In the 9 p.m. time slot of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" on Monday, TLC will air a one-hour special "Kate: Her Story", in which NBC's Natalie Morales will sit down with Berks County mom Kate Gosselin for what the network is calling "her most intimate interview to date." Morales is co-host and national correspondent for the Today show.

TLC has also announced the current lineup for the series which is in limbo since Jon told TLC they could no longer film the eight children. The network also is suing Jon for breach of contract.


At 9 p.m. Nov. 9, TLC is airing a best of compilation called "Jon & Kate Plus Eight: Top Moments."


Episodes entitled "Gymnastics and Baseball" and "Never Before Seen" air Nov. 16 and an hour-special titled "It's a Crazy Life, But it's Our Life" airs at 9 p.m. Nov. 23.

October 28, 2009. You know this reality show world is turning into the WWE!!! MediaTakeOut.com just learned that, according to the gossip weekly In Touch, Jon Gosselin is dating the Octomom.

Here’s what they're saying:

Jon Gosselin made a big stink about taking his eight children off his fmily’s popular TLC show Jon And Kate Plus 8, but apparently the TV ban doesn’t apply to himself.

According to former Cheaters producer Bobby Goldstein, Jon has agreed to star in a cheesy new reality show in which he’ll date the Octomom Nadya Suleman, who called Jon “hot” recently.

“I heard that Nadya has an insatiable desire to spend time with Jon and to put their families together . . . And I had the idea that this could be a very entertaining fiasco.”

We’re OFFICIALLY done with reality TV now . . .

In case any of us might have to come up with $230,000 for our impending divorces, here are some tips (I just copied part of the article, you'll have to follow the link for the tips).

On Monday, Jon Gosselin said he returned $230,000 in funds to a joint account shared with his estranged wife, and reality show co-star, Kate Gosselin.

He did so because earlier this month, a Pennsylvania judge ordered Jon to return these funds, even as he continues to criticize Kate for not being forced to return money she allegedly withdrew from the couple's account.

While Gosselin has a fighting chance of quickly coming up with that much coin (through media appearances and sponsorships), most regular Janes and Joes in the midst of a divorce aren't usually able to pony up large chucks of cash all at once.

Bottom line

Sember's advice? Play fair. "The best way to avoid trouble is by being honest," she suggests. If you're not sure you can withdraw funds, or how much to take out, don't do it without talking to your attorney first, if for no other reason than to avoid being accused of "pulling a Gosselin."

Sound off. Think Jon was justified in withdrawing the money? Do dads get a bum rap when it comes to the handling of joint funds?

Kate has renewed her nursing license and is good until 2011.

It looks like PA doesn't currently require continuing ed hours but starting with license renewals in 2010, they will require 30 hours.

This could be very interesting -- IMO, Rabbi Shmuley has been kind to Jon but definitely not easy on him (does that make sense? maybe I should say that he criticizes Jon in a nice way). If it's anything like that video of him talking to Jon at the synagogue or his article about Jon pulling the kids off the show, it will be more straight up than any interview either of them have done, but without the venom of Nancy Grace (who had some good points, but IMO she doesn't let the people she's "questioning" get a word in sometimes and it's too much like a prosecutor pouncing on a witness, so those interviews are not usually very revealing)

IMHO, that's a little scary. All you have to do is fill out a piece of paper, pay the fee and you have your licenses renewed. It sounds like for some, it could be years ago that they last attended class.

Is anybody thinking this works into the whole direction that TLC is trying to go in with the Kate+8 show? -- a single mother, doing it all alone with her 8 kids? Maybe they already have a job lined up for her?

It is important to differentiate--that I think Kate's appearances seem to be uncompensated based on the venues she is choosing while the lawsuit over Jon is that he contracted with other venues and agreed to speak for compensation.

They're actually going after him for the LKL interview as well, and that was not paid for -- the difference is that with the other interviews, TLC is saying any money he made is rightfully theirs. Kate was paid for many, if not most, of the speaking engagements and interviews she has done since the separation (the only exceptions would be the Today show interviews and her interview on LKL)

They could probably sue him for doing the thing with Rabbi Shmuley this Sunday too -- not that it would be successful, but it would seem to fit the criteria they used in their lawsuit.

Part of me is wondering why this guy's not on TLC anymore? I never really watched his show on TLC but clearly he likes being in the public eye and wants to bring some attention to something. If he didn't, why would he publicize Jon being there and all this "help" he's giving him? Why not just do it quickly and leave us all scratching our heads as to how it happened??? This will be the third time that he's talked with Jon and honestly, I haven't seen a drastic change in him other than the lack of fence interviews lately (which isn't a bad thing!). I understand these changes don't take place over night and all but part of me's just screaming that this rabi guy is either trying to get back at TLC for him not being on their network anymore (not sure how that panned out - who ended that deal or whatever) or what he's trying to bring attention to by blabbing about when and where Jon will be and making sure the world knows!
