AHH omg it was so amazing!!!!
i didnt really take a lot of pictures b/c the stage rotates and they were far away, but i have a few of like the jumbotron.
okay so during the actual rodeo part, during the bullriding, when one of the bull riders got off his bull, it was still REALLY angry so it jumped on him like 20 times, and even the rodeo clowns couldnt get him away, so he was like knocked out or something, so it took a good 15 minutes to get him off the field, so they set up the stage during the calf round up, instead of just doing it after the rodeo. so anyway, they turned the lights out and showed us these like commercial things, and meanwhile this black suv comes out. no one thought it was them because usally they make a huge deal about the person coming out, like they will put lights on the car and like swerve around, but they just kind of nonchalantly drove in lol. and then all of a sudden they were on stage and i was like WOAH where did they come from. haha. they opened with that's just the way we roll, and then played shelf and hold on. the rest of the songs arent in order b/c i cant remember, but they played a little big longer, play my music, gotta find you, lovebug, tonight, year 3000, i'm gonna getcha good, burnin' up [obvs, they closed with that one], bb good, video girl, still in love with you, sos, and when you look me in the eyes. i may have forgotten something. and then like halfway through they gave like the most obvious hint ever that they were coming back to houston for their summer tour
. and they were talking about their new record and they were like "okay, we need yall to sing part of a song for us, and we're gonna put it on the internet!" so we were all like okay and joe was like "okay, sing this,
everyone's allergic to poison ivy" and me and my friends were like "....did that really just come out of your mouth?" so we sang it, and now we're all like umm okay what is that song about? xD
okay, so the rodeo is in the reliant center, which is usually a football field, so all the seats are like all the way around the whole field, and the stage moves out into the middle, and it spins around so that everyone gets to see them. they also had like 4 catwalks, one on each side, for the boys to walk out onto. during one of the songs, joe walked out onto the catwalk, then decided to jump off, and goes toward one side of the seats, jumps up ontop of a platform thing, and like jumps over the railing, so all these girls are like running towards him and then all these security are like sprinting across the field, it was so great xD
and nicholas was looking especially delicious might i add. he wore a cowboy hat for the first song so that was like MAJOR swooooooooooon. he wore this black t-shirt, man it was the most amazing t-shirt ever. he seriously needs to wear it more often.
there were these 2 girls and their dads in front of us, and they were like not happy to be there at all. me and my two friends were singing and dancing and screaming, and they kept looking back at us like telling us to stop. like halfway through it they got up and left. i was like 'okay...whatever'. and then the girls behind us, who were probably a couple years older than me, maybe seniors, were sitting down and they looked at everyone like they were crazy. and there were a few insane moms getting into it xD my mom stood up for like 2 songs lol.
but yeah, now my ears are ringing, i cant talk, i still need to do half my homework, and i hate the fact that we lost an hour b/c of daylight savings time. but it was AMAAAAAAAZING. yall should have all been there. it would have been way awesome.
xD After that was done, Kara and Elsie were going up on stage for some reason, I can't remember why. Well I wanted to get a picture of them up on stage and some how this girl's butt was in my way and I was saying "This girl's butt is right in my way, I can't see them! HEY GIRL, MOVE YOUR BUTT! I DON'T WANT BUTT PICTURES!" (I promise that I am nothing like that in real life! xD) And that's all I can remember, but wow. xD
