Let's talk DWTS. Bad, bad, bad. She was so bad in the rehearsal bit. Tony looked so put out. She used the kids to "win a vote" by saying it is the highlight of their week, etc. That's low! She also blamed them for tiring her out. Did you see all the adults in the DL pics. Come on Kate!

At least she can't be blamed for making bad faces..I watched very carefully this week LOL. Oh, and I noticed she can still move her eyebrows LOL!!
No surprise, she still can't dance. I wouldn't expect her to not mention her kids, right or wrong. It didn't bother me, because I knew she was going to say it (telepathic, I guess LOL). I was surprised to not see them in the audience, but I do want to know who the ladies were they panned to.

I haven't watched it yet. I'll zip through tivo tomorrow and catch the snippets.

But since the beginning--I have found everyone's observations to be spot on. So I can't say that I'm looking forward to the clip.

Was hoping she would improve--but if it is as everyone says, it is now time for her to be dropped. One thing is for certain--she's consistent--scoring wise.

I don't know how one can mess up a Foxtrot, I guess we shall soon find out.

Someone asked/commented on her practicing this week--I know someone posted that in one of her interviews that last week was pretty much only 2 days of practice. While lack of talent is one of her biggest enemies--WOW, I thought the stars put in much more than that. Maybe that is why Tony seems fed up.

Or maybe I've been snookered by DWTS and assumed that celebs practiced more.

I would think the interviews, Book signings, and dancing would tire her out. Weird.

She did say it, it was a rather lame excuse considering she was apparently all over the place last week! During the rehearsal you could tell she didn't have the energy to put into it. Now whether or not she *wanted* to put the effort in is up for debate! But to say it was because of the kids was a stretch. Maybe she should have said that with all the interviews and book promotions she's exhausted. Instead she said she had 8 little reasons why she was tired.

Her dance was pretty bad. I felt bad for her partner Tony, he was trying to overcompensate for her. You know what I noticed? She dances better with a partner than alone. What I mean is that when she is locked into a hold with Tony she looks better than when she tries to do the moves out on the floor alone. The moves she did tonight were sooo very awkward but she looked better and more relaxed when in hold with Tony.

Kate did a lot of press last week for the book, and attended the LA upfronts. She had a busy week. I saw no mention in any of the tweets I got about Kate that the children were with her, so I am going to go on the assumption (based on the limited information I have) that they arrived late in the week. It is possible, however, that they were in Cali while she was working.

honestly, it sounds a lot like bad timing to me... Kate had a legitimately busy week, maybe it wasn't the right time to bring them out. But at the same time, we all know Kate's time is limited on the show and I'm sure that the trip was offered as part of the involvement on DWTS (with ABC/Disney's partnership), so there they are.

I guess there are still restrictions about the children on TV. I expected to read that they showed footage of DL(maybe that's tomorrow's show?) or that they were in the audience.

I was essentially meaning...when you said that you didn't watch it (almost like giving her a BOD)--I was saying that I haven't either, but wasn't sure how the statement could improve by actually viewing it. IOW--it will probably sound even worse when I do view it.

Sources tell me that in between dance practices, Kate Gosselin has been house hunting in the Hollywood Hills for a mansion big enough for her and her eight kids.

"Now that Kate has tasted the excitement of Hollywood, there is no way that she is going to return to Pennsylvania," a friend of Kate's tells me. "She is looking at homes in the Hollywood Hills in gated communities in the $2 million range. Kate is insisting the properties she sees have a pool, at least six bedrooms, an outdoor hot tub and, bizarrely, a recording studio!"

And it's not just a home that Kate has been looking for in Los Angeles. Sources tell me she has been meeting with agents, managers and publicists.

Kate brings in the ratings = (equals) she has powerful "friends" in high places, that are helping her get started like I've never seen before. For example, when radaronline ran the slightly un-Kate article which was then pulled ASAP? I'd love to know the whole back story on the PR effort and who is driving it - maybe Eileen O'Neill, the TLC President? Big connections somewhere, but of course the scent of big money to be made will do that for ya

Remember when Kate took Mady and Cara to NYC for head shots and auditions? I think even back then Kate would have really liked for them to get into some kind of show business, so if they do move to CA I really wouldn't be surprised to see the girls on the Disney channel, Nickelodeon, or somewhere like that.

And also if they move it will be good that Kate probably won't have to do so much "loving them from afar", like she says in her book:

"I’ve learned to talk to my kids on the phone and love them from afar, reminding myself that I had to do my job. I truly enjoy the campaigns, books, shows, media.”

Ok, I just watched and while bad it was better than the last dance I saw. I think it was week 2 and the red flapper jive. (was it the jive, who could tell?) I LOVE Bruno! She really does have all the energy and joy of a corpse. He nailed it when he said she needed to come out and give us something. She's not dancing, she's not trying. Tony really looks shell shocked and beaten down to me. He cringed when the judges started in. I think she is sucking the life out of him.

I thought it was funny the chalkboard didn't say Tony loves Kate.

It's hard for me to view the whole 'the kids made me tired' objectively, b/c I know the backstory but it's sooooooooo lame and fakey and a lie. She was led by Brooke, but it almost sounded like she (Kate) didn't believe it either.


Jake was good and Maks is certainly making the show more enjoyable!

I forgot to add she said the kids live and breathe for her to dance. How fascinating her kids always passionately want all these things she wants.

I don't think they said anything about Tony at all. Brooke went right in with tell me why you are so tired this week. I think he mumbled something about being proud of her, but again it sounded like he didn't believe what he was saying. I swear I just expect one or both of them to say, 'You know, we're done here. We've lost interest, we have the money'.
