Yeah, I've been there too. And truthfully, there aren't many people on this board that I wouldn't want to meet in person in Disney at a meet (just not about K & J LOL).

Oh my goodness, can you imagine if we all met up at Disney? We could wear shirts with Kate's picture on the front so we'd know it was someone from our thread! People would think we were insane. Ooooh, on the back of the shirt we could list our 10 step withdrawal process from the madness of J&K+8! Didn't we discuss that last year, something about going through withdrawal?

Yup, people have done that too, posted a fly-by comment condemning us for not hating her too! The door swings both ways!

ETA: I thought of a better idea Doris, we could all wear the Kate wig!!!

So she did. And got booed by some as she went to the front of the line. Now, really, that is not nice to boo at children.

Who will be watching DWTS tonight? I will try (have to get up really early tomorrow and should have an early night) because I want to see whether or not the children are there.

And FYI--if they boo KAte, they should boo all VIP's--

Just found out on the them parks board that one can apy for that service...many hundred dollars an hour.

If I had the money--I could do it too. Wonder if they would boo me. (or if my earlier thesis is correct and I'd be okay.)

I'm not surprised she got booed. People are BRUTAL when it comes to waiting in line. Case in point, when my youngest DD was only 4, we were in line for a ride at MK and she had a bathroom emergency. As in she needed to go right away. So we ducked out of line while DH and my other 2 DD's waited. When we crept back into line where the rest of family was waiting, I got the dirtiest looks from tons of people. I kept apologizing and saying DD had to use the potty but they just stared me down! So I'm not surprised that Kate and the kids got a little booed from those waiting in line. I think it was totally uncalled for to boo with the kids there. What do other celebs do, do they wait in line? I can't imagine they do.

Yup, I'm watching tonight too! Kate is dancing the Fox Trot so we'll see how she does. Are the kids supposed to be there? I hadn't heard that they were. But if they're in CA already then maybe they will?

I'm sure you consider me agressive, just in the fact I post a lot on this board and respond often..but then again, I think even that depends on what side you are on. There are a couple I think post a lot, but I really don't see it as agressive..just that they have something to say.
If you are disagreeing, you would tend to think the other person is trying more to get their point across over yours. Add to what we post, all the PM's and obviously some of us are enjoying this thread. Some people didn't like what they thought was the negativity and started a different private board some time back. It isn't much fun with everyone agreeing LOL. Then you have boards that only have the other side..so there is something for everyone.

I'm sure that folks think that about me--but I am a point by point poster....

So what appears as picking apart, is me just responding to individual posts as they cut up. If that irritates people, many apologies--but it isn't against board rules and I do it so that I keep with the flow of the conversation. In real life--I wouldn't listen to anyone non-stop for 15 minutes and then respond with a one word answer. IOW--my posting style here has nothing to do with Kate.

It's kind of what I like about the dis....the discussions can be more well rounded and thought provoking.

Or get her last year's halloween wig on uber clearance, spray paint it lime green and voila.

As for your last point--I can't imagine a world where someone who does not personally affect you causes so much discourse and hatred. AND they aren't even doing anything criminal. (*note before I get called out on that...there is civil law and criminal law as I was educated by an attorney on another thread...no, nothing Jon or Kate does is "criminal". Not even alleged spankings with wooden spoons. (never heard about that one before))

When Michael Jackson was at The Studios, we were surprised when we got there in the morning before we went in (so I guess we could decide not to go in), they told us the studio's was closing earlier for a private party. We later learned it was for MJ. I doubt he would have come through a regular line.

While I cannot speak for Kate ...

I had heard that Disneyland prefers Celebs to not attempt to --- go in on their own.

I cannot remember what story I had read or who the celeb was. But on occasions where celebs attempt it, it isn't good. While they are there to just enjoy the parks--well, guests have other ideas and a mob ensues. (In the story I read, it was a desireable celeb--so it was an autograph/picture mob.)

In any case--DL has to then go through the effort to undo all of that and the celebs are most grateful at that point to try and be a regular guest, b/c they aren't.

For Kate--

The only thing I can comment on--she's on DWTS, which airs on ABC--so perhaps this was all arranged by them anyway. And if it wasn't--much like DMRick, myself or anyone else here--VIP escorts can be obtained by anyone with the cash and 72 hours notice. (there was a thread on th etheme parks board yesterday and one DISer who won 4 days of a VIP experience was able to comment from personal experience how a VIP tour works. FP lines don't require a fast past, regular lines that are not FP--do not get cut officially, but there are usually ways around that as well.)

*not commenting on my experiences or my knowledge, simply offering what I read elsewhere on the DIS re: VIP tours, what I read in an article--and offering my opinion.

I think kate herself could get away with doing Disney but with the kids, nope, no way. One would see 8 little kids and think right away it was them. It'd be crazy.

We usually do Disney with my oldest daughter as the leader. She actually printes out more itineraries than I do..and maps from this point to that. She had our dining on a graph (and how long it should take us) in September. She knew to a penny what we would be spending (except for when she wasn't looking, we'd slip in a dole whip LOL).

I may watch the beginning of DWTS, but if Kate dances near the end I may not last out until she is on. I hope she takes the fox trot a tiny bit faster than that slow as molasses paso doble. Report in, please if you watch!

No idea whatsoever whether the kids will be at DWTS, just speculating .

It may depend on how much school they can miss if they are there at DWTS. A school night and then travel back to PA. Although I guess the twins have missed school before for filming at the beach, photo ops, Today Show, GMA interviews, and magazine shoots.

As for your reference--I tend to not trust infrequent strangers regardless of what they say. So if someone comes out of the blue and makes claims that we really cannot follow up on, regardless of topic--I try not to be all too believing just b/c they say so. Sources or no sources.

Anyone who reads all of the dissent out there--could make up anything and claim a source and those who have such disdain for Kate will believe it b/c it fits the image of what they believe about Kate.

Never trust what you read on the internet from a complete stranger passing it off as fact.

If it was off limits to respond, I was not aware. But it is wise to not accept what strangers say as gospel truth. Anyone can start a blog and make claims and have zero accountability. But as long as it feeds the public frenzy, they are pretty safe from scrutiny. It has nothing to do with Kate--but the anonymity of the internet.

By the way, I just watched the video of the kids at Jodi and Kevins house, the scenes of the kids on the potty are pretty much behind closed doors, there is one scene where you just see one of the boys pulling up his pants, no where near what they showed at Jon and Kate's Also this is the episode where kate sings the praises of Jodi for watching all the kids every Friday morning and feeds them lunch and brings them home. Wow that Jodi she is one bad person.
