I don't think it helps with another person, "Hailey" in the picture.
If Jon didn't have a girlfriend that "has his back" and agreed with everything
he says, maybe those two, could work it out. IMO Hailey is a huge part of the problem. Jon wants to date a younger person, to feel younger. I know this has been hashed out numerous times. And I still think something is going on with Kate, that she told Jon over a year ago, there marriage is over. The reason will come out eventually, but Kate is side-stepping the whole issue completely. Just that her and Jon see things differently.

I agree with you OhMari. If Jon didn't have Hailey, perhaps he'd be a bit more reflective on his relationship with Kate. Maybe they both would. But now he's got some young 22 year old who probably strokes his ego 24/7 and he feels empowered to move forward with her, not Kate. It makes me wonder what might have happened had Kate been a bit more like that toward Jon, he probably would've blossomed and taken more control. Who knows.

I thought of that this morning and on last night's show. Kate & Jon dropped the kids at the bus for the first day of school. She went on to comment that leaving alone was hard with no one to talk to about it. She said in the past they would have high-fived each other and say we made it!...very sad.

I know. It's just mind boggling to me that the tups were barely 5 and J&K's marriage fell apart. Imagine how excited she and Jon were to be expecting sextuplets, how scary it must have been for them because they wanted all 6 to be healthy and live. All that love just gone. It's such a shame they couldn't have worked it out. Now it's about $ and proving the other one wrong.

Yes, it's crazy It seems like Michael Lohan is giving more interviews about Jon than Jon is (and that's a lot). Then again, would anybody even be listening to Michael Lohan talk about anything other than Jon Gosselin or his daughter?

Proof that you don't always have to answer questions from the media. I guess the guy standing behind them is the second chair -- there was video of him and another guy going into court with Jon and Mark Heller.

IMO, Kate doesn't look happy. But that was after they had spent an hour with the arbitrator and got called up to the courtroom to see the judge (I think). That must have been an emotional meeting for both of them, no matter who was at fault.

Did anyone else think is was way wrong when Kate said in last night's episode that she had planned on riding the kids bus for the first week to set down the rules? But then she changed it to just going on when they got on, becuase they were afraid the paps would follow the bus. The poor twins would have been horified. And when I saw Kate have a cow about the girls room condition that just confirmed to me that Kate does not do the laundry, does not put away the laundry, does not vacuum their rooms, or change their sheets. And the shoe store, why doesn't kate tell the kids BEFORE they go in somewhere how things are going to be done? I have always prepared the kids for shopping trips. Things go soo much smoother that way.

I agree, it must have been very stressful for both. I have seen folks all over saying Jon didn't look happy this morning. Personally, Jon and Kate both looked like 2 people that were just in court over their divorce. No happy, sad or mad....just overwhelmed perhaps.

Pond scum is the term that comes to mind for me as well with Lohan. I sure hope he doesn't start giving Jon parenting advice.

I have to be honest about Hailey as well, I hope that relationship blows up....fast. I obviously don't know her, but I just fear that she will damage Jon's relationship with his children. Most people her age don't count hanging out with 8 children as a good time.

I agree, with the reservation that this may be one of the very few times that a marriage should be ended -- and I can't believe I said that! Frankly I don't believe that Jon and Kate can repair their marriage at this point, and their relationship was always unhealthy, IMO. To get back together both would have to do a lot of apologising, and completely rework their relationship as a more equal and respectful partnership. I also agree that Kate is hiding something.

I did not watch last night's show, I'll catch a re-run, but did Kate really say she hadn't been in the twins' bedroom for weeks?

Those poor little girls. Nine is not too old for being tucked in with a goodnight kiss, especially with all the stress they are under during the divorce. Bedtime would be a great opportunity to talk about their concerns and reassure them. Who is waking them in the morning and reminding them to clean their room and bring down their laundry? Most 9 year olds still need some help in that area.

