I'm not too concerned about this guy-if his confession holds up-he'll never be
on the street again to molest another innocent child. I'll leave it to the justice system to determine his punishment.

The guys that make me sick are the ones that molest innocent kids over and over and get away with it.

On GMA Diane was saying this guy's father said this EX-teacher was obsessed with the family. He wrote term papers on them & started a book about them. I was listening in the car & had to turn it off DD was in the car.

I can't see anyone who is truly opposed to the death penalty actually pick the OP's no choice.

I'm opposed to the death penalty but the OP doesn't have a choice up there for me.

LOL, still waiting for the facts to come in. Maybe he did it? I dunno. But, I am not convinced this case has been solved...so I reserve judgement for now.

Yeah, I'm really not all that convinced at the moment that he necessarily is the real deal. How do we know he's not an attention-seeking person with a psychiatric illness that perhaps has yet to be diagnosed. Does anybody think it odd that the guy would just confess out the blue 10yrs later? Doesn't make sense to me. I would think this case is far from over and discussing punishment is putting the cart before the horse. Incidentally, I'm against the death penalty. No human justice system is infallible, therefore there is always the possibility of executing someone innocent. You can bet your bottom dollar that those who support the death penalty wouldn't be too supportive of it if that happened to themselves.

I'm all for the death penilty but refuse to answer the poll.
The "confessed" killer is wacko. I doubt seriously he did it.
I still believe she was accidentally killed by the brother and the parents covered it up.
I don't think it is 1st degree/capitol murder case.

I think he should be sentenced to death if convicted. I read, though, that some of his facts are wrong, some of the details he gave aren't correct. And, his ex-wife has given him an alibi. On a more personal level, I hope he's guilty because it comforts me believing the Ramseys didn't do it. I hope he's the right guy.
