I don't believe the engagement part of the story..
that's good to know about Norton -- I knew there was likely an issue, but didn't have any first-hand experience. The first thing I do when I get a new computer is dump Norton or Macafee (is that what it's called?) and download AVG or avast! I also use firefox or safari, depending on which computer I've got at the time.

Wow those pixs of Jon and Hailey in US Weekly are just gross. It is really disappointing that some men have a hard time seeing when they look absolutely idiotic. Really, another Ed Hardy shirt? Maybe Ed Hardy can donate some shorts too...I think he has worn those tan cargo ones all summer.
My brother has a German Shepherd mix and my mom always makes him brush it outside. He often does this on days when he is watching my kiddos--as an overlap.
I thought the photos of Kate leaving were just so sad. But I think in light of the shear number of kids and the amount of stuff they would need to pack for a traditional custody arraignment, the kids having costody of the house is the best solution. Although, it seems like neither adult will have a "home" which would be really hard.
I would think it would be better for the kids if they didn't each parent had their own stable home. Less confusion. Different houses, different rules. Rather than, "but Daddy lets us do that when he's here". Very confusing. Also, I think it would be healthier for them to see theri parents in their real lives (although with these to nincompoops, who knows what is real anymore?) with their real relationships (well not a sleaze like Hailey) . Instead of the parent coming in and "playing parent" for a few days before they pack up and go back to their own lives at their own homes. If you were the kids, wouldn't you want to see where Mommy lives? Wouldn't you be hurt that you weren't there with her ever? That you weren't "special " enough to see or stay at her "other" home?
My cousing and his wife split and they had separate home that the kids went between, but instead of packing them between the houses and making the kids feel like gypsies, they just had half the clothes in the the drawers at one house, and half at the other. THe kids had their permanent things, toothbrushes and all at both houses. They simply needed to be dopped off, and they were right at home again. I think that is healthier than this crazy set up. Who wants to see mommy having to pack a suitcase and leave simply cuz Daddy got home?
I agree. I wouldn't be at all surprised if once they sell the first house, this one either gets sold, or one of them gets bought out. That said, I'm not sure Jon would buy in the area, and I'm not sure he can be made too, and then what? He only sees them on Saturday afternoons, since he has no where to take them?I would think it would be better for the kids if they didn't each parent had their own stable home.
I sort of understand their reasoning with the current setup. They have 8 kids. I know Jon was looking at one bedroom apartments. Where would the kids sleep? I don't know what Kate's off day apartment/house looks like, but I would expect that it's not a huge place. Yes, it's probably still confusing for the kids to see mommy and daddy come and go, but I think it is helpful to have the stability of the nanny and their "stuff" around all the time. I'm just wondering how long this will last.
I don't either. What would be the point. I'm pretty sure the milk is free, why bother with the cow.
Just stopped by to say I'm so glad John has a girlfriend!
Good for him!

In the US right now and therefore following the drama for once... I gotta say, I have rarely been THAT disgusted with a man in my life. Kate has never been my fave but surprise, she's turning out to be the most normal parent here.
Yeah she emasculated him - because he let her. Wearing biker tees, skull rings and trying to go back 10 years in time by dating some **** is NOT making him a MAN again. He's still a wimp, but with a new costume.
The only reason I can think of is it might look better to give custody to a parent with a spouse
I was always a big AVG fan, but I hate the newest version. They added so much junk to it. I do have Norton on two of the computers, and this years version is a real winner. Did I mention my son works for Norton LOL? We discuss AVG and NOrton and the differences all the time. Up until this year, the computers with AVG always had the updates faster, but I have to admit Norton is faster as of this year.

egads. not that spouse. LOL.
We travel a bit, and I just got my first netbook. Ohh, it's so much easier to tote around. Plus it fits in my drawer in the RV! It came with 3 months of Norton, so I'll just stick with that on that one.also good to know ... I may be in the market for a new laptop soon!
