If it's a Disney excursion they will have them available to take either at your meeting place or as you leave the ship. Non Disney you can grab off the pool deck. I can't remember if you can grab them leaving the ship if non Disney. But definitely you can take them!

Does Disney provide towels at Castaway Cay? I'm assuming they do, but you never know. I just really don't want to pack beach towels.

No need to bring towels they are provided for the pools on deck, excursions and at CC. Someone referenced as well that if you are going to a beach on your own just grab towels form the pool decks.

When are you arriving and what are you doing? Please check in, I know we have lots of people lurking, I'd love a quick check in from people!

We are flying in Thursday the 14th and staying two nights at art of animation. We will be at magic kingdom friday and then are doing a private transfer to port in the morning saturday. After we will fly home later that same day. I have to work sunday!

I know we have some families who signed up for FE some time ago and havent been back posting and I just want to make sure everything is still correct. A few details... if for some reason DCL changes your cabin number or you upgrade at port, please let other group members know ASAP by either leaving messages on cabin phones or by dropping a note in their fish extenders. I will also print a list of the groups and post it on my door in case someone forgets or if someone has a change they can update the list on our door (7514).

We are flying in Friday am and staying at Kadani. Upon arrival, I am jumping in the pool until 5:30 pm, and then we are eating at Saana! And back to the pool!

Taking Disney transport to the port. It might be our 11th Disney Cruise, but I might start crying when 1) we get picked up 2) we see the Fantasy from the bus 3) we step thru the gangway and on the ship 4) when they announce our name.

The best best best moment for me, however, is the horn at sail away and then when I watch the ship leave the channel, look up at the coast for miles, and we hit the water.

Yes, it embarrasses my kids, but I don't care!!

Silly question. I don't drink, but I like bars. Any ladies want to meet at the champaign bar or something one sea day for an hour or so?

My husband doesn't like bars, my son is 20 and my daughter is 17. So sometimes I go by myself and look silly while I sip seltzer water and gaze longingly at groups!

I know - two weeks! We plan to saddle up early on the 14th too. But we'll drive from Maryland. We have a couple of nights in Port Canaveral at the Marriott, or one night if we decide to take a two day drive. Post cruise we'll visit relatives in St Augustine and Orlando and then make our way back north.

Sorry you have to work Sunday! But then again, we all need something to vacation from - work provides that. The very next thing I did after I reserved the cruise was set up my Out of Office reply for the day leave starts, it made me very happy.

Checking in from flight that is about 1-1/2 hours from Sydney Australia.
We arrive the evening of the 15th and staying at the airport Hyatt and then taking private car service to the port. I think I posted about our family's crazy travel the past month including DD being in San Diego with FSIL. By the time I see her on the 15th it will be 8 weeks since seeing her (longest time period to date) so not only looking forward to the cruise but getting the whole family together again - even knot head (FSIL)

2 weeks from today!! It's going to fly! We are moving in 7 days (after living with my in-laws for 2 months) and have to get settled and semi unpacked before we leave. This vacation is going to be much needed when all is said and done! CAN'T WAIT!!!

All day I've been saying, "two weeks from today at this time, we will be....." My husband was happy to hear "eating all the shrimp you want from the buffet."

So, as I'm typing this -- two weeks from today at this time, we'll be on our way to our "Guest Assembly Drill" -- wooohooo!!

Now that we're locals, we can drive over to the port. That is very weird to me, but I think I'll adjust. We're going over Friday night and planning on a seafood dinner.

Two weeks from today I will have a frosty cold adult beverage in my hand and admiring the one Disney ship we haven't been on yet - the Fantasy!

We are staying at Jambo House for a couple nights before the cruise, then will be self-driving to the Port (after stopping for Starbucks). The cool part of this trip is my aunt is taking her family on the cruise as well (11 of them in total!) so we will be joining them for meals and some random wine tastings!!

I'm looking forward to putting together all the FE gifts together over this long weekend. It will be a great way to get into final countdown mode!! Only 5.5 more days of work for me!!!
