Hopefully this will work!
This is DH Bill, me Chris, DD Erin (11) and Colin (9)
We're in the homestretch!!
Chris

Have no idea if this will work, I'm making an attempt at posting a photo....uh oh.:rolleyes1
send me the photo, and I'll post it, or I can post one I have (probably wouldn't be the best idea).

Hey, does Ian have an old tie that Calvin could borrow? Or should I bag it? I'm sure this is the one and only time he'll need to wear one. Being only 7, he can get away with a button down shirt.....can't he? You can tell our family never dresses up!

And in case anyone is worried, Ian does have a tie for Calvin!

Yesterday was Ian's birthday so I've updated my sig: DS15, (also changed DS to 13 a couple of weeks early).

Just did my first run at packing. How could we possibly need that many shoes???:confused3 I made the kids line them up against the wall so I can look at them for a few days, surely we dont need that many! But we might, who knows.

Anyway it was fun to finally start packing!:cool1: The trip is almost here.

LOL!!:rotfl::lmao: I just made a "list" yesterday of shoes that would be needed in an attempt to consolidate. We'll see how THAT goes!!

Discovered today that Kamryn (DD) needs a new swimsuit - the one she wore to a local pool/beach area today is "too tiny in the hiney"!!!:eek:

I am glad next weekend is a holiday weekend (which also makes this week a 3 day work week for me- :woohoo:) - something to do may possibly, hopefully make the time go faster!!!

Hi,
We just booked recently and while not new to Disney World (We have been 3 times before)- We are new to the Disney Cruise. I am traveling with my DD 16 and DS 14. I have enjoyed reading all the posts. We can't wait to set sail on the 11th.

Hey everyone,
I have been stressing out so much:scared1::scared1:! We are flying out tomorrow night
I didn’t end up getting the FE done because ive been freaking out because two days after we get back Im going into my schools boarding house.. so itll just be magnets for us!

My dad said I need to decide whether I want to be in OQ or The Stack…
Does anyone know if there are more dis kids in The Stack or OQ..?:confused3
Im thinking of going for the stack because im 13 and in 8th grade, which is my second year at HS… all my friends are 14 and 15 and im used to being around older kids :confused3

I'm not sure where the majority of kids your age will be (OQ or Stack), my DD 13 will be in OC, my DS 15 stack. If you go to the dis meet on the first day, you should be able to find out and try to move up to the stack if you want to. I'm not sure how firm they are on the age for the stack either.

Have a safe flight!

Howdy and Welcome Aboard!! :welcome:
Thanks for shouting out and we know we speak for the whole group in saying we’re all glad to have you along. If you can manage the time once you get on board the Magic, we’d love to see you come out to our DIS-Meet and get to know the other members of the group and maybe give the kids a chance to talk to some of the other folks their ages. The “Meet” will be in the Promenade Lounge (Deck-3 Starboard between Lumiere’s and Parrot Cay) at 3:00pm, about an hour before the Lifeboat Muster on the day we sail (July 11).

Now, while we’re at it, as the “unofficial” keepers of the DIS-Members lists, would you like to post first names for all the members of your crew or possible a cabin number if your planning on displaying magnets. I’m sure that when our “official” nametag maker runs across your post she’ll be asking for names as well (especially if you plan to come out to the DIS-Meet). ;)

Holler back with any questions and we look forward to running into you on the ship. :goodvibes

Hi All! Just trying to do a little catch up since school is finally out! I was thinking about making a magnet for our doors but I am not very artsy-crafty NOR very computer savvy- soooo just how hard is it to make these things? I don't need extra fancy, just thought it would be nice for our two rooms to have magnets (maybe a passing disser might stop and say hi?? -lol). Also, we will be taking DCL transportation from BCV and fear we may get to port on the late side. Do you know how long the dis "meet" time will last? We will need to check dining, unload carry-ons and eat lunch when we board, but being greedy STILL want to drop by to say hi! I can't believe we leave next week- it seemed so long in coming. And I don't know about you all, there is still so much to do here first (we leave on the 9th for a 2 day pre-cruise stay at BCV).

I made our magnets by printing the designs on photo paper and then adhering to magnetic paper. A few of them are also printed on photo type magnetic paper directly.......mind you I REALIZE they are not designed to last forever since they are not laminated, etc... but it was cheap (sorta) and easy!! Most of the designs came from the design thread :surfweb: :wizard:.....and I few are personalized.

With the way this pre-holiday week is going at work , I am going to be WAAAYYY ready for next week to get here!!:yay:

Add to that the fact that I have a clogged up ear that is giving me fits.....:headache: but I have some meds now for that so hopefully it will be on the mend very soon!!! It's very irritating to hear only muffled sounds out of one ear!

Thanks, Special K's Mom- we might try that (as I said VERY computer challenged but maybe with DD help , well we will see-lol!) :grouphug: for your stressful work week (I SO know about THAT one, I LIVED at/for school the last few weeks!) hope your health issue clears up quickly too!

Hi!,
Thanks for the welcome. We are looking forward to meeting everyone! Hopefully the plane will land on time (10:30) and the shuttle traffic will not be too bad.
We are staying in cabin 6533 and I do not know if I will have time to do a magnet. I will see! Wish I heard about this all before, but it was a last minute decision to change the week at Port Orleans to the cruise.
My name is Robin and the DD 16 year old is Julianne and the DS 14 year old is Josh.
