My husband actually suggested it hehe. He also asked about Marilyn Mansen (SP) Can you tell I don't listen to that stuff? I didn't really find too much about MA. So what you get does represent my idea of MA.

O my gosh...what a cute family! If you go to myspace and search Terrence Lake my DS15, you can see a picture of our 3 boys. They are wearing black and laying in a pile of leaves..It is our picture, but you can't really get into his site since it is private. I will try to post a picture.

oh my gosh I am going to be soooo late to work.. At least I'm still semi injured for an excuse...

My DH says it is so easy to drag a pic..I will see if he can do it.

There were all these cute Scottish names floating around when I was having kids. Spencer's middle name is McLain, b/c there was some handsome basketball player in the paper called McLain Lawrence and I just thought it was the coolest name ever. Then there was this football player in town called McKay Christiansen so I liked that too.

Oh if you are really bored. Terrence has this youtube video of him singing at his high school Spring Concert. You go to you tube and search tlake280. He's singing some Jesse McCartney Beautiful Soul song. I'll be making (encouraging) both boys to sing at family karaoke.

Well I am off for my 11-5 shift.. I did get some goodies this morning. Have a great day. I am completely Italian on both mom and dad side. I thankfully married a mutt. He thinks there is some Irish, English, Scottish..."something like that"..isnt that such a DH response... on his side.

Can I ask for folks opinion on Nassau? I'm getting a little worried about some of the things I've read. Getting hasseled by street vendors is NOT my thing

LOL - I forgot you found me over there on the photo board! I did not buy a battery for it. They scared me off the generic ones - that's what I was thinking anyway. And I really think that the one I have lasts a long time. I haven't had it on a trip, with so much use in a day, but it does seem to hold the charge for an impressive amount of time. I decided to cross my fingers and hope for the best. I guess we'll see!

I think we are planning to stay on the ship in Nassau. We might get off to walk around later in the day, mostly so Brynne could say she set foot in the Bahamas, but there is not really a whole lot to do with a little one. Dave and I visited Atlantis once, and it was nice, but not something I feel the kids would love, especially since we wouldn't consider the water park. If we didn't have two scheduled stops at CC, I might think of paying to go to a nice beach. You can politely turn away the vendors, but there are always more. I wasn't impressed with the immediate shopping area at the dock, but didn't really see anything more further away, other than Atlantis. I think it sounds like a good chance to use the pool while most people are on shore.

By the way - what a gorgeous family you have! I sent you a link to some photos of us. I debated sending you a montage about SeiJin's first year home, because it has some pictures from Disney World last year, but the whole thing is about 10 minutes long, and that is a bit obnoxious to send to people who don't know you!

Are you mostly packed, yet? I can't believe it's almost time!

I'm throwing things in cases as we speak!

I have another Award Cermony to attend at school this afternoon for Robyn, but hope to get back to finishing my FE and my door signs tonight.

I think we might be the same where Nassau is concerned...a quick trip ashore to say we have been and take advantage of a quiet ship.

I'm sticking with one battery too so fingers crossed. The girls both have their own cameras and I have my little Sony Cybershot so we have loads of memory and rechargeable batteries for those. That should do us. Although I did manage to take 400 shots in Barcelona in 4 days last month! Its was fabulous. Hoping DCL do the Med in 2010 and we can just hop over to catch the ship at Barcelona. Maybe we will rebook whilst onboard.(but don't tell Allan I told you!)

The photo of us was taken last November and I feel Robyn looks older now. Allan and I had others taken including one I call "Fab at Forty". I'll see if I can post it.

Please DO send me SeJin's montage. I have loads of time to spare and my girls will love to see it.

I had (and loved!) my Sony Cyber shot, but it was starting to be questionable - some pictures blurry without reason, etc. But I am so afraid I will miss it in Disney World! I loved having it in my pocket and it was so easy to use. The Rebel is my dream camera, but I need to take a class to get full use of it, and it definitely doesn't fit in my pocket. Funny that we both had that one, too.

Thanks so much for your kindness..forgive me for being in such a fog. A good night's sleep and I am set to make my list for the day and attack it. We have a family picture from the same time, but we'll see if I can get it out.

I tease the boys that they were smiling well since Terrence had been asked to prom by the photograper's daughter.. Yes..keep making a great impression son! .Oh Jen if you are reading this...his prom date was adopted from Korea herself...

Oh yes, there are the "brotherly moments" DS 15 has already told DS13 that if he has a group of friends on board, that DS 13 needs to back off. Oh goodness...this will be fun

You asked about scrapping?? Well I do and we have a wonderful shop here. I find it therapeutic. My pages seen very plain when I compare them to what is posted on the boards here.

Last week I had just had it with my work schedule and completed 3 pages despite being very late in the evening. I dont understand the digital stuff yet.. DS13 is actually very artistic so he completes his own Disney pages. It will be something he can look back on...

The cruise ship has a wonderful scrapbook packet for purchase

Oh...your kids are younger, so I'd just skip it this cruise if I were you. You can spend a lovely pool day on board and maybe catch a movie..DH and I took 2 cruises prior to kids and went to Nassau both times. Your DD13 will be tormented by women wanting to braid her hair into corn rows which would take hours even if she were interested. I think they braid hair on the ship anyway. then someone will ask your DD's name and start carving it into some wood sculpture . We passed on it, but this time I'd like to take the 3 maybe for just an hour, walk through it all so they can see a different place, march straight to the Hard Rock Cafe and buy some T-shirts that say "naussau" on them and return to the ship. My luck my DS13 will want his hair braided just to look cool

Well I got a little sleep after 16 straight hours of work... My husband has a Digital rebel and he loves it. A couple different lenses etc. It's the memory he has problems with. Charges his battery constantly. Lets hope he can find it for this trip. The battery not the camera

I forgot I have a niece who is turning 14 in August but I can't sneak her into my bag hehehe.

As for Nassau, I don't think we're going to bother. Last year we didn't get off the ship until Castaway Cay. We took advantage of the quiet ship and watched Ratatouille (SP) This year they should be showing Wall-E... Can't wait.

Well gonna start my FE today. Bought some nice material over the weekend. Not worried about the body but I am with the pockets. What were your dimensions?

Guess what... It's my Bday today and I'm going out for Lobster tonight Mmmm
