That is the strangest thing yet. They have been investigated by the Humane Society? Kate does crate them a lot, we've seen that. I believe in crating, but she obviously doesn't like the dogs. She just wanted to name them, pick them out, get them for free, then imitate the breeder on tv by saying, "blah, blah, blah." How could Jon be expected to take care of them aside from when he is there? The kids standing on that stoop was so weird. Poor, poor kids; the only constants are the cameras. Both Jon and Kate are digging themselves into a hole they may not quickly get out of when it comes to those kids. I get the feeling that neither of them is holding back for the kids' sake. They are literally caught in the middle.

That was the most disgusting display to date....those poor kids! And Jon has it all on tape for all the world to see...wonder what the family court judge would think of this one....this man has lost it!

I agree. It is so sad to see.

I am just completely bothered by this. I can't believe he has allowed the "P" people on his property and then makes a comment to the kids about saying goodbye to their dogs so they could film their reaction. So sad!!

That's awful and the poor kids probably don't even fully understand what's happening.

BTW, I'm not surprised the Human Society stepped in after that video was posted with the kids hitting the dogs -- and Kate's babysitter was standing right there at the time.

What an absolute *******. I'd bet those kids didn't realize their doggies are going away forever. I think they would have shown a lot more emotion had they thought that. I believe Jon Gosselin has a few screws loose. No concerned parent would have exposed their children to that display. Very, very sad.

So I guess that means they have the hook in us. Even thought Kate's no one anyone wants to watch on a talk show, we'll all have our DVR's set to tape LOL! I"m not missing this one.

I'm sorry but J & K are both to blame concerning the dogs. They weren't getting along and they get not one but two dogs to bring into the mix. Just another example of how selfish they both are. Those poor kids loosing their pets. After all the hoopala of picking them out at the breeders to the breeders donation to some charity to bringing them home to name and they end up back at the breeders.
All there money and they can't hire someone to take care of them at the house?? Kate hated those dogs and never wanted them. She could of stopped this from happening but she's too busy looking for a new career as a talk show host. Jon isn't even thinking rational anymore.
Another example of people who shouldn't have pets---pets are a committment and I hope the dogs end up in a good home where they are loved and appreciated. Maybe the breeder didn't provide there food and they couldn't get a pet food company to donate any so this is there way to solve the problem--wouldn't put it past them!

I'm sure getting rid of the dogs will be sad for the kids, but I honestly don't think it's fair to blame Kate. She obviously isn't a dog person and Jon knows that, he should be the one to make sure they are taken care of. Dogs are alot of work and they deserve to be well taken of. I imagine it's hard for both Jon and Kate to take care of the dogs and the kids now.

I'll throw this out there...

it's not fair to only blame Jon or Kate, since the dogs were just a prop in the show. TLC should have helped with their care.

It seems to me he is playing the victim card again. It seems he wants everything his way or else.

Could he be mentally ill?

He said, Kate said she does not want to take care of the Dogs on the same phone call that she said she does not want Haley at the house. Some how Kate won that round. I wonder why he agreed not to bring Haley.

The good news is he said he is just leaving them at the breeder until he figures out what to do. I hope that means his own house in PA.

I tell you if Jon hadn't gotten caught with the schoolteacher, this charade would still be going on. No doubt Jon through a wrench in the plan when the paps snapped a picture of him with another women. I agree that TLC should shoulder some of the responsibility concerning the props--I mean dogs. Reminds me of people who buy chicks and bunnies at Easter time only to get rid of them right after.

ETA: They (the paps) would have to know if they were being invited to "the other side" and have the right lenses. Those big lenses they use from the road wouldn't work standing that close - they'd need a more "normal" lens. I meant to post that earlier and maybe one of the other photo buffs (madge and DMRick I think) know more about that than I would. I'm too new to photography but know that if I put my "zoom" lens on my camera, I can't take pictures close to me without switching it.

they likely have many lenses with them to be prepared for any scenario. I can change my lenses fairly quickly.

speaking specifically of these pictures, they look like they were taken much closer than where the other paparazzi pictures are taken. INF Daily is a pap agency, and that's who's getting the photo credit.

I can't remember where I read it... because it didn't seem significant at the time, but at the appearance over the weekend, Kate was asked (by a fan) about the dogs. I need to find it... if I'm remembering it right, something about the answer made me go hmmm.

I'll get back to you on that.

Ok. that's nothing terribly controversial, but when she was here, someone asked about the dogs and she grimaced about them... then mustered up a fake smile and tried to say something clever. it was evident that she was still adjusting to them -- this was in March.

but I think, based on everything we've learned in the last few months, that Jon & Kate bought the new house and intended to keep filming as though nothing had changed. I believe that Kate (not because she's a bad person, but because of her personality she thought she could make it work) thought she could hold it all together for the show. Kate has more to lose with the show ending. She's the one who wants a career in show business, Jon doesn't. He's just along for the freebies.

I didn't think the kids looked sad, though. That's likely because they don't understand. Who knows what Jon told them?

I know someone who got their kids a guinea pig, cat, dog, ferrett and bird all within the last year---none of them worked out as pets. Its called "getting a pet for the wrong reasons". Jon & Kate should of known better. Unfortunately their brains (if they have one) are in Hollywood!

I don't see anything wrong with Jon using the paps to try to get sympathy for him. Kate uses the kids when she wants to. Yes, they should BOTH stop acting like idiots but I have a funny feeling that this is gonna get worst before it gets any better.
