What time do you arrive in Barcelona? We weighed our luggage and one peice was way over weight and one was close. So we just shifted things around and got them within the limits, according to our scale. I have a feeling that tomorrow is going to go by slow. Have a good day at work tomorrow.

Hi Kathleen, We arrive around 8:20 Wednesday morning in Barcelona. I am hoping we don't have a long wait at the airport and get to the port terminal early. I know we can't get on until 1pm, but it would be great to be there, just in case. What time do you arrive?

We arrive at 11:05 am and will head straight to the MAGIC!! I didn't realize we could board at 1:00, I just assumed it was earlier. Maybe we won't be as late boarding as I thought.

Yes, I read we can't board until 1, but can check in starting at 10. The guests staying at hotels I think arrive around 1. My sister said that her transportation information says they are picking her up at 1230P.

Hi all! Family left Saturday and I have had two birthday parties to go to with the kids this past weekend, plus last minute shopping, washing, cleaning, gift buying, ughhhhh! I need the plane trip to calm down before we get to the ship!!! We are down to six hours and counting before we head to Tampa to stay over and fly out tomorrow. I am soooo excited, but soooo overpacked!!!

I can not wait to meet all of you, and have our very first Disney cruise with such wonderful people! I am sure I will see some of you Wed. morning checking in as we get in at 7:35 a.m. Is anyone planning on doing anything for breakfast, or before we can board? I don't mind waiting around, but I am afraid the kids will get really hungry and will be so excited the behavior will be less than stellar!

I will try to sign on again before we leave on our flight. See you all soon, gotta go buy 8 more gifts!

Hi Diana, Ben and Kathie,

I think we may be the only ones left. This day is going by soooo slow. I am ready to get the show on the road, if you know what I mean. Our fellow dissers are either flying over now or already there enjoying Spain. We got our dr's appointments done, both kids have clear ears so hopefully they are good to fly. I am doing a load of laundry right now. This afternoon I am going to get a mani and pedi and the kids are going to a friends house to play. Tonight my dh will mow and the kids and I are going to the YMCA so mommy can exercise. Then we just need to organize Dh's backpack that he is carrying on. Do you think we will be able to sleep tonight? I am like a kid in that way, I can never sleep good the night before a big trip. I am too hyped up. Hope ya all are having a productive day!

Yep I think we are the only ones left. We have 11 hours before we leave for the airport. I just got home from work to find my house a huge mess. Children are in there cleaning right now. I know they read this so they better be cleaning and off of the computers.

I spoke with my sister about 4 hours ago and they were in JFK. They are now enroute to Barcelona.

Diana, We are supposed to be arriving at Barcelona around 820am. I am hoping Disney will take us right over to the port terminal. I wonder if they will have anything at the port terminal to eat just in case the kids get hungry?


I will check with you later to see if there are any updates.

Hey guys,
We get in the car for Dtw in about 9 hours....then we should be arriving when some of you arrive at 10:30...
But as someone noted you can start checking in at 10am...so see ya after a while....I truely think I will have the last state-side thread....I will check in the am before I leave...I can't believe I have been going steady since....4:30am...actually to be honest its a fairly normal day for me...anyhow got my 27 items off my to do list and off we go into the wild blue yonder!
DW asked me to charge her ipod so she can listen to Dean and Frank serenade her on the way to the airport! Soon I will be signing off until my return. I checked Internet prices and its just way way to high for me to take time on a dream trip to sit in front of another screen

Looks like this will be my last one from home. We leave in 6 hours for Las Vegas to board our flight. Our flight leaves at 7:10am PT. I will try to log on in Philadelphia to see whats new, if anything.

5:20 am .... went to bed late last eve .... I can't beleive the amount of bags we have sitting in our room. We normaly pack for holiday for us and 6 kids in less luggage! But then again we normaly pack intended on doing laundry at the condo and less any 'formal' wear. We just got our paper work from ups yesterday...ha! Good thing my DW kept up on excursions via the web. Well I really need to try to go back to bed and nap for an hour or so....I need to call the post office. My brother sent me Euros in the mail and I need to see if its at the station yet....this should be among my more interesting dealings with the po.
I am going to check before I head out here...but I think I will be the last state side post. Oh yea....my DW is sounding ill with her cough..so she starts meds as soon as she is up and out of bed!
You'll see us in Barcelona - we are the middleaged couple with like 6 bags and giggling like kids without our 6 kids -
Hey they get to go on the Wonder in Sept - this ones is for all those crazy late nights with sick kids, for all those school programs my DW has endured and to remember the countless countless memories of unexpected joy, pleasure and happiness these 25years - Man oh man did that seem like a long time 25 years ago...but it has moved so fast and I feel more connected and in deeper love that I ever did back then - dude I was just a kid!
I have no idea if anyone is even going to read this or not but I am beginning to feel the moment and I love it!

Helloooo from Barcelona!!! We are here and thrilled beyond belief!

Arrived Monday afternoon and nice hot weather for sure. Today (Tuesday) was very pleasant though, maybe around 80 degrees, sunny and a cool breeze.

Our time has gone by fast here. We have enjoyed LasRamblas and I would recommend the area as lots of fun to stay and experience in.

I intend to start a trip report on Cruise Trip Reports and will hopefully get the first installment up shortly. Looking forward to meeting you all on board the ship tomorrow!

Hi Everyone, We are in Philadelphia!!! Flight from Las Vegas was delayed a little, but we made it. We have another hour before we board and head to Barcelona.

Glad to hear some have logged in from Barcelona. We can't wait to get there.

I spoke to my sister and my younges niece's bag was lost. They are at the Grand Marina and no clothes for her. At least she is easy to buy for. I sure hope they get her bag before we get on the boat.

Well going to check email and get ready for the next flight.

Can't believe that we are already on this ship for 2 nights already.

We did London and had a blast. Got to Barcelona and met son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter at the hotel. Yes, my son did get his passport (got it on Friday for a Saturday flight.) We didn't know since I didn't have internet access during the time in London.

Got to the ship at noon after a great cab ride to the port. At Topsiders shortly thereafter.

Went to cabin at 1:30 when they let us go to them.

Nice Verandah (just down from NZDisneymom here on deck 6), Just as I remember it from the last Magic cruise.

We are currently in Palermo. Took a loooonnnnngg walk to the center of town and got back about 2 PM. Unfortunately the internet wasn't working at that time so couldn't get on. Same problem yesterday. For those that are coming to the ship, the internet connection is a bit unreliable.

Unfortunately, since I didn't get on this site until after arrival at the ship I missed the DIS meet. Shucks.

Oh, well, I'll probably see everyone at some time or the other during the cruise.

Well, we were until today (just kidding about the today part.) They ran out of Vanilla Soft Serve Ice Cream on the ship and all they have left is Chocolate. I don't like plain chocloate. What to do??????? Guess I'll have to get my vanilla at dinner. Oh, terrible days, having to wait for dinner.....

Weather has been absolutely fabulous here but hot and humid. Amost 100 in Rome yesterday. Showered a little today at La Spezia but it's now sunny, about 80 with humidity but a great breeze.

If you take the Rome trips, make sure you take a bottle of water with you. You will need it to keep yourself hydrated which is very important at any of the tours. You will also be able to refill with "mountain spring mineral water" at any of the Rome fountains (this is the only city where you want to do this.)

Hope you have as great a time on your August trip as we have been having on our July trip.
