I feel kind of bad for Jana. While clearly a serious issue, what happened with her was nothing like what Josh did. Yet all of a sudden they are getting lumped together.

The timing on this is so suspect though. Almost seems like they found a way to delay until after the verdict so as not to taint Josh any further.

I think we all know. That’s why some believe the comments regarding wishing that on someone are inappropriate. I believe what the other poster is trying to say is that getting raped by someone does not equal “having a boyfriend”.

If you all know, stop asking me to clarify my comments so you can decide if I am judgeworthy or not. . The fact of the matter is Prison Culture will take care of Josh and yes more than likely he will have a “boyfriend”. He won’t have a choice. If that concerns you that’s not my issue. As a survivor of “my” own Pedophile that will never be punished, that I have to go still see 39 years later, who will never know the horror of being touched over and over against your will, I will continue to GLEEFULLY celebrate this disgusting Pedophiles punishment and I am absolutely thrilled that the culture in prisonis his REAL punishment.

May the prison culture take VERY good care of him. May those that are offended by my statements about a disgusting pedophile find the block option and execute it

Oh and to further offend I’ll go all in and say I am really hoping he is “Epsteined” in Prison. . That is the only acceptable solution that will protect those kids otherwise when he gets outs it’s game on with Anna and those poor children. Especially if his sentence is light enough that she’s still fertile when he gets out and she keeps making him victims.

I'm not offended, and I understand the desire to hurt someone that hurt you, I've felt that way myself. But speaking in general I'm not going to celebrate rape culture in prison. People may think it's just bad apples getting their just dessert, but the majority of those raped in prison are just young men and women who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. I've been involved in volunteer prison counseling for 35 years, and it's not like what some people think in pop culture, or the movies. The victims of pedophiles are more likely to be raped in prison than the pedophiles themselves.
I'm not trying to anger anyone, it's just my personal feelings, and I'll say no more. I'm off topic anyway.

I’ll pass your concerns on to my therapist and let her know that you disagree with her assessment of how I am handling this verdict and the cathartic way it’s helping my PTSD. No worries though, as I am in therapy your comments also won’t do any damage. I know better

@TheIncredibles Putting everything else aside, I just want to say that you don’t *have* to see anyone you don’t want to. You have the power to cut off people who are not good for your mental or emotional wellbeing. It may be difficult to take that step but, speaking from experience, life is so much better once you are fully, 100% free from your abuser(s).

I don't think that anyone should be told how to handle their issues and especially should not be told that they are unstable for feeling like they do. Good for you that you can turn the other cheek, but that does not work for everyone.

Are you serious? Josh Duggar is a predator. He has molested young children. He is in possession of CSAM. How can you even compare the two?

It is OK to be happy about Josh Duggar being held accountable for his heinous crimes. His victims were powerless. It is OK for some to hope that maybe if he's put in a position of being powerless that he might learn a lesson and truly grasp how unforgivable and heinous his actions are.

I think there's a difference between disagreeing with what TheIncredibles said and saying s/he can't feel however she wants. I personally don't like jokes and cutesy phrases about prison rape (having a "boyfriend", "meeting Bubba", "drop the soap", etc) because I think it has become a funny in our popular culture and that minimizes the violence and trauma of it. That said, I can completely understand someone's desire to want to see an abuser hurt, and specifically in a way that they have hurt others.

Have you Redditors seen that the former bodyguard with the expired NDA has been confirmed and is going to do an AMA on DuggarsSnark? I don’t know when but I’m hoping for at least five minutes notice so I can have my popcorn ready.

For those who don’t know, this is a guy who used to be a bodyguard for the Duggars right after the 2015 scandals broke. (And man, does he detest them!) He has alleged that at the time, the Duggars had moved the whole family to Oklahoma in an effort to avoid a CPS investigation of Josh’s kids. He also alleges an incident where one of Josh’s kids was injured and Jim Bob had John David fly the child to Texas in the middle of the night during a storm to be cared for by a friend instead of going to a local ER to, once again, stay off of CPS’s radar.
