Quick question. We will be celebrating my brothers birthday while on the cruise. We would like to do something special for him at dinner that night. Does anybody know if they will do anything special? I know to arrange something at Disney I call dineing. Would I call the cruise line number or something else? Thanks!

You can take care of it with your servers after you are on board ship. They sometimes catch it themselves as all KTTW cards are encoded with birthdates on the cruise. But we have mentioned to our servers for two celebrations - once for an anniversary and another cruise as college graduation gift - and both times they brought out a yummy cake.

What a great way to celebrate a birthday - on the Med Cruise!

Yes, my family and I are DVC members - in fact we are cruising on points for this cruise...an obscene amount, but we feel it is well worth it.

I must admit the cake they brought me for my college graduation celebration was fabulous! Absolutely yummy and beautiful. That will be lots of fun for you to partake with birthday activities on the ship! If you don't eat all of the cake, they can wrap it up for you in tin foil shaped like a swan for you to take back to your room lol. Luxurious!

Three months from tomorrow and we'll be sailing! Three months from today and we'll be in Barcelona!

We got a DVD from DCL over the weekend - it is pretty good - entertaining for the kids and we loved the segment with Louis Von Drake going over what to remember and what to do. Anyone else get it yet? I didn't realize that US passports have to be valid for 6 months after return... not a problem for us as we just got them in 2005, but still, we'll have to watch the kids as they are good for only 5 years for any future travel plans!

DH and I are embarking on a 15-lb-weight-loss journey (I need to lose way more than that, but 15 is a good number). Tomorrow is our 15th wedding anniversary, and we're leaving on July 15th to head for our cruise and we have 90 days, so 15 lbs will fall right into the 1 - 2 lbs a week healthy weight loss range. So y'all hold me to it, ok? I told the kids that if I lose the 15 lbs, I won't have to buy a lot of new clothes and we can use that $$ for excursions... plus then I'll have room to bring 15 lbs of souvenirs home with us (hee hee). They said it would be 15 lbs less to worry about causing the boat to sink (they think they're so funny )

Anyway, I have my print out of all the excursions we want to book starting Thursday - and I have them all saved on my "wish list" online so if I forget to take my paper with me to work, I can still do it. Anyone know what time they "open" to start taking the excursion reservations?

And in answer to a previous question, we're also DVC owners - joined March 2006 and added on in December 2006.

Three months today and we'll be sailing!

I never got it DVD from DCL I Hope to receive it soon?

About diet, it is hard for me as I supposed to be lose weight last two months ago. As it was hard, I only lost 4 lbs that is all. Not good enough. I wish I have a strong willpower but I am afraid that I have none of it. I try again and I want to lost one stone as it is 3 months to go now.

I would like saying HAPPY 15TH ANNIVERSARY.

Same with me and I am nervous about tomorrow, I don't know why although I heard brunch palo are fast selling out and some cannot get excursions what they want. Finger Cross, I hope everybody get what they want.

I think your time is 3.01 am? as my time will be 8.01 am? DCL emailed me and told me that my times will be 3.01 but i think 8.01 am, I will up early morning to checking it at 5.01 am, if not, then it will be 8.01 am.

My family and I don't have DVC owners as we never heard about it until other friends told us.

Yes, you can book excursions at 3:00am, Eastern Time. So adjust from there. I hope everyone gets what they want! We should start a list of what excursions people are doing and see if any of us are on the same ones. I remember awhile back when we discussed it I saw some of the ones we booked mentioned so I think it would be fun to know if any of us will be together.

Hope everyone is having a good day. Happy anniversary nz! Ya'll are so lucky you can book your excursions tomorrow. I'm afraid by May 4th there won't be much left and my mom is refusing to get off the ship unless we are going wiht an excursion. UGHHHHH I feel like I'm in limbo between waiting for the DVC stuff to go through so that we can book a mini trip in June to waiting for the cruise I'm going a tad bit nuts. Sorry about the complaining today has not been a good day. Thanks for answering my question and birthday stuff. We are hoping to make his birthday really special.

Happy Anniversary Nzdisneymom.

I also have a list of my excursions both 1st and 2nd choices (just in case) and have saved them to my wish list ready to go. I believe we can book at 3.00 EST so that will be 08.00 for me. Losts of luck and pixie dust to ixiedust: to everyone I hope we all get the excursions we want.

I will post a list of my booked excursions later tomorrow as I will have to leave for work straight after booking .

Oh my - thank you all so much for confirming the 3 AM time. Dang, if I was on the west coast, I would just stay up til midnight... but as it stands, I have set my alarm clock for 2:52 a.m. and will leave the PC on and at the DCL page so I'll be ready to go quickly! And then go back to zzzzz if I'm not too excited to sleep!

Hi Everyone-

I am back. Hard to believe that this "journey" started over 12 months ago. I also will be awake at 2:00 am central time to plan our excursions and more importantly our PALO meals!

Cindy- I belong to Lifetime Fitness but NEVER work out. Monday I finally joined "Team Fitness" to tighten up and lose weight for the cruise. The class lasts 12 weeks and ends the day that we leave for Europe (July 6). I will try to help you stick to your diet so that we can eat all we want and gain it back on the cruise!

This morning, I find wee bit difficult for booking the excursions. I had to calm down, let looking at it again. Finally, I got it.

I have booking :

Jumping Back into External
Stunning Sorrento and Amaifi Coast Drive (2 of us)
Florence and Pisa
Marseille and Little Train - fine for the kids
Evening Casino (2 of us)

total of price

(also booking the Monaco, the Marina Little train but still 50/50 with it.
Can cancel it within 2 days (can anyone help me - before on the cruise 2 days or on the cruise can cancel 2 days before) I am confused)

Brunch Palo - could not get it later on first day as don't want early one.
I booked it on last day on sea at 11.30 am.
