Julie from DVC??

Has anyone ever used Julie Hughes to buy the DVC from ?? Just wondering how you liked/ didn't like her, if she was easy to work with and any other thing that I might be needing to ask about, but don't because I'm a first time buyer and really inexperienced! We've spoken on the phone several times, and I like her, but haven't had business dealings with her yet. Thanks for any info you can help with.

I've worked with Julie and she's been great. She answered my calls promptly and provided all the info I needed to make a decision about an add-on. She seems very knowledgable and eager to please.

Julie is my sales rep now. Originally, when I first purchased in 1994, I had Randy Krueger, but I was transferred over to her (never knew why!) in 1998 or so. She has handled several transactions for me since and has always been very easy to work with. She is a DVC owner herself and has used her points in several different ways, so I always enjoy getting her perspective when I have done my (too many!) add-ons. She is also very prompt in returning my calls. I think she will be good for you to have as a rep.

I spoke with her several times before we bought, when I was ready, I wanted VWL, which I understood was still available, I phoned her twice and never received a return call???? Ended up buying resale and saved 18.00 per point and thats factoring in the closing costs. I really liked her and would have preferred to buy direct, but never heard back???? The resale took very long(owners were in the UK and took about an addtional month total, we also fell into the Christmas/New Years gap). But when all was said and done we made the offer on 10/17 and was able to book my first trip on January 9. I received 3/4 of 2002 points banked, did not have to pay dues, and all of 2003 points. So almost 3 months from start to finish, but we actually closed on 12/20, just the Christmas/New Years accounting issues with DVC is was slowed things down alot.

Julie is our rep and has been wonderful. We looked into DVC 4-5 years ago and decided not to buy, but told her the Beach Club was our favorite resort and if they ever build there...call us.

She called us a few months before sales for BCV opened to let us know it was coming up, which gave me a chance to save up some money. She handled our initial purchase and a recent add-on.

She's very professional, courteous, knowledgable and nice to work with. I get the sense that she enjoys her DVC ownership and genuinely enjoys working with people. She has always returned my phone calls promptly and gone out of her way to help us out.

Julie was our rep for our initial purchase and for 3 add ons since. We have always found her to be knowledgable, prompt, efficient and pleasant to work with. She is not high pressure in any way. I would recommend her without reservation.
