anyone get any updates on this?? I tried searching for the previous thread but didn't find it.

I'm bringing my 10 year old niece, and she is calling me 10 times a day about it.

If anyone knows how many wristbands, or has any other info, it would be greatly appreciated!

I think it's 500 wristbands they're handing out.

Make sure you're there at 1 am or most likely you won't get a wristband (that's when they're allowing people to start lining up). My friend is at their "secret" free concert in Hollywood right now. She's been waiting with tons of other people since 2:30 am this morning, and the concert just started at 9 pm.

Yes, if not more. Jonas fans are insane!

There was a meet and greet in chicago last year december, about 200 people slept outside all night in 10 degree weather.

Where was the secret concert at? I'm going to be at the a week from today at the Hollywood Palladium.

ETA: Nevermind! Found it! It's at the LA House of Blues. How awesome is that!

It was at the house of blues in west hollywood. They posted a bulletin about it on myspace at 2 in the morning and then deleted it like five minutes later, but tons of people saw it, and ran to the house of blues :scared1:

If I lived close enough I would have ran too!! I read there was only 400 tickets available!!! Holy cow! That's awesome! The concert I'm going to only seats 4,000 and I thought that was awesome! 400! I would have cried!

the palladium is smaller than that! I was just there on thursday to see the sounds. great small venue

It’s smaller than 4,000?! Woohoo! How exciting! I heard it’s a small venue!

Here’s some information from the LA Times about the Meet & Greet tomorrow from here:

The Jonas Brothers will be signing their new book, “Burning Up: On Tour With the Jonas Brothers,” on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008 at Disney’s California Adventure — but be prepared to wait up to 10 hours for the privilege of being in their presence.

Anticipating big crowds and a tight schedule, Disney has taken the unusual step of warning fans not to line up for the 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. book signing before 1 a.m. on Tuesday. Anybody showing up before then will be turned away and asked to leave. A limited number of wristbands (Disney won’t say how many) will be distributed from 7 a.m. until noon on Tuesday.

So just how many books can Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas sign in 90 minutes? Nobody can say for sure. But Disney does promise that everyone who waits in line will get an autographed book (just maybe not autographed personally for you while you gaze longingly at the JoBros). The 90-minute autograph session will take place inside the former Golden Dreams Theater.
Naturally, there are a few more rules (this is Disney after all):

* Theme park admission required.
* Books must be purchased at the park.
* Limit one book per person.
* No place-holding in line.
* No personal items will be signed.

i just hope its organized, and if they know too many people show up, they announce that they won't get in. Saves all these people waiting in the cold for no reason.

Man, now its gonna suck tomorrow cuz its suppose to rain... 90% chance...

:'( :'(

I brought my niece and her friend last night and it was a success. THe first part was VERY unorganized. Since they were strict on the 1am line-up, there were already about 2,000 people there. It was like a mosh pit in DTD from the first entrance into the WOD shop. And they slowly inched the crowd, then tapped you to get out and get in line. I was # 170 and only 2 people back from the front of the mad house pit.
People came and showed up all night long, I bet at 1 time, there were almost 5,000 people there for it.
6am came around and they handed us a ticket, which was good for a wristband an hour later.
after we got out wristband we were allowed to leave and just had to be in front of DCA by 10.
We went to grab food, moved the car to the structure. Then they led the line to the winery to buy the book, then to the golden dreams theater where they were, to get it signed.
They arrived via helicopter, and were beyond cool to the kids. I was expecting them to be snobby, they gave any girl that asked a hug. The all shook my hand and told me thanks. I didn't expect them to do that.

All in all, their dreams came true, and they basically screamed and cried the whole way home.... in a good way.

That is SO cool! Thanks for sharing how it went. I am impressed with the Jonas Brothers giving each girl who asked a hug. Wow, classy for young guys. I won't tell DD they gave hugs though! She wanted me to take her to the lineup so badly! Sounds like a great event.

Yes, I am officially and totally jealous.

Was it totally worth it? It sounds like it was for your neice and her friend!

My 12-year-old niece wanted to go so badly. Her mom said she tried to get someone to take her all day. She was in tears. She didn't even want to hear a thing about it tonight. Her mom was going to buy her the book to sort of make up for her not going, but decided that would start her going again, so I told her I'd get it for her for Christmas.

haha.. yeah i asked them if it was worth it on the way out, and the both screamed yes!

so i guess yes.
