It's really not a good situation. Would those of you that are upset with Jon for taking the dogs to the breeder been happy if he had done it after the kids went to bed so that when they woke up, they would be gone? I'm not sure that would have been good for them either. I think that they should be given the chance to say good-bye.
I'm not understanding the logic that Jon is "bad" because he didn't buy a home where the dogs could live. He has a house now but Kate doesn't want to care for them. I never really thought that she wanted the dogs to begin with so I'm not surprised. I doubt that she would allow them back onto that property on the days that Jon is there even if Jon did take them to live with him. Either way, the kids would probably never see them again because I don't see Kate allowing the children to go to Jon's house for the week or weekend even if it was close.
