Hey Julie,

Just letting you know, I will be changing my nickname tommorrow. I refuse to believe that there are two other men on here. If i cant see, touch them, or hear them then they cant be here!

PS...Don't tell anyone, I've only told a few hundred of my closest friends on here about it.

By the way, are you from anywhere neat Savannah? I applied for a job with the phone co. there, however I couldn't get an interview...I am sure they already had someone picked out. I find it hard to believe though that they had anyone better than me.(As you can tell, self confidence was never a problem with me!)

Oops, let a few days get by without posting- just busy around here. DS had a game Wed night so by the time I got off of work and over there and then home - no walking. Worked Thurs and Friday late also- but forced myself to hit the treadmill, so after my walk today- I will have hit my 5 days a week exercise goal! Yea me!:cool1:

I've been peeking at the scale a little, but it keeps going up and down, so keeping my fingers crossed tomorrow will be enough for a new clippee.

Nope Dax, not near Savannah, that's on the east coast we are closer to the west side of GA, sorta. Geography was never my strong suit. It was much easier when I lived in Miami, everything was North! LOL Actually we have lived here 10 years and I have never been to Savannah. Probably because I keep insisting we take our vacations at Disney.

Changing your nickname again? And they say women can't make up their minds?:rolleyes:

Thanks to all who visit my journal,it helps stay on track by giving me some accountablity.

Hey Julie! Exercising 5 days a week is great! You will be closer to your goal in no time with that dedication! :D

Ball Season here is busy for us, too. We kind of dread the juggling of schedules, with more time away from home. When it is over, then we are sad.

I have been to Savannah, but not for a vacation. We go to Disney and cannot seem to break away!

Just a quick note before we leave for our evening walk.
Weighted myself this morning - .2 lbs short of 3 more pounds gone! I'm just gonna call it 2 lbs and claim my new clippee!
Hopefully next week will be 3 lbs. Might have to bump up the exercise if I'm gonna meet my 12 lb goal by Mother's Day.

Hey Julie! You are still doing great! At the rate you are going, I bet you will meet your goal. Even if you don't, with all the exercise that you are getting, you will have lost inches!!!! Way to go!

Hey Julie! I see that your hard work is paying off!!! I agree that it is hard to introduce carbs back into my diet. I am so scared that I am going to do something that will not be helpful! Just a quick check in then off to bed - its late.

Monday- only got 10 minutes in on the treadmill in the am before work. Really intented that to be an extra workout, then walk in the evening- but didn't happen.:( Glad I got those minutes in at least.

Tonight was DS baseball, so no walk outside- but got my time in on the treadmill, so feeling good about that.

Thanks everyone for the clippie party - I enjoyed it!:Pinkbounc :bounce: Can't wait for the next one.

My WW points have been on target- no cheats so hoping for another steady loss this week.

Monday I bought a new pair of jeans in a lower size - found another pair I liked- but they were too loose in some areas- so I think another week or so, and maybe another size lower? Here's hoping.:goodvibes

I'll try to check in with everyone's journals tomorrow. (today?)

Ohh I've been sidelined by a head cold, may be a sinus infection but I hate going to the Dr. unless I really have to.

I started feeling bad Wed. so no exercise, I did get in a walk yesterday- but today I was feeling so bad -boss sent me home from work.

My head is so stopped up I'm not gonna try and do too much, I already have a splitting headache. I seem to be getting sick a lot this year, I thought exercise was supposed to make you healthier?:confused: It's probably because I have been outside more than I usually am this time of year- I am so ready for pollen season to be over.

I have been sticking to my points- so I am hoping for a loss this week- for some reason I was really hungery today, maybe the Claritan I took, but I have been chugging the water and chewing on ice instead of going off plan, and so far it has helped. I'll try to catch up on journals this weekend.

You are doing great when you are able to stay within your points when you are not feeling 100%. ::yes::

I thought the same thing about exercise; that you are healthier when you exercise. Maybe it is a sinus infection that will be gone soon.

I have had alergies in the past, ones that caused me to have hives. The Dr. prescriber attarax(spelling?), which made me hungry and soooo sleepy. I would rather not take any meds if I can get by without any.

keep up the steady pace of being a more healthier you!

I am still fighting this sinus infection, cold, whatever it is. Didn't get any exercise in yesterday, but I did go for a walk today, but I was mightly slow. But at least I got it in.

I am really trying hard to make my Mother's Day challenge goal, so I have been staying within my points. I have had a little more diet coke these last few days than I have had since I started drinking more water last month, it seems to help my headache. Hope the sodium doesn't do me in. :(

I have a little dilemia,in my head anyway. I may possibly make a trip to Disney in May, just me to meet up with a friend and her DH, will probably only do the parks 1 day, just a long 4 day weekend for me, 1st and last day on the road. I really don't want to be super points counting- but on the other hand, I don't want to gain back any weight either. I know they want to go to Rainforest Cafe, so I need to figure out what to eat ahead of time. I know I can get my walks in-maybe get on the treadmill too.
I am still early in the game and don't want to lose the momentum I have started. Do I sound crazy or what? :crazy: Hmm, maybe don't answer that!
I'm trying to get caught up with journals, as my headache allows.

I really enjoy your posts on my thread! You have a way of making my day. Now on to other things...

Go have a meal at the Rainforest, just don't go crazy! And immediately decide to stay straight for two weeks!

I do hope you're feeling better. Boy I tell you this illness has been rough this year! This is the first one that I've got but it's been a doozy. I hope you are feeling better. You seem to be sticking to your plan just lacking the exercise. That's good. Make sure you get plenty of liquids though. I've been seriously lacking in that area myself.

I hope you are feeling better. Listen to your body. Ig will tell you what it needs. Why don't you look at hte RFC menu online. You can ahoose something healthy before you go. That way you won't be tempted when you are there.

A quick trip to WDW sounds just like what the dcotor ordered!:Pinkbounc I hope you have a great time!! The Rainforest Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants. They have a pot roast type dinner that is excellent! Beth gave you a great idea when she said to check out the menu online. That way, you can plan the meal in advance and that may help you stay OP.