Finally, it seems that Jon is still being represented by Meyer in PA. So I guess all those tabloid reports about Jon's initial lawyer *dumping* him were quite wrong a few weeks ago. It just shows how cautious we should be in trusting tabloid reports, and Radar On Line is demonstrating a clear bias in Kate's favor. Again, IMO

You certainly live in a beautiful area. We stayed at the Marriott Newport Coast Villas when we went to DL in 2008. Just gorgeous views and I loved the shopping.

I can see how you get caught up with the 3 hr time difference. Its amazing that some days this thread crawls and other days you can't keep up.

Aww, thanks, mousey!! We have only been here 15 months (relocated from Boston) and we love it. Actually, we love the fact we do not have to worry about those New England winters anymore.

Newport Coast is just so lovely...as are those Marriott Villas. They have a new resort not to far from the Marriott called Pelican Hill Resort & Spa...check that out if you are coming here again...you will LOVE it.



Back on topic...I could not believe that Kate had not been in the twins room either...I was actually baking and watching...the cameras did not go in there...right... I just kept glancing at the tv and Kate was sitting at the top of the stairs throwing items down...HOW ODD...how does she MISS walking into the girls bedroom??? Does she not even go up there???

TMZ has learned Jon Gosselin has been ordered to return $180,000 in marital funds, which were removed in violation of an arbitrator's order.

According to Kate's lawyer, Mark Momjian, "The remaining sum of $55,000, which Ms. Gosselin used for household bills and expenses relating to the children, will be subject to further determination by the arbitrator at a later date."

Jon is required to repay the loot by October 26 -- the next hearing -- or appear before the judge for a contempt proceeding.

The judge also ordered Kate to provide an accounting of past expenses -- also due by Oct. 26.

Kate says, "As difficult as this has been for me, I am pleased that the Court has ruled fairly on behalf of myself and my children. Now that this matter has been ruled on, I look forward to returning to private arbitration, as we have agreed to do, to resolve any remaining issues."

Guess that includes forcing Jon to do the Divorced Dad's Club based on a verbal agreement (must have been before Jon's "epiphany") -- I honestly don't even know how it would be possible to hold somebody to a verbal agreement on something like that, especially since he doesn't have a network to stand behind it yet.

So, is this making Michael Lohan look any better, or do we all just think he's the same messed up dad that we did before?

OMG -- I missed that part of the show So now we know why Kate went on the bus They were probably horrified enough by her going over the rules in front of all the other kids (whose mothers probably did the same as you and spelled everything out for them days in advance, and probably again at the breakfast table).

You're right -- this confirms that she doesn't have to do the housework in her kids' rooms at least, much less put them to bed or go in to get them up in the am.

So, Jon took out $180,000 of the $235,000 that Kate said he took? (a little shocking to me that she didn't get her accounting right) but now her lawyer is saying that she doesn't have to pay the $55,000 that she took out?

So Kate's lawyer is now saying that out of the $230,000 that they claimed Jon had taken, Kate really took $55,000 of it for expenses.

It will be interesting to hear from Kate as to what she spent that money on for her kids.

Odd--yes

Since it is a private school, their rules would be different (as far as a strange request as a parent riding the bus to school.)

I couldn't imagine a public school permitting that.

As for the rest of the post--my kids can put away their own laundry--if they remember to obey. I don't put too much credence into the mess she found as a sign of her lack of "parenting" or anything like that.

My kids will "clean" their room--and I try to allow them to be accountable for that. On occasion they will be busted. And yes I have tossed things. I am wondering if the linens were far too much for their room and if perhaps there were toys that belonged downstairs. Not my house--so I would have no clue.

I'm sorry--but I am now at Jon!

Evidently his supposed evidence of his bank statements were inadequate or failed to prove the innocence he has been proclaiming.

All the evidence he claimed to ET or Extra or whomever it was--belonged with the judge and arbitrator.

No way would they have ruled in Kate's favor if he didn't take the money.

I had thought that was a separate request that occurred when the judge's wife passed away and the trial was postponed.
