I would say that is why Kathy is on Friday's show because friday's are taped, I would think they would have a leash on Kathy and tell her what she could say. She is on there to promote her new book. I did love her parody video about Kate and Jon.

I don't know if The View has had much luck with putting Kathy on a leash. She was on the day after the big Rosie/Elizabeth fight and they told her not to talk about it and she brought it up every couple minutes. I think Kathy will get a couple digs in, albeit, maybe subtle ones.

Since Kate was in New York to film The View, and I saw that Jon was also in New York at a VMA after party, I guess they had a nanny staying with the kids home in PA? It's a shame they can't work out their schedules so one parent is always with the kids.
Of course, that would involve communication and compromise, which seem to be in short supply with J & K.

Kathy Griffin spoofed Kate last week (maybe 2 weeks ago) on Jimmy Kimmel. I guess that's similar to being "done" on SNL? There was speculation that Kathy Griffin might apologize to Kate or something? I guess we'll have to wait and see!

So I guess that means they have the hook in us. Even thought Kate's no one anyone wants to watch on a talk show, we'll all have our DVR's set to tape LOL! I"m not missing this one.

Of course, that would involve communication and compromise, which seem to be in short supply with J & K.

And most other divorced/divorcing people. Which usually has something to do with why they are divorcing. Hopefully this will be worked out in court.

Don't quit your day job LOL..I don't think you'll make much on the postings. A lot of those posters on the View (and radar and others) are very familiar names, that have been posting for some time. If you do a google search for their names with the shows they are commenting on, they are all over the place posting. So I don't buy that this is a another job for you..I think you were just looking for your 15 minutes..admit it!

On Tuesday's episode of The View, Kate said she soon won't be wearing her wedding ring anymore.

Okay animal lovers, divorcing a spouse is one thing, but getting rid of your dogs is quite another. Jon Gosselin is sending his two German Shepherd's back to the breeder as part of the fallout of his divorce from Kate.

While the eight Gosselin children are staying in the family's Wernersville, PA home, their parents are splitting time there, trying to avoid disrupting the kids' lives but also not wanting to be around each other.

Now, Shoka and Nala, the family dogs are being discarded and Jon has been telling pals it's Kate's fault because she won't take care of them when he's not at the house.


"Jon blames Kate for having to give up the dogs," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "Of course these days, Jon blames Kate for just about everything."

Jon has given several interview recently and been brutal on Kate, saying he "despises" her and love girlfriend Hailey Glassman more
than he ever loved his wife.

He's also in the middle of another scandal, with his kids' babysitter, Stephanie Santoro now coming forward and confirming she had a sexual relationship with Jon - a fact first reported by RadarOnline.com.

But Jon's attempts to blame Kate for getting rid of the dog simply isn't fair, one source told RadarOnline.com. The dogs have always been Jon's and while Kate was willing to do whatever she had to she simply can't handle them and Jon didn't make any other arrangements for them to be taken care of. He now lives in an apartment in New York City and never considered getting a place where he could keep his dogs, the source told us.

"Kate's being gracious about the situation, she's not going to blame Jon," said the source.

Earlier in the summer Jon caused an uproar when he made comment to People.com about the dogs. "Those kids beat them up, climb on them, pull their tails, bite at them, drag them around and everything you can imagine not to do to an animal, they've done."

The Humane Society of Berks County, Pa., where the Gosselins live, received numerous complaints about the family and animal cruelty, prompting Jon to release a statement to teh HSBC. "I would like to clarify a recent statement I made regarding my family's two German Shepherd puppies, Shoka and Nala. The statement - if taken literally and out of context - could be misinterpreted and I'd like to set the record straight. We understand the esponsibilities of being good dog owners. Whenever my kids are with Shoka and Nala, everyone is carefully supervised to ensure that no one - dog or child - is injured. Shoka and Nala are loyal companions who we consider members of our family. We would never do anything to hurt them, and treat them with the respect and love that they deserve."

I think this is probably the most responsible choice he has made lately - and yet he blames it on Kate. No one trained those dogs, the kids were rough with them, Kate resented having to take care of them even when they were married. That family was not ready for 1 dog - nevermind 2!

