I would love to know how they are handling this. If Jon has to go elsewhere, is he bringing the kids there? Maybe he does, but I'd be surprised if he has a house in PA. So is he bring the kids to a hotel or something on his days? That would be weird.

Anyone know where Jon is living nowadays? Still with the new girlfriend in Utah?

I was going to post the same question a few days ago. I am wondering too. Hailey made some Twitter comments and said again, Jon trashed his own apartment, so he could collect insurance money. But does he live their yet?

I just saw on Radar Online, that Kate made a statement to the People magazine that their dogs, the 2 German Shepherds are coming back home. Makes you wonder if she had them sent away to be trained properly.

One more note-I guess Kate made the cover of People Magazine this past week, and on the Gw/OP site, everyone is madder than a wet hen, because they didn't have the Oscar winners on the cover.

See...I think this is all good. Of course she might like to date again and it sounds like she is looking for someone reliable and a "family man". He's local to where she lives (not some Hollywood celebrity) and sounds like he is successful in what he does. Sounds like a nice relationship match!

I live near Kate and the kids and the latest rumor around town is that she is dating the coach of our local indoor football league team, the Reading Express. From what I've heard he has 5 kids of his own! I could only imagine what it would be like when all the kids are together!! I may just go to a few games to see if she is there...lol!

Does anyone know what's going on with Kate's hair? I clicked on a photo that was on Yahoo yesterday and it showed her with short hair (I guess minus the extensions) dated 3/10. I then was killing time, aimlessly following links and it showed her at some women's show in Indiana on 3/13 with long hair. I've never cared much about her hair, but this discrepancy seemed weird.

Man, those GWOP people are scary with their hatred! The kids haven't been filmed in months. Obviously, fame and fortune are what Kate wants. DWTS will bring her a bit of each. Even if the kids ARE ever filmed at the show, they are supporting their mom in a studio environment, not at home being filmed on the toilet or laying with their puke bowl on the laundry room floor. If Kate can find her fame without exploiting the kids, let her! She's not going to be happy, great mom if she's sitting at home dwelling on what "could have been."

Radar said they were taken out, and are being redone for DWTS. The coloring was being changed to look more natural with highlights.

In spite of what we read on the boards, someone seems to still like her..she addressed 1000 this past week, and People sold out in many places when she was on the cover. I guess it's like a train wreck. No one wants there to be an accident, but they can't stop looking (I think this is the newest hairstyle):

Just my two cents, but I don't like the new haircut. It looks like she has a wig on, not natural. I wish they had a webcam for the backstage so we could watch the interaction between the dancers. I would love to see Pam call out Kate. Now that would be a interesting realty show.

All the reports recently have been positive...I don't know why that would suddenly change. Most of Kate's practicing has been at home. I'll do my usual and wait to judge her, til I see how she is on the show. Who knows why Weir didn't appear on the show. If it's because Kate was on, then that's childish. Would he rather appear with Jerry Springer or one of the other strange people they had on? It's reminds me when people post on the dis that such and such won't come to a party at their house if such and such is going to be there. As I've said, I can't wait to see how Kate handles the judges on live TV. I think that will give a better glimpse into whether or not she's de-frosted! Speaking of which, those of you who are planning to watch DWTS, will you be on the official DWTS thread or here on our J&K one?

It has been a VERY long time since I have been on this thread. I cant believe its been like re-done 6 or seven times! Good for you. I blog on the Blogger Gosselin Fan Site and so happy that there is still a thread here! Since I am a huge Kate fan and love Tony, am I in the right place? I won't be attacked or anything right? lol Just wanted ot say hi again and hope that you vote for Kate on Dancing With the Stars. Tony got robbed last year..

Seems as if positive reports are taken as true, but any negative report is automatically false? I don't really see why that should be, but that has always been the case with Kate.

I can't promise I will vote for Kate, not a real big fan, but if she does do well then I will vote for her, but she will really have to blow me away with her dancing as well as her attitude.

There has been a lot of negativity about Kate believed and posted on this thread, so I'm not sure where you are getting that it's automatically false.For me, it usually depends on who is saying it. When a mag like People quote people and give names they have interviewed, and those people are the ones saying how well it is going, I generally believe it. When the Post quotes someone who knows someone who said something, I usually don't. It also depends on if someone has something to gain or not. I also look to see if they are talking about something recent or something that happened a year ago. I take it all into consideration.

For instance, from the Post, they give unnamed sources. The other articles I had read that said it was going well, guoted actual people with names :

snubbing other contestants and behaving frostily to crew members, sources tell Page Six. The recently divorced mom of eight has been rehearsing for the ABC show, which starts its new season March 22. Her icy behavior also persuaded Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir to pull out of talks about being on the show because he didn't want to work alongside Gosselin. A "DWTS" source said, "Kate doesn't want anything to do with other contestants

I don't even give this much credence, because that's just a source as well:
'show source said, "She's been rehearsing in Pennsylvania to be near her kids. For the short time she was in LA, she and the cast got along great.'

I do listen more when a named source is given. Those are the ones I believe, as long as I don't think they have something to gain.

Well, Johnny Weir has been quoted on Eonline, if you think that either that news medium or Johnny is credible as a named source. I think that People is a bit of a rag myself.

Johnny did not seem to like Kate's behavior at the Stars, Stripes and Skates Charity event.

"Weir has met the world's most famous mother of eight and he is not rooting for her on Dancing With the Stars. "She was a terror," he hissed. "She was rude to everyone at this charity show, and showed up very late. She's not a film star. She's not a singer. And it's not really acceptable in those cases either, to be a nasty person."

Not sure if he has a bone to pick, because DWTS contracted with Lysacek, and they surely don't need two figure skating ringers with extensive dance training.

I probably will not watch DWTS, I'm not a regular viewer, but I do support Kate earning money without filming the kids. I do wonder if that will last much longer than the dogs return to the dog houses.

Sorry to quote all that, I'm too lazy to delete parts!

There have been enough less than positive articles about Kate that do name names (the neighbor, the Vanity Fair article, the lady who ran the one women's show; for example). Pretty much all dismissed. These latest positive ones I feel are heavily 'marketed' and out for gain. They really need to re-package Kate to get a good product that will continue to sell. To me it seems they keep trying all sorts of outlets to see what sticks. I do not think she is as popular or as talented/wonderful as they (whoever they are) are beating us over the head with, putting her on every show and mag cover. Unless people really think daily updates on Kate's hair status is just the most fascinating news around!? I could just be hopelessly out of touch, but I am happy that way.

As always, time will tell. In the past DWTS is live, so it will be hard to hide a nasty attitude.

As far as I know, Kate is still claiming to be a poor single mom of all these kids.

We know she is not poor (she is under contract by TLC). And we know Jon contributes 10,000 a month to the kids. And if he weren't we would hear about it!
