It wasn't me, but it matched the UY for my VGC contracts. I was tempted to just to see if it would get ROFRed, but then I might end up having to scramble to get some $ together. With ETPE gone in DLR/DCA, I'm telling myself that instead of buying more DVC points there, I should just enjoy what I have and if I want to stay more, book something offsite.

I probably won’t ever stay on site at DLR again without that. The price difference is just too huge and the off site hotels are so close.

We’re kicking off the year with a quiet but telling start in the world of DVC Right of First Refusal.

Only 6 contracts were bought back by Disney — but don’t let that number fool you. This trend actually aligns with what we’ve seen in January over the past few years.

Grand Floridian led the charge again with 4 buybacks, continuing its streak as the most ROFR’d resort.
Bay Lake Tower joined the party with 2 contracts bought back — one at a record-high $139 per point! Its recent full refurb may be sparking fresh interest.

Average ROFR review time: 16 days

We bought GF direct a few years back, and we find ourselves using our points at Crescent Lake a lot. We've been toying with a resale contract for about a year, and we finally pulled the trigger this weekend. We are nervous and excited all at the same time. Keeping fingers crossed through the ROFR process!
