To get a piece of WDW in your lives tonight, there is a rerun on Jon and Kate Plus 8 go to Disney World tonight at 10pm on TLC. Just thought I'd share...

Is it the "Road trip" one? I saw it earlier today. I was really disappointed that it only showed them in WDW for the last half of the show and only at MK for 2 whole rides. They were there for 5 days and we only saw about a morning's worth.

They could do a whole show about how to juggle your children at WDW (not literally!) based off of their experience.

That's a funny show. I watched on the weekend, when I noticed that my Tivo recorded it. (It records any show that has Disney World in the description)

Kate cracks me up, mostly because I would have reacted exactly the same way. I only have one son but he was never allowed to have Ice Cream cones, Cotton Candy or any thing that had major Sticky Mess potential when we went places when he was little.
At the age of the 3, I would have given him the Ice Cream only if we were sitting at a table or if I was holding it and spooning it into him. Just like Kate.

When I see a little kid with an ice cream covered face and shirt, I shudder.

My mother always thought I was over-reacted about this too.. but I never had to deal with a gross sticky child when I was out and about.

The ice cream thing was so over the top! I know I don't have 8 kids but Kate is going to wind up in a looney bin if she does not LET GO of a few of her quirks!!!

I saw this episode earlier today. I didn't even realize it was a Disney World episode until I saw them walk into the Wilderness Lodge and then I had my normal reaction to anything Disney... I screamed:

"DISNEY WORLD!!"

I thought it was especially cute when the kids all had their ears on.

OP -- Thanks for the update on the show tonight, but as much as I love John and Kate plus 8, I don't think I can bear to watch her OCD meltdown about the ice cream again. Just let those babies have their ice cream!!! Don't you know this is the happiest place on earth? What's a little sticky mess? LOL....

Wow - where to begin? We watch their program on occasion and are continually amazed with Kate. Melt-downs, OCD, obsessiveness, "big brat"...whatever you call it, she puts on quite a "show." Jon seems like a good guy and a great dad, and I respect ALL his efforts.

I love Jon & Kate Plus 8...and having a show with them going to WDW was even better! We usually stay at the villas at WL, so seeing them there made me miss "home". I just wish they would've shown them doing more things instead of the ice cream meltdown and all that jazz!

Poor DD misses the WDW episode of John & Kate Plus 8 every time we catch a marathon, so when I saw this post I decided to let her stay up and watch it (hey, it's summer and I only have 2 kids so we can make exceptions like this )

Have to agree, sometimes Kate makes me crazy with her OCD- anyone see the crayon factory episode? But she has good qualities too- patience with the whining of the older 2 girls, for example. Man that would drive me nuts
