbers.

Thanks a lot guys!

Who watched the DISNEY MAGIC in dry dock yesterday on DIY? It was really interesting! They showed a lot of behind the scenes cleaning, updates and repairs.
