Julie's Jolly Journey (posts welcome)- I'm back...

Hey Julie!

Just stopping by to see how you are doing. Has that headache gone away? I hope you are feeling better soon!!!:sunny:

Carol

Oops- I was sure I had already posted in my journal this week:confused: Must be dreaming about this place:eek:

Thanks everyone for the well wishes- I am feeling much better- made myself get out for a couple of walks-not sure if that helped or prolonged the agony, but I'm back:Pinkbounc

I lost 3 more pounds last week, so I'm heading for a new clippie soon. I have been adding time to both my walks and treadmill, and it seems to be picking up the weight loss pace. The new jeans I bought last week are now loose! Too bad I took those tags off already. :hyper:

On a sadder note, looks like the WDW trip is off, I did not realize DD's junior prom was that weekend, and DS's school picnic. Probably better anyway, I'll just plan a family trip and not have to carry the guilt around with not taking the kids.

Have a great one-

Just a quick Monday checkin- will try to get to journals tonight.

I'm happy to report - I have lost 5 lbs this week. :Pinkbounc :bounce: Not really sure how, I have been adding time to both the outdoor walking and the treadmill, so that must have helped. Of course all the stress at work last week may have helped too!

So, I have a new clippie, and I have now lost a total of 30 lbs since starting this "healthy plan." ( I was gonna say diet, but that's a no-no. )

I have been sticking my points, I can see onderland getting closer and closer. :sunny:

Have a great one-

Way to go Julie!!!!!:jumping1: Congratulations on the 5 lb. weight loss! That is one bright, shiney, new clippie that you have!:smooth: With your hard work and determination, you'll be :moped: into Onederland soon!

Have a great week!

Tracy:wave2:

Hey Julie!

5 lbs. in a week is great! Don't you feel wonderful about your hard work paying off?!?! :flower1: Keep up with that exercise!! You are doing so good!

Carol:D

Just a quick check in-

Thanks for celebrating my new clippie Tracy- I am so happy Onderland is getting closer and closer!

Been a busy week this week again and have not posted much, I have been trying to catch up on journals today.

This week was ***skip this part Dax*** TOM, so not sure how much I've lost. I'm gonna do offical weight in on Monday 4/10 so I can finish off the Mother's Day challenge. *****You may resume your reading Dax.

It's been hard to get outside walking this week, lots of evening obligations- so I have been hitting the treadmill. I think I actually get a better workout on the treadmill, but walking outside is much nicer, and I like the rest of the family getting exercise too.

Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day, and I'll be checking in again tomorrow. ::yes::

Hi Julie!
Sounds like you have been pretty busy lately. I hope you get a chance to relax a bit. I'm with you~ I love walking outside with my family! We have some of our best conversations when we walk. Plus, there is a lot of scenary and a lot of activity going on as well.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

Tracy:wave2:

Thanks for stopping by Tracy!

Well its official. Lost 2 more lbs which gives me a new clippie!

Hope everyone has a great week!

Just a quick note- I'm still around!

Only lost 1 pound last week- but previously that has resulted in a big loss the following week, hope that stays true.
I am losing more inches- so maybe my body was just catching up .

I am still getting in all my exercise and staying on track with points, so I just need to be patient. Work is busy as usual, but I no longer have the urge for chocolate when the stress starts, which is an accomplishment in itself I think:sunny:

Hope everyone is having a great week.

Hey Julie!

I am happy for your continued success!::yes:: Keep up the hard work!

I will not post again before my trip. I will be back in a couple of weeks!:teeth:

Carol:wave:

:flower2: :flower2: :flower2: A BEAUTIFUL NEW CLIPPIE!!! :flower2: :flower2: :flower2:

Can't believe I almost missed the clippie party!! Congratulations, Julie!

I hope all is going well and you're having a great week!!
:sunny:

Wow, what a month May turned out to be- record month at work, kids end of school, Memorial Day holiday!

And yet, I'm hanging in there and got another clippie! and very close to the next one. I have now lost over 40 pounds since the beginning of March.