I think the dog situation would only have worked if Jon was at the house all of the time. Yes, they were basically his dogs, but IMO Kate could have always said no to getting them. I don't think they ever would have gotten the dogs if they hadn't been able to work them into the show.

And even though I cringed when I saw how the kids were allowed to treat the dogs (albeit Jon was not there when that video was taken), I do think this is yet another painful loss that the kids would have to deal with.

Oh my gosh, those poor kids....to have their pets taken from them while they are trying to adjust to mommy & daddy not living together anymore....all the money that family has and they couldn't have paid someone to take care of the dogs?? I really don't believe that Kate spends all that much time home alone with just her and the kids, I'm sure there is almost always hired help there.

This story just keeps getting sadder and sadder....I hope and pray those children are in counseling.

I'm sure getting rid of the dogs will be sad for the kids, but I honestly don't think it's fair to blame Kate. She obviously isn't a dog person and Jon knows that, he should be the one to make sure they are taken care of. Dogs are alot of work and they deserve to be well taken of. I imagine it's hard for both Jon and Kate to take care of the dogs and the kids now.

I would imagine they are now working out final details of the divorce and this was a part of it. Joint custody of the kids may be agreed to - but there was no way K was ever going to agree to joint custody of the dogs. They would have to be shuffled back and forth with Jon who didn't have the foresight to have a German Shepherd friendly home - he couldn't even have all the kids over at once at his new place.
Jon has talked off-and-on about getting a couple of big dogs through the last couple of seasons - I think Kate finally caved when she thought it would make Jon "happy", she wouldn't be the one there all day every day taking care of them and as an added bonus it made good tv.
They shouldn't have gotten those dogs in the first place - and now the kids will be upset that they are gone - but in my opinion a better choice than keeping them.

I guess I'm kind of surprised - with Kate seeing how much the kids love them and getting rid of them. That can't be an easy choice. Jon should have moved into the other house (the one they moved out of) and took the dogs there when he left or something...not gotten an apartment where he can't keep the dogs.

I do think it's going to be hard on the kids and will teach them that when you don't want to take care of something you get rid of it. (husband or dog in this case)

I'm not surprised, and I'm also not surprised that Jon is bitter about it.

If Jon is that bitter, he should use some of his money to pay someone to be a full time dog sitter.

I wonder just how much care fell on him and how much on Kate, as for walking them, brushing them, taking them to training, cleaning up the everyday poo. I feel the worse for the kids to lose one more element of their lives, however, it's not unusual that a dog is put up for adoption as a product of divorce.

Those pictures with the article...could they have been taken off-property? Some are quite sharp and look as though the photographer was on the driveway with Jon. It's not possible he was that bitter/vengeful. How cruel to invite the paps to watch this just so he could blame K for something else. Wow - that's mean! I know this divorce is nasty....

So even as late as when they got the dogs..they were obviously still going to be living together. Did they get the dogs around christmas time?

I don't think Jon would have got the dogs if he was thinking of shacking up in a new york pad....but maybe they were "apart" at the time they got the dogs..but prepared to live "together"..for the show or whatever..until the scandal broke with Jons behaviour.

I don't know...its strange...who buys a v expensive new house and two dogs when you are on the verge of divorce?

the more I think about this, the more I think it's time for Jon to step up and do the right thing by his kids (IMO he has some things to make up for). There's no reason he can't have 2 big dogs in NYC in a 2 bdrm apt. -- many people do it -- even if he has to change apartments, since he is only leasing it. He can take the dogs back and forth since he now has a new SUV, he can hire a dog-walker if he has to. He did say he was lonely without the kids. So what if it cramps his bachelor lifestyle? JMHO he's not really a bachelor

Nope -- they must have been taken on the driveway. No doubt about it -- Jon is really mad about this.

Not that strange. You hear about people doing/trying alot of stuff before a divorce. A friend of my sister went on a 10 day cruise with her DH, he filed for divorce 2 days after they got home. Kate and or Jon probably thought the new house would fix things, or the dogs, or whatever.
