Yes.

(and I hesitated to even bring this up, because it is a sensitive and difficult issue for so many parents, and I didn't want my words to be hurtful in any form or fashion to anyone)

In the speech Kate gave in March 2009, she mentions the 7th embryo/fetus (honestly, I don't remember what she called it) and that it was absorbed, and how Jon & Kate focused on a healthy rest of the pregnancy for Kate. Jon & Kate were understandably shaken by the loss, but were prayerful and moved forward. At no time did Kate mention that she felt it was a girl, nor did she mention a name.

For those who read Multiple Blessings, was it mentioned in the book? I'm thinking that it was, but can't be sure.

This is one of those things that I refuse to speculate on. Everyone handles loss in their own way. Maybe Kate felt it was the right time to bring it up.

Fair enough--I do think the timing is weird though and will leave it at that.

I knew the VIP tour was able to be purchased by anyone. I didn't know that was front of line too!

It depends on what kind of ride. Like the Haunted Mansion, they are taken in a back way, and then put in line. You wouldn't even know when they enter the stretching room, because they come in through a different way.

Same with Space Mountain, they are brought to the top and then put in line.

Each ride is different. It doesn't mean, they go to the front of the line, they are just brought in from a different area. Most stores and rides in the MK have steps that go to the Utilidors, and they walk from ride to ride under the Utilidors. If they are like you and me and we purchased VIP tour guide. They would plan our day out and know what to ride and when to ride. They do about a 15 minute questionaire that you answer and they do a itinerary similar to what some of us do, :rolleyes1 while we tour the MK, or Epcot.

But if they paid for the perk (which you are completely and totally eligible to pay for--something quite similar if not that with the VIP), then that is no differen than going ballistic on the folks who took the time to get a FP and get to cut ahead of your 1 hour wait.

I just don't see why someone would actually bother getting angry.

But how do the other people in line know that the one getting to go in front of the line paid for the vip?

Kate is gone from DWTS. Whew!

All the more time for her book tour and, one hopes, loving on the kids.

That said, I am so happy for Tony! :lmao:

They don't, heck I never knew what the VIP tourguide looked like, until it was explained to me while we did the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. When I go to WDW now, I spot them out, and then look to see who they are escourting. I remember the last one I saw, she was escourting a wife, husband and child, and I didn't recognize them as a celebrity, but the wife gave me a really ****ty schmirk, because she realized that I recognized the VIP with her. They were just strolling through Epcot, and it had to be the lowest crowd day ever, but some people want to be led and told what to do and be shown where to go.

If Pamela Anderson had gone home instead of Kate that would have been a shame. I can only imagine the fit Bruno would have thrown!

This is why I don't gamble, Jake didn't go home this week, nor Neesy.

I really want to say something like; she couldn't let the one that got away get off without earning her some money. But that would be wrong. :cool2:

I think almost everyone has experienced a pregnancy loss. I have, and I 'feel' it was a boy. I get that, but the going on and on about it 6 years later, much like the bedrest seems just attention seeking to me.

I know if we were standing in line for over 20 minutes and then suddenly someone came and cut in the front of the line, my dh would be the first going balistic (unless it was a child in a wheelchair, etc.). But just for Kate and her kids no way. Yes, I know it must be hard with 8 kids, but those kids need to learn how to wait in lline like our kids do.

You really do not know they are there they are taken in by another entrance

:confused3 what happened with the nanny?

The nanny took pictures of the younger child tied up to a chair in her night clothes then the boyfriend was blackmailing them.

But how do the other people in line know that the one getting to go in front of the line paid for the vip?

I doubt Kate paid anything she was working for ABC so I bet she was given the VIP treatment .

You're right, that would be wrong. I hope we don't delve into this too much. You (general you) have no idea what someone's feelings on this may be. Way too individual. I think most of us have either lost a baby or know someone who has. Their feelings are theirs.

Yes, Kate is gone. If she had stayed, it would have been said it was fixed for ratings. Now that she is gone, it will prob be said it was fixed so she could do her book. To me, she's gone because she can't dance, and people voting realized that it was time. I doubt Tony is happy..at least I hope he's not. This was a job for him, and he was paid. I assume he feels he did the best he could, with a non dancer.

I think she showed grace in her ending interview.

The Gerber (Crawford's) nanny took and tried to sell (or blackmail them with) a pic of the little girl, 7 at the time, tied up and scantily dressed. I don't know the details. I do think the nanny and boyfriend have been charged. So sad for what seems to be a nice, stable, family.

I'm really glad she is gone. Because she was by far the worst dancer left imo. I thought she was very weepy in her exit interview. Don't see that with the stars usually. She said some very nice things about the other dancers and celebs. No final dance, no hugs from the other contestants or stars. Just her and Tony standing there hugging, high fiving and her "Eye Heart You" thing (again)! If Pamela had left, I would have been sad.

The host said they would talk instead of the dance (I think because she was having trouble keeping her emotions in check and was having a hard time talking) and said something about a group hug, which I assume happened after it ended.

I'm glad she is gone too (although I liked that she had a job other than the TV show). I would not have wanted Pam to go either, but I'm afraid she might next week. Maybe those voting for Kate will now vote for her. Although I really don't like the phone/popularity contest..Id rather the judges decide.

(It looked like Tony encouraged her to do the I heart thing..maybe not, and not worth my looking at it again, but I thought he did).

Hey wait..did we just agree LOL?

OMG. how awful :(

You are right. And yes we did.;) Tom did offer a group hug as an alternative to the final dance.
Unfortunatley everyone just stood there! When asked where her inner strength, drive, stems from, she said "it's who I am." No parents, no nothing mentioned or there for her. I thought it was sad. She talks about nobody but her kids (aka 8 little friends). That's alot of pressure.
In the book she tells one of the boys he's the man of the house now and has to protect her and his sisters or something like that. Okay Ma Ingalls!

I wonder if the group could hear Tom..they were prob expecting a last dance (although I can't imagine what dance they would have done..why would they have wanted to end it with a dance LOL).

There has been talk on the net about the people there for her..I've heard it mentioned that it was her friend Jamie, her mom, her sister. I wish I knew who they were..just because I'm nosey LOL.

I watched Kate & Tony's segment online today ... I'm not sure that was Jamie. It might have been, and certainly would make sense that she'd be there .. it just didn't look like her. I very definitely could be wrong, though. LOL