I have a couple of new goals I want to put in place - but right now I am up way too late, (or is it early) coz I am taking my daughter to her exam for her perm. driver's license tomorrow. I am scared she will fail, and more scared she will pass! Crazy huh? There has been too many teenager accidents around here lately, and she is not always the most responsible thing- but I need to give her a chance to prove herself. Hope I can get some sleep tonight :(

My biggest goal for this month is to start on some of the videos I keep buying and not doing yet. I don't want to be just thinner, I want to be toned also, and I know this is the best way. I read the Firm workout thread Tracy today, and I was excited to read about the results wishers are getting, not ready for Firm yet, but need to start somewhere.

I do know the walking- both outside and on the treadmill- is making me stronger and more fit. Our treadmill is a stationary incline, and in the beginning I could barely do 10 minutes at the lowest speed, I am now up to 30 minutes and have to keep increasing the speed to work up a sweat. I am very proud of this, but I need to take it to the next level.

Hope everyone else is doing great- I need to get around to journals, can't believe I missed the baby announcement! Sorry Dax! Hope to be back to roll the clippie again really soon.

40 pounds lighter!!! Good for you!!

Have you tried any of those exercise tapes yet??? Which one will you try first?

Did your daughter pass her driving test?? My son is 16 and has his learner's permit. He'll be taking his driving test in late July or early August. I know what you mean about the mixed emotions.

Wow Julie!
You have lost 40 pounds since March! That is wonderful!!:jumping1: Keep up the good work!

The FIRM is wonderful! I have stalled on seeing more results, but I think it's due to the fact that my eating habits have been less than healthy lately. If you try the videos, join us on the FIRM thread. We'd love to have you over there!!!::yes::

Have a great weekend Julie!

Tracy:wave2:

P.S. How did you DD do on her driving test???

Hey,

I just wanted to let you know that I always look forward to your posts! You have done an incredible job with your weight loss!

Gotta run, hamburgers cooking!

The incredible shrinking one!

Dax

Thanks Doreen, Tracy & Dax for checking in on me!:sunny:

Why did I think the summer would be a little less hectic:confused: It's been busy, busy around here.

I am happy to report DD passed her drivers test with 92 - instructor said she did a great job. Which is a good thing since we were notified she failed the 2nd semester of Spanish (I kind of knew this was coming, but was hoping for a miracle with her final.) I got her a tutor but it was too late. She needs to get up to speed -she has to take Spanish II next year. So she can drop me off in the morning, SS till 11:30am and bring my van back. Just have to find a place for DS in the mornings- I could have him at work but he will be so bored. I actually probably have someone, just have to work out the logistics. Like I said , busy, busy.:hyper:

But in spite of it all, still losing weight.:bounce: And I have a brand new clippie today. And its gold:bounce: :Pinkbounc . I am sooo excited! And I started a new countdown for myself- less than 10 pounds to onderland. My mini goal was to make this before my birthday (6/29) and I think I may make it. Still got lots to go until my final goal, but I am very excited about this.:teeth:

I also bought a couple tank tops and they don't look to bad. Just using them to work out in right now because I need to work on my arms. Today is the day I am going to start on a workout tape- I'm going to check out the firm tapes also. Anyone have suggestions for a beginner -very beginner one?

Have a great one-

Another 2 lbs gone yay!:bounce: But I am a little worried I may not hit 199 by the end of the month. But I am going to continue to watch my points and keep up the exercise- and hope for the best.

I DID NOT start the exercise tapes yet. I was checking out the Firm tapes at Kmart today and my DH had the nerve to ask if I had used any of the other tapes I have. Hmm, why does he think I need to use what I have before I get some others?:p
I did see the Firm tapes need extra equipment so I guess I will check on getting those before I decide to buy the tapes.
I just can't seem to give myself the extra "push" to get started on this. I think I know I am gonna be sore at first and I am dreading that. Gonna try to get some motivation sometime this week.
