11 days!!! I need to phone our Cocoa Beach hotel this week to check they still do the parking voucher for the Port. I emailed the seafood restaurant FishLips about booking a table for my family on Friday eve, but they haven't got back to me Guess i'll phone them. So excited!! The drive will suck though - about 9 hours from North Georgia I think.

We went to Wdw for the first time about 2 years ago so we haven't seen all the new stuff! I brought the idea up to the hubby and he said it was a great idea! YES!

I know we have some families who signed up for FE some time ago and havent been back posting and I just want to make sure everything is still correct. A few details... if for some reason DCL changes your cabin number or you upgrade at port, please let other group members know ASAP by either leaving messages on cabin phones or by dropping a note in their fish extenders. I will also print a list of the groups and post it on my door in case someone forgets or if someone has a change they can update the list on our door (7514).

Everything is till good with us! We are so excited! Can't believe it's less than two weeks away!

With 6 people in our party, we need an SUV. I found a rental company at PC for $150 with drop off at MCO. We are hoping to make it to DIsney Springs for lunch and then back to the airport. It beats sitting in the airport 6 hours!!!
Any good recommendation for lunch?

We are renting a day room at the Hyatt on disembarkation day. We will also have about 6 hours and decided it was easier to do the onboard airline check in and not have to deal with bags. Kids are looking forward to swimming in the rooftop pool and relaxing. We rented a car the other two cruises so we will see how this goes.

I've been teary at sail away our two trips as well. I totally hear you!!!!!

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one who gets emotional on sail day.......I will have multiple episodes of tears also!

Silly question. I don't drink, but I like bars. Any ladies want to meet at the champaign bar or something one sea day for an hour or so?

My husband doesn't like bars, my son is 20 and my daughter is 17. So sometimes I go by myself and look silly while I sip seltzer water and gaze longingly at groups!

Count me in......I bet my two daughters would join in also.

Hi everyone! Two weeks from today we will be on the ship!!! How is that possible? So very exciting!!! So I know we talked a little before but what are peoples pre and post cruise plans? When are you arriving and what are you doing? Please check in, I know we have lots of people lurking, I'd love a quick check in from people!

We are flying in Thursday the 14th and staying two nights at art of animation. We will be at magic kingdom friday and then are doing a private transfer to port in the morning saturday. After we will fly home later that same day. I have to work sunday!

We're leaving St. Louis on Wednesday, and after an overnight stop in Atlanta, we'll head to All-Star Music for our Thursday night stay. We're going to Ohana dinner on Thursday night, and exploring Disney Springs on Friday. We'll head over to the Port on Friday night.

Headed back to St. Louis when we get off the ship.....we plan to stop to spend the night somewhere and will get home on Sunday. Back to work on Monday.

Looking forward to meeting everyone at the Meet Up!

Hello Ruth! So excited to see a meet thread! I'm guessing you mean July 16 though yes? If so we are also booked on this cruise!

We are a family of 6 and next summer kids will be DD14, DS 11, DS 8 and DD 5. We are from Iowa. This will be our third cruise...we did the Dream in June 2013 and just did the Magic March 2015. Both were such wonderful trips we couldn't wait to go again so rebooked and settled on this week!

We will definitely be in for fish extender exchange and are SO excited to check out the Fantasy and the Eastern ports!

We had no trouble using a card in Cozumel and Grand cayman last year. We bring a little extra for tips but not much.

Cash for excursion tips and if doing an excursion with food / drink available at a beach we have found at beach places you need cash as they either don't take a CC or you wouldn't want them to take your CC
