Your pictures of the Epcot fountain are gorgeous. Mine never turn out that good - hopefully the new camera will help with that.

It was VERY good. I can't complain about anything...other than no refills of the chocolate covered strawberries! 
Henry really likes to type! Today he insisted on typing to Joe over instant messenger.OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I think I gained about 50 pounds just looking at those wonderful pictures of delicious looking sweets
I so want to try this sometime. Are they going to be doing this all the time or just on special occasions?? It looks wonderful

The buffet is wonderful! All you can eat, and everything is GOOD! I am not sure what they are doing with the buffet, it seems to just keep getting extended for now, hopefully they make it a permanent feature because it rocks!

We would work well together as I have to drink everything with a straw since my teeth as sooooo sensitive to ice...you could have all my ice!
Those look like the same donut holes at Crystal Palace...OMG - the price of the dessert party would be worth it just for those!!! When we ate at the CP, I didn't try one until I was just about stuffed...good thing too. I still ate about five of them and they were the best donut holes I ever had!
And tell Henry I enjoyed his trip report...that was really cute!
That's funny that you work right by a Shula's! You should really go try it sometime...either there or in WDW! I was very impressed!

Oh & I have 2 of those garden Mickey gnomes One for my front yard & one for the back yard. I love them!! I bought them when we were there a few years back & had them mailed home (too bulky to carry home).

Too funny! I hope they keep extending it (or make it permanent!) and you get to go, it was so great. I understand about the NEED for tiramisu... and in miniature version everything is even better for some reason...perhaps because you can fit more in? Yum yum yum!!! I SO hope the dessert buffet is continued in the spring (insert drooly smilie here!) I would love to do this on our last night there
I am totally with you on the water thing! I can't go to bed without a very LARGE glass of ice water next to my bed (in a cup insulated well enough so there is still ice until well into early morning!) When I was pregnant with my second child, I became obsessed with chewing on ice!! I simply could never have enough. I looked forward to going to the hospital because they have the BEST type of ice...yes, sad I know
HOSPITAL ICE IS THE BEST!!!! I completely agree! It's those little ice chips, and it's soft so it's easier to chew. Love it. Arby's used to have great ice, but they changed it. I will pick certain places over others due to the quality of ice sometimes....it's nuts!Great update. I would have gone for the fruit, too, even though I would have had to try a few of the sweet treats, as well. The creme brulee would have been a for sure. What a spread!

Your Shula's review was really interesting, it is one of those restaurants where I keep thinking they might be worth it from my foreigner's point of view, it seems to be so quintessential American!

The Mornings aren't pretty mug is wonderful, I remember that you were writing about it last year and then it wasn't to be found anywhere in January? But isn't it a bit different in design from the previous mugs? Or am I just thinking that? Is it as huge as it used to be?

Loved the photos from the Wishes party. I saw the chapter title and my first response was "As many as you have." Glad the insanely long line didn't take too long to get through.
I know why I crave it though...it's an iron deficiency. Have you ever heard that before? Kinda crazy, huh? I was on iron pills my entire pregnancy because when they first took my blood they were shocked at its levels. When I took the vitamins I didn't crave ice at all. It was so weird because I have craved ice for as long as I remember.
but I'm a history geek so I totally get getting excited by stuff like that...(love SSE also...)...wow how hard is it to make a hot dog...you could have made several yourself in all that time......knowing how much guys can eat in general I would assume it would be quite a few... they do sound like they were good though...
Yep, you are right about the mug. My Mickey Mouse one is REALLY big, like 6-8 cups. It's nuts. We couldn't find a match for it in January. This Minnie one is a slightly different design and a LOT smaller! But I still like it all the same.

Yep! After the pregnancy the doctor tested my blood to see if that's why I wasn't bouncing back as quickly as I should have and sure enough, low iron! She said that's why I'd had the ice obsession. What do they call it? Pica or something like that? I've read that it can cause cravings for non-food items like drywall
I haven't ever been diagnosed by a doctor, so I had never heard the actual term...I really should go check it out. I wonder if my EXTREMELY dry skin on my hands has anything to do with that....

But I'm glad he enjoyed the dessert party...that sounds like it would really be fun to do...ironically for a Disney lover...I don't always love crowds...and a little trade off in view for comfort and yummy desserts would be totally worth it...
I was wondering how many donut holes one man could eat...
But, I've prepared myself mentally to just roll with it, so hopefully I can. 
I'm just waiting for those days when Henry is a teenager and I need to order a large pizza just for him...! It was $10.95. I am wondering too if you could find it online...but I imagine the shipping charges to Germany might be a tad outrageous!
I know they were testing this on a limited basis. Do you know if they are doing this full-time now?

Those Desserts look awesome. It looks like they do a nice job with it. I thought it would've been some cookies, coffee or drinks in a large catering container...but the spread looks well put together.
thanks for the many pictures and descriptions of the different "things" at the buffet. It really helps people on the DIS decide if this is something for them.
I wish I would have gotten the little signs with the food so we could tell what everything was since I can't remember anymore! But, it was ALL good. Not one bad thing! (I'll never forget that! LOL)
