This is SUCH a first-world problem, but since we're all on a Disney board, I'm sure you can understand & sympathize. I am suffering from HORRIBLE Disney withdrawal this year. We normally try to go every other year, and we were there last fall, so this is our usual "off" year, but with the way I'm craving a Disney fix, you'd think decades had passed since I'd been at the House of the Mouse! LOL! We typically travel in the fall because of our school calendar so all these pictures & status updates keep showing up in my Facebook memory app. (in fact, our last trip was exactly a year ago. Happy Disney anniversary to me. HaHaHa!) and it's like a two-edged sword. LOVE to see all the memories, but it really makes me wanna throw everything in a suitcase and hop on the next flight to Orlando (We live in the Midwest so it's not a simple solution of popping in for a weekend or anything like that -- not to mention the $$$ to do that). All the Halloween decorations, MNSSHP, Food & Wine ... I just miss it like crazy & I'm so sad not to be right in the middle of it all again this year.
I keep trying to console myself knowing my DD15 & I are going in the spring with the school orchestra, band & choir. It's our first time heading down there with a group like that, and they'll be performing at Disney so that's exciting, but it also means I have zero input on any of the planning, can't do meals or FPs or anything. I'm sure we're going to have a GREAT time, but it's definitely going to be a very different trip than we're used to.
Plus spring is sooooooooo far away & I want to be there NOW! (Insert stomping foot and ridiculous tantrum here. LOL!). Anyway, thanks for listening to me whine. I just needed poor my heart out to other Disney fanatics & know they understand. In the meantime, I'll just keep living vicariously through all your trip reports.

Our light at the end of the tunnel is we know we're getting new AP next summer and it'll be here before we know it. The holiday season is approaching rapidly, which we do a lot for, so that'll go quickly. Then it'll be 2017 and we can really start counting down.
