Did Kate reply to his interview? Or was it yet another 'source'. I don't know who or what to believe anymore. If Kate were smart, she would just not respond. If the mags want me to believe them, please give me the actual source.

as far as I know, Kate issued a statement -- it was read during the interview or immediately following?

I hope it's cooler for you in Florida, than it was for us, and that you walk on the rides like we did, and that you have your reservations all set (because so many people were arguing, trying to get into restaurants, even thought the signs at the front of the parks all said the restaurants were full) and that you have a wonderful time, like we did with our kids and grands!

Did he quit (if he did quit) before her tours? I thought he quit to be with the kids (which I always thought was a bad idea, since he had already said he was glad he could leave the house and the noise and go to work during the day) because she was touring. I've often wondered, if he lost his job (just wondering, nothing to go on) and that's when they decided he would be the one to stay home, since it wasn't him the tour/speech people wanted anyway.

Jon quit his job doing IT work and then began working for Beth's husband. Then he stopped doing that and started doing J & K full time and that became his job. The IT job was long before the book tours.

Kevin and Jodi have been awfully quiet lately.

Strange isn't it. Just my opinion, but I hope they remain quiet. They had nothing positive to add to the situation.

1. In Kate's rebuttal to Jon's interview and says Jon "is starving for attention". Isn't that "the pot calling the kettle black", as my mom used to say?

2. Who's camaro are Jon and Hailey in front off? Sweet car!

The only rebuttal I've heard Kate make was that she doesn't intend to discuss these details in public or something like that. The starving for attention remark was from a 'source' wasn't it, not from her? Or did she make another statement? Heck, I hardly believe what comes direct out of their mouths..I can't start to believe the sources LOL.

Hey Doris! It's cool right now and we're 30 minutes from the condo(checking in via crackberry). Called on the way down and got an adr for tusker house at 845 in the morning so that's a good sign. We're also doing the Wishes dessert party tomorrow night!! I hope the rides are walk on - that would be great!

And yes feel free to talk about me! LOL.

Hey there...While I'm not a regular viewer to the show, I did watch the interview the other night with Jon. Boy..was that disappointing. Frankly I didn't find him to be especially articulate..and that was somewhat surprising. Perhaps it was just his frustration at being misunderstood. I don't think the interview cleared anything up..or showed him in a very favorable light for that matter. One would have hoped he would have had a "take the high road" type of attitude. Certainly.. that was not to be the case.
I have heard him say before that his twenties went by so quickly. That he married at 23 or so..had the twins..and then the rest by 27. Is this suppose to make the viewers feel sorry for him? Really no one told you get married and have these kids. Here's a news flash buddy...other people get married in their twenties and have kids. Okay..maybe not 8 of them..but get over it. They're your kids. You made the decision to have them, so deal.
Even an occasional viewer to the show could see that Kate is a bossy.. umm shall we say.."so and so" . Again..so you have a bossy wife. How about this. Grow up.., put on your big boy pants..and man up! Did you not know she was this way before you married her...I seriously doubt that.
When he said that he "despised" her. Hello..anybody home? You do know that your children will grow up and see this stuff right? Even the interviewer (Cuomo) had to tell him to watch what he says.
He's dating a 22 year old. This is his soul mate? Okay...
pluh-eze I mean...no offense, I have a 22 year old. Love her to death..but seriously.. What is she..maybe a year out of college. What's the matter with this guy. He no sooner tells us he lost his twenties to marriage and fatherhood..yet he's dating a 22 year old. What's wrong with this picture.
Also, his response as to whether they should be doing the show. That..he doesn't make the kids..it's their choice. Give me a break. I was so glad when Cuomo said he didn't buy that. That he is their father and can make a decision for them that is for their own good. Or something to that effect.
I feel exactly the same. This is all about the money.
Both Jon and Kate have tried to justify continuing with the show..but I don't buy it.
Just my two cents..and we all know what that's worth!

I'm sure she despises him but held back and didn't say anything negative like that. We all know how negative she was on the show. I think TLC is trying to soften her image. The last few shows (I didn't watch the dude ranch) have her going with the flow and not so demanding. I also thought the shows were boring. Add me to the list of people that are tired of their free vacations. Also, she rarely has all 8 kids anymore except at home and we know they are surrounded by film crew, nannies, housekeepers, etc......Jon & Kate is over and so should the show.

I think he is angry that the media is showing him as he is... a creep. I think he feels betrayed because Kate is keeping it together in public & he is not.

I believe Jon when he said he was attracted to Kate having it together, being organized, etc.

I also agree that Kate was the "parent" .. but I think there's a part of Kate that chose -- and liked -- that role. Especially since she craves being the one in control.

Money changes people. Period.

Wow -- I was really surprised at this response to Mousey's post, which IMO was pretty unbiased.

JMHO, but even if I did agree with your portrayal of Jon as a drug addict and a creep (which I don't), that wouldn't excuse the way Kate talked to him or about him in public, on the show, or in front of their kids.

Does Jon have no redeeming qualities at all? Is it your opinion that everything that has gone wrong is his fault? That Kate has done nothing wrong? Just asking because I want to understand your perspective.
