we are in the TEENS now only 19 days to go. The anticipation is killing us. We are waiting to hear from our MAW volunteer as to when we'll get our information. I would like to know what we are getting for our check (i know sounds greedy) but i would like to get a budget going so i know what we can spend on spoiling Jonah even more.

Speaking of spoiling Jonah, I knew my kid was spoiled rotten but this takes the cake. I took him to school yesterday and he was doing good in the car, got him out and settled in with his chair and talking to his nurse about his morning. He was fine or seemed fine when i left. 30 minutes after i got home (we live 10 mins away) He had pulled his trach out (he's breathing is o.k. a couple minutes w/out the trach) while she was with him. He didn't get upset about that, but she said after that she couldn't control him. She tried everything i suggested so he could stay at school. Eventually i had to go get him. When I got him home he was so normal actiing like nothing had even happened. I called the doc to see if the antibiotic he's on could cause him to act this way and it is not a side effect. So we decided that it was just him not wanting to be at school and wanted to be home with mommy. I don't think you can get any more spoiled then that.

We were able to get our financial situation under control yesterday and we are hoping to be able to make a full recovery by the summer and be totally debt free *keeping fingers crossed*

I know. The way he acts it seems like NO ONE (being sarcastic) pays attention to him at home or at school. I think he doesn't like sharing his nurse,teacher, or aid with the other 2 kids in his class. He has 2 days a week when it's just him and the three ladies and of course they spoil him rotten. Friday was a day he had to share them. He's a mess. He's been happy all weekend.

I think that's one of my new favorite pictures of him. He's just getting to where he wants to hug stuffed toys and i love it. I'm happy too that our financial situation is getting resolved. It's a huge weight lifted our shoulders right now.

My prayers are with you for your finances (good to hear their looking better) and for hoping Jonah is nice and healthy for your trip. How's the sinus infection?

I'll keep my eyes out for the package. Thank you for your prayers. Jonah is doing better *crossing fingers* he was acting like more like himself today then he has in weeks.
He had a great day at school. He was hugging on his little buddy while they played with Jonah's toy or so i was told by his nurse. So he's doing better. He'll be off his meds by friday and we're hoping that we don't have to do any more.

I'm happy things are looking up too. The picture of him and elmo is one of my favorites . He is a very smart little guy and we are realizing it more and more everyday. I think we are going to do everything we can to spoil him on this trip. It's going to be all about Jonah the whole time.

So i do know that we have plane reservations and i do know that we are staying at GKTW. I just don't know when we're getting the rest of the info like our expense check. I called the airline and they said that we needed a note from the doctor stating what the equipment is for and that it needs to stay with him at all times. since it is medical equipment it doesn't count at a carry on. Make sure that in the letter they include the go bag too. MAW is getting the other equipment for us that we need at night for the humidification so we aren't having to take ours with us. I know that every airline is different so i would call before hand and let them know you are traveling with medical equipment and see what all they need.

We're happy to be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel too.

I can't wait to meet you too. I've got a couple of things packed already but dh had to go out of town for work and is going to be gone for 10 days he took my other suitcase so i can't do anything till he gets back.
I'm working on getting Jonah's supplies together so i can ship them down.
We are getting excited
